Christine: [frightened] What do you mean, Phantom?
The Phantom: [approaching Christine, with his hand extended] Isolation. The fear of being alone, with only your thoughts and memories to keep you company.
[The mirror starts to crack and break apart, as the Phantom's voice echoes through the theater.]
The Phantom: [voice echoing] Isolation can drive a person mad, leading them to do terrible things. It can destroy your mind, leaving you trapped in a world of darkness and despair.
[The mirror shatters, as the Phantom disappears and Christine is left alone on stage.]
