In outer space, it's a littke hard to launch fireworks, so ships tend the shoot the main cannons as asteroids as fireworks, and it's quite beautiful. However, if you like going over the top, you would love to be on the Johnson farm, as fireworks the size of a scorpion class tank are launched into the air, for shits and giggles.

"Clear the field!" A voice shouted, as a bright light shot into the sky, going higher than what the police would allow, but this farm was the exception.

"Count with me! 3!"

"3!" A chorus of voices shouted out, the result of over 20 people shouting out.

"2!"

"1!"

"Avery, how did you get these?" A figure in light blue armor said.

"What do you mean get them?" A Man covered in soot, a bottle of beer in one hand, cigar in the other. "My wife made 'em."

"Oh no."

"Oh yes."

"Cali why did you make a firework that big?"

A woman covered in more soot than her husband giggled. "I wanted Jayson's first 4th of July to be special." A little bundle looked up to see the firework, then try to grab it. "No little blue Jay, you can't touch the pretty fire." The little baby made a pouty face as he hugged Skyla.

"Next!" Avery shouted. "Here, hold my beer." He said as he handed the bottle to Rex. "Don't drink it. I'll know. Never drink a man's beer."

Rex pouted as he held his dad's beer, looked at it, then looked at Lily. "Thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Oh yeah."

Avery opened a box, and pulled out a massive tube. "David, do the honors." Said bound man pointed his finger, and a spark of lightning hit the fuse. "FIREING!" Avery shouted as he threw the tube upwards, the pushed the magnet inside up at massive speeds.

Allow me to explain why Washington was here. Avery was persuaded (read as tortured) to allow David to spend time with them. Avery agreed, under the condition that he was bound up tightly. Let me now explain how tightly he was bound. 4 coils of heavy wire, thick rope, and covered in duck tape. And by covered, I mean he could only move his left hand and his head.

He wasn't going anywhere. He was also blindfolded on the way there, to keep the location from him.

"Can I please eat?" He asked, to then have an apple shoved in his mouth. "Thanks." He muffled around the apple. "I feel like a roasting pig."

"Be glad I'm feeding you." Avery said, to then take a picture of David's predicament. "3, 2, 1."

As he said that, the firework exploded.

"This is going to be a good year." He said as he took his beer from Rex, not seeing the giggles that the prankster and the esper were struggling to hold in. Avery tipped back the beer, to then stop and look at it. "Rex?"

"Oh shit. Lily's idea!"

"You little shit!" Lily shouted. "It was his idea Uncle Avery!"

"What did you two do?"

"We might have put ghost pepper extract in it."

The two kids braced for a shouting of a life time, only to hear a sigh. They looked at each other, then Avery, who was chugging the bottle like a pro. When he had finished, he threw the bottle in the trash.

"Next time, use something hotter." The two looked at each other, then at Avery, who was now eating a whole ghost pepper. "These are my favorite snacks, besides cherrys."

"Okay dad." Rex said as he walked away. "Come on Lily, let's go prank someone else!"

The normally blank girl perked up and chased after him. "Coming!" She said.

Skyla walked up to Avery and handed him some yogurt. Avery nodded, amd downed the whole thing. "He is so oblivious."

"Yup. Like someone else we know."

"David?"

"You."

Avery panicked. "What do you mean I'm oblivious!" Skyla just smirked and walked away to where she put Jayson down.

Tex and Carolina where also there, chatting for once. But it was about the cute baby between them. "What was his full name again Skyla?"

"Jayson Oscar Johnson." Skyla said as she picked him up. "An old freind of Avery's came up with the name. And it fit perfectly."

"Who?" Carolina asked.

"He didn't tell me. Just said he was a hunter and a war hero."

"His initials, they spell JoJo, if you use the first two letters of your last name." Tex said.

"That's a nice nickname, but I prefer my little blue Jay." Skyla said.

Avery walked over, and wrapped his arm over Skyla's shoulder.

"Looks like things are shaping up to be an interesting year." He said, before chugging a bottle of whisky. The whole group looked up to the stars, as fire works exploded across the sky. "Who wants crabs?"
