This morning I woke up earlier than usual surprising even myself. Just laying there on bed I looked out of the window and saw sunrays coming in through it and falling on my face. Enjoying the warm sun on my face I realized that today we were to return to our homes. Blissful vacation coming to an end... never mind there will be more to come. Can I somehow make Meenakshi come with me in my car on the return trip? For this I will need Rishabh's permission and the only way to get it is to convince Misha Bhabhi. She must be in the kitchen making coffee for everybody so I went there but I saw Meenakshi standing near the coffee machine with her back to me. She was still in her night shirt and her hair was up in a messy bun and without looking at her face I knew she was looking fresh.

I crept behind her slowly without her knowledge and whispered, "Good morning."

She was surely not expecting it because she gasped and suddenly turned hitting me in the chest.

Ok, that hurts!

"You punch so hard." I looked at her with wide eyes with a hand on my chest.

"You deserve this for scaring me. Why did you come behind me like a thief?" She said frowning at me.

"Ohk sorry but it still hurts." I said pointing my finger at me chest and her features softened and a wave of guilt washed over her face, "I am sorry, it was sudden. Does it still hurts?" She kept her hand on my chest and I smiled.

"Well if you will keep your hand like that then maybe yes..." I winked as she looked up at me and then looked down blushing. "Ohh is princess blushing?" I teased her more as pulled her hand away.

"No."

"Yes you are."

"No."

"Ok if you keep looking so cute blushing like this I may do something which you may or may not want right now." And again her eyes widened as she looked at me and hastily turned back to the coffee machine and I smiled again.

"Umm... you are up early?"

"Yeah... surprised even myself. But it seems as if you have taken the early to bed and early to rise poem very seriously." She turned and glared at me but didn't say a word.

Handing me a cup of coffee we went to sit in the garden. Birds were chirping and the weather was too good.

"Meenakshi?"

"Hmm."

"Yesterday... at the lake..."

"It's ok Agneesh. You didn't know. Don't worry, I am fine now. Drink your coffee or it will get cold."

"I wanted to ask something else too."

"Yeah what?"

"Will you like to ride with me back to Rajgarh? Only us?"

"You will have to ask Bhaia about it."

"Umm... yeah..." With this we fell silent sipping our coffee.

After two hours, lot of fights between Ansh and Meenakshi and angry glares by Rishabh we were ready to leave.

I got my car out of garage when I saw Meenakshi coming out with a bag in her hand. Running to her, I took it from her hand as she smiled at me. This earned us some coughs but who cares?

"Meenu Rimi wants to sit with Raima so why don't you travel with Agneesh?" Rishabh said without making an eye contact with either of us which was quite uncharacteristic of him. Meenakshi looked at me and I shrugged. I held the door open for her as she sat inside and then I took the driver's seat. We took off on our way and Rishabh's car was ahead of us.

We had just reached the highway when it started drizzling. Meenakshi opened the window and kept her hand outside catching the raindrops as she giggled. Mere khayalon ki mallika was playing on the radio.

"You know Shahrukh Khan is my favourite." She told me.

"Mine too. I have watched like all movies of his. But I think he has now started taking up weird scripts."

"True." There was a temporary pause and then she looked at me again, "You won't laugh if I tell you something?"

"Promise, I won't."

"I cried while watching Kal Ho Na Ho." She said with a blush.

"Even I cry while watching movies. But promise me that if you ever see me crying while watching movies you will never ever talk about it and forget that it ever happened." I looked at her briefly and then turned my attention to the road as she giggled.

"Ok pinkie promise." She said holding up her little finger which I entangled with my little finger.

She is soooo cute.

"So Meenakshi what do you want for a wedding gift?"

"Sweet corns!!" she exclaimed.

"Ok, swee- what?" I looked at her confused.

"No I mean... can I have sweet corns right now? Please."

How can anybody say no to that face? I pulled over near that vendor and bought two sweet corns. As we sat outside the car in a shade enjoying the sweet corn and rain she told me that she can trade all her riches for these small moments of happiness. I guess Ma has actually found a perfect wife for me.

She was enjoying the moment so much that I decided to wait for a while and then move again. We were sipping on our tea and she was slightly blowing at it to cool it down. Her hair were wet and were sticking on her neck. I tried to resist the urge of removing them.

"Meenakshi?"

"Yes."

"You are beautiful."

She looked at me surprised, even I was surprised about this sudden confession.

"Thank you."

"Don't you think rain makes everything beautiful?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Agneesh, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Umm... actually... you know how after marriage a couple is kind of forced for kids as soon as possible?" I think I knew where this was going.

"Meenakshi if this is about us then don't worry. I don't think I am ready for a kid so soon and we will have a family planning and everything will happen only when both of us are really ready, not because someone wants us to."

"That was a relief." She heaved a sigh of relief and a laughter escaped my lips, "Just think, we had a whole vacation to discuss all this but we are talking about it on a road trip." She also joined me in laughter.

We decided to move again and I opened the door for her when she stood next to me.

"Agneesh, can I hug you?" She said looking at the ground.

I opened my arms and she hugged me tightly as my arms engulfed her. She was really perfect, her head came near me chest and I rested my chin on her head. We parted and she looked up at me with a smile and blush. I was about to kiss her forehead when her phone rang disturbing her moment.

"Ansh bhai..." She said apologetically and I nodded to pick it up.

Chitransh.... now come to me with your girlfriend...!

"They are asking us to catch up soon."

"Yeah ok." I said and sat in the driver's seat.

"Don't worry we will complete our hug soon." She said reading my dejected expression and I smiled in my frown winking at her, "Of course. We will complete the hug and start some new things too." which made her blush.

Talking about stuff like this we reached Rajgarh where I rested for a while. Later Raima drove as we left to my place. Only 15 days and then I will be here as a groom but right now I need to be ready to tell everything to Ma as soon as I reach home.

It was a beautiful vacation after all.

Ok sorry for uploading this late but my house help wasn't coming and I was the one doing all the chores 🙄 so couldn't find any time to write.
But today the weather is very beautiful and so I had to do this.
