Adrien's POV

It was 9:30 and Marinette was an hour late. I wasn't angry I was worried she's always on time. What if something happened to her. Then I heard a barely audible knock.

Adrien: come in

Then Marinette came in and she was dressed in lazy day clothes.

Marinette:I'm sorry for being late and not dressing properly it's been a rough night for me

Her eyes were puffy and her face looked tear stained. She looked exhausted. 

Adrien: are you ok

Marinette: I-i'm fine

She went to her desk and sat there. I then looked
at the picture of her and that tomato i never asked her if that was her boyfriend.

Adrien: hey Marinette

Marinette: yeah

Adrien: who is that boy in the picture with you

She then immediately glared at the picture. She picked it up and looked at it. She started to tear up and just started crying. She then screamed at the picture.

Marinette: I HATE YOU

Then she threw it and it broke good thing this room is sound proof. She then broke down on the floor. I got up and went to her. I picked her up and went to my desk. I sat her on my lap and comforted her. I caressed her hair saying calming words. She then spoke after she was calm.

Marinette: t-thank y-you and that was my ex boyfriend we broke up yesterday I did the breaking up because he cheated on me with two girls at once and he's once before that and I couldn't take it no more

Adrien: well that little tomato doesn't deserve you you're one of a kind and he blew it you're smart, sweet, generous, genuine, talented, an angel on the inside and out 

Marinette: thank you

Adrien: Is it bad i want know his excuse when you caught him

Marinette: he instantly regretted it and he said because I didn't do it with him and that was because I am a virgin and I wasn't ready besides he wasn't worthy enough

Adrien: wow he's a real jerk

Marinette: I know but you helped me feel better thank you

She then kissed my cheek and I blushed a little and so did she.

Adrien: you're welcome anytime

Marinette then got to work and was happy the rest of the day. I was happy now too.
