Dax turned down the radio as his high beams projected a clear path laid out before them as he drove on the main road. Dax turned the wheel and then he stopped. Agent X looked through the passenger side window as Dax parked on dry sandy turf. Dust threw up in the air. Hugo looked up, checking out the layout of the facility with a large black fence that surrounded the area. Two spotlights shined in two corners of the wall as Agent X sighed.

Dax opened the driver's side door." We're here."

Hugo typed on the keys of his laptop gaining access to surveillance and seeing how many people were inside. "There are several guards in three levels."

Agent X pushed a magazine clip on his glock. "How many?"

Hugo wiped his nose. "By my count, I would say fifty." Hugo sipped on his stainless flask laced with moon shine.

Agent X glanced at Dax." You think you can stall the guards long enough for me to sneak into the facility?"

Dax walked forward. "Shouldn't be an issue."

Hugo typed his keys on his laptop while taking a bite of his exposed turkey wheat sandwich that rested on his lap mixed with mustard and mayo. "Don't die." 

Dax approached the tall black gate. A guard moved forward with his eyes squinting while his hand rested on his holster. "Stop, identify yourself."

Dax came closer with a glare."You know who I am, Cadet."

The guard stood back startled. "Major Dax, I had no idea it was you."The Commander didn't mention you were coming. Why are you here with a civilian?"

Agent X placed his hands behind his back, reaching for his gun as his nostrils flared.

Dax gave off a warm smile while holding on to Agent X's shoulder. "I'm here to give our new recruit a grand tour of our facility."

The Cadet looked dead straight at Agent X as his eyes dotted back to Dax. He nodded and pressed the button to slide the gate open.

Agent X glanced at Dax as he lowered his hand. "So much for stealth."

The gate closed behind Agent X and Dax as they walked further inside the facility that stood twenty-two feet tall meshed well with concrete and thick reinforced steel. Inside the corridor, Agent X turned his head as he spotted twenty people dressed in thick white rubber, wearing masks mixing red and blue chemicals in a large glass beaker and others in glass funnels as it bubbles emitting white smoke.

The Cadet pointed to the group. "This is our lab department."

Agent X held his hand at his chin. "What are we cooking here?"

The Cadet jested his hand."Zela Prime is a new type of drug that can help enhance performance in terms of speed, strength, and endurance." "Right this way."

The Cadet led Agent X and Dax to a narrow hallway with dim light. The Cadet approached the keypad on the wall, entering a five digit pin, leaning forward for a Retina scan as the red laser moved up and down the blue iris. Agent X and Dax Stood behind him both glancing at each other and at the Cadet.

Agent X whispered. "Deshed couldn't be far. When the time comes, I'll take him out."

Dax nodded. "Agreed."

Inside the room, Agent X gave a cold blank stare as his hands tightened, noticing twenty men dressed in tactical gear. All bearing the dark Raven tattoo on their arms. His hand tensed, walking behind Dax. When walking further, Agent X saw scientists inject a black serum in the arm of test subjects from male to female laying on hospital beds.

"This is station 19." The Cadet pointed. "This is a place where we condition soldiers to near perfection. Only the best and brightest get elected for this procedure."

Agent X formed a fake smirk. "Sounds cozy. I wonder what the entrees are like."

Dax lifted an eyebrow. "And where is the Commander these days?"

"You can ask him yourself."As the Cadet walked further through the hallway, he pushed through two tall black solid doors,feeling a cool breeze escape. Agent X eyes honed in at a man wearing a black eye patch on his right eye and a green military uniform sitting on his desk smoking a Cuban cigar. 

"Major Dax, what brings you here at my facility?" The Commander dusted off his cigar on an ashtray.

The Commander turned his head toward Agent X. "What do we have here?"

Dax cleared his throat. "This is our new recruit, Jared." 

Agent X clenched his hand hard as he smiled. "Nice place you have here."

"So what made you want to join the Raven Agency?"

Agent X rubbed his chin as he paced forward. "I know you guys have good benefits including that drug stuff you are cooking up."

The Commander puffed smoke in the air. "That drug stuff is the latest of many investments. I have a proposition for you. I think you are up for the task."

Agent X looked at the Commander. "What do you want me to do?"

The Commander pushed his cigar in the ashtray. "I want you to kill this person." The Commander slid a black and white photo of Deshed Harvester. Agent X took up the photo and placed it back in trouble. "He killed important members of the Raven Agency. I want you to carry out the hit. Do that and you will be rewarded."

Agent X nodded."That won't be a problem. When do you want it done?"

"You will receive further instructions where the target will be in the coming days. You may go. I would like to have a word with Major Dax."

Agent X walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. Dax walked closer to the Commander's desk. The Commander folded his hands on the table. "Tell me, Major? Can I trust your new recruit?"

"Jared has proven to be loyal and able to carry out his duties. You shouldn't have to worry about him."

"The Commander looked at Dax's sincere eyes. "Okay, Major. That will be all dismissed."

"Yes, sir." Dax left the room.

Agent X sneaked into the drug facility only to find six bodies on the floor in a pool of blood. Agent X pulled out his gun checking each corner as he stopped over the trail of blood, passing through broken glass on the table. 

Something moved with speed as Agent X turned and fired his gun. Agent X walked slowly in the direction checking his side with his hand on the trigger. He wiped the cold sweat off his face.

"X." A woman called out.

Agent X turned as his eyes widened when he saw Casey covered in blood as she wiped the blood off her face, while holding a katana in the other hand.

Agent X revealed a shock expression. "Casey? You did all this? How long have you been juicing on Zela?"

"And you thought I was a simple demisal in distress? You forget I used to work for the agency that molded you."

"What are you doing here?"

"Trying to save you."

"Save me? From what?"

The Commander and Dax ran into the room, noticing a trail of bodies at their wake with a stench of death lingering in the air.

"What hell is going on here?" The Commander asked.

Dax pulled out his gun on Casey. Agent X stopped in front of Dax and raised his hand. "Don't shoot!"

Fifty guards stormed the facility with weapons pointed at Casey. With speed, Casey jumped in the air slashed through four guards chest and throat with accuracy. The remaining guards opened fire at her as she deflected the bullets with her katana.  A couple of bullets penetrated her right arm and left leg and stomach as she went down.

Agent X screamed as he punched one guard clear in the jaw and took his semi automatic weapon and shot him in the head. Agent X charged, opening fire, taking out twenty-five armed men. Dax got behind the Commander and placed the gun to his head.

The Commander was pulled back."What are you doing, Major?"

"Relax, it will be all over soon." Dax shot him in the head. 

Dax covered Agent X taking out the rest of the guards. Agent X picked up Casey as she was bleeding from the gut half conscious. 

"X..." Casey said in a soft tone.

"I'm gonna get you out of here." Agent  X looked ahead for the exit door.

Dax fired his gun as the door shut. "You two get out of here." I will hold them off."

Agent X turned to Dax with a raised eyebrow."Come with us."

Dax pushed against the door. "This is as far as I will go. Go, save your girl." Dax pulled out a black small device with a red button. 

Agent X nodded and ran out with Casey through the exit door. As Agent X and Casey escaped the facility, there was a loud explosion as the flames spread, consuming everything in its path.
