It's been a few years since the Battle against the Titans. Since then, a lot has happened. With the Justice League, Avengers, X-Men, Autobots, the Ninja, and getting the Butterfly Miraculous back. The Guardians of Arcadia were a band of humans, Trolls, and aliens who live and protects their town from threats. They would usually deal with magical threats. Sometimes they would get help from Justice League Dark. One threat was Wanda's hex over Westview but was taken care of. The other threat was the Scarlet Witch attacking the Multiverse which was dealt with by Doctor Strange, John Constantine, and Silver the Hedgehog. Of course, there were other events like Hawkeye and Green Arrow, Moon Knight and Batman, Black Panther, King Shark, and Wildcat, Thor and Wonder Woman, and Supergirl with the Marvels. There was even Barry Allen the Flash aiding Deadpool and Logan the Wolverine.

Right now, Blinkous was in his library doing some reading and research. His brother and him did some exploring of Earth-Prime after Crisis of Infinite Earths and The Merge to learn about their new world. As the new Elder of Trollmarket, he unfortunately had to give up the Rooster Miraculous and his superhero days. He made his older brother his advisor (mostly to keep an eye on him) to aid him. Now with not much action going on, Blinky spends most time in their library to read over his and brother's work. Suddenly a book mysteriously fell off of the shelves.

"Hmm?" Blinky said as he picks it up and doesn't recognize it.

Blinky then takes a look at it to see it was about magical creatures and their cultures. As he flips through the pages, he comes across a section about witches. Now they certainly had dealt with witches like Morgana. As he reads, he then saw there was a mention of the Witches' Road. He heard of it. A place where witches believed that if they reached the end, a witch may find what's missing. He wonders about seeing it if it was real. Unfortunately he's not a witch and doesn't have a coven to access it. Suddenly he gets a tingle. As if magic was happening. This was powerful magic. One of his new abilities was sensing big and powerful magic being done. He closes his eyes to concentrate on finding the source. He looks deeper as he sees. It was coming from Westview. He closes his book and goes off to tell the others.

"Hah!" Toby shouts as he beats up a training dummy.

Lately he's been a bit upset. He's always felt like he was the sidekick. Even when he got to protect Arcadia with his friend, he still didn't feel like it was enough. Aarghaumont then approached him.

"Wingman sad?" Aarghaumont asked.

"Yeah... lately, I've been wishing to have my own adventure. A day I don't have to rely on Jim or Marinette. One that I don't have to be like the sidekick." Toby said.

"Mmm... protected Arcadia." Aarghaumont reminded Toby.

"That's different. I want an adventure out there. Not in Arcadia." Toby said.

"Guys! I sensed magic being in played. In Westview." Blinky said to the Trollhunters.

"Westview? Isn't that where Wanda did her hex spell?" Claire said.

"The Scarlet Witch survived?" Draal asked.

"I don't know. But powerful magic was recently done there." Blinky said.

"Then we'll have to go to investigate." Jim said.

"Sounds good to me." Rykarr said.

"Wait! We don't know if it's that serious. I could do it with AAARRRGGHH!!!. And if anything, I can report back to you guys." Toby said.

"I don't know Tobes. If Wanda is back. I should come along." Jim said.

"Please! I can handle this without you and Claire. This is my chance to finally do something without being the sidekick. I can do this. Plus, I'll have AAARRRGGHH!!!." Toby said.

Jim looks hesitant but looks at Blinky who nods to him. He sighs in giving in.

"Fine. But at least take Blinky with you." Jim says to his friend.

"Do not worry, Master Jim. Tobias is in good hands." Blinky said.

"Well, good luck brother." Dictatious said.

"Not so fast, brother. You're coming along with us." Blinky said.

"What?! Why?" Dictatious asked.

"So I can keep an eye on you." Blinky said.

"Ha! You can't make me. I'm the older brother." Dictatious said.

"You may be older but I'm the Elder of Trollmarket and you'll be coming with me." Blinky said to his brother.

"Ugh. Fine." Dictatious said in defeat.

New Jersey

The team portals to New Jersey as Blinky drove the minivan to Westview. The Trolls were currently in human form thanks to some special amulets they were now wearing. Blinky was happy to be at the hands of an automobile once again too.

"So... Blinky, I was wondering... did you Trolls have any other dangerous foes besides King Gunmar, Bular, Angor Rot, Morgana, and Queen Nerissa?" Toby asked.

"Not really." Blinky said.

"Seriously brother? What about Agatha Harkness—" Dictatious speaks as Blinky shuts him up.

"Shhh!" Blinky shushes him.

"Who's Agatha Harkness?" Toby asked.

"Salem Witch. Scary woman." Aarghaumont the Krubera Troll stuttered in fear.

"Agatha Harkness is a witch from the Salem days. A power-hungry witch who takes power for herself. She even killed her own coven for their power. She is a danger to all magical creatures. Orcs, Werewolves, Dragons, Trolls, Monsters, Hellhounds, Sharklopians, Manotaurs, Gargoyles, and much more." Blinky explained.

"Whoa... she sounds messed up." Toby said.

"Not only that, but Agatha once fought Bular once and nearly won." Blinky said.

"Wait what?! Seriously?" Toby said in disbelief.

"Oh yes... she would've won if his Changelings didn't back him up." Blinky said. "After that, no one has seen her in years. Witches like her live long like us Trolls."

"Wow." Toby said.

They arrived at Westview as they began to search around for the magic source. That's when they stumbled upon Agatha and Teen.

"Agatha Harkness." Blinkous said in hate.

"I'm sorry. Do I know?" Agatha said.

"Perhaps not with me in this form to protect myself but I know you anywhere, witch." Blinky said.

"Wait... that voice. I recognize that voice anywhere. Blinkous Galadrigal." Agatha said with a chuckle. "Aren't you suppose to be a Troll?"

"Still am. This is just a form I take when needing to go out in the sun." Blinky said as Agatha sees Dictatious.

"Ah. You must be his twin and older brother I once heard him mention." Agatha said.

"Yep. That's me. Nice to meet you. We actually never met." Dictatious said to her.

"So you're Agatha Harkness? Not what I expected." Toby said seeing her pretty as Morgana.

"And you are?" Agatha said looking at the boy.

"Oh. I'm Toby. And this is my wingman, Aarghaumont or AAARRRGGHH!!! for short." Toby said introducing his best friend.

"Hello." Aarghaumont said to the witch.

"I haven't seen Trolls in the last... few years, I believe? I actually had two Gumm-Gumm Trolls I made my servants once. But then they crumbled apart, letting me know that Gunmar was dead. Killed by a human Trollhunter. Heh, can't believe that old fossil made a human kid his champion." Agatha said with a smirk. "Too bad he's dead."

"So what are you up to now, witch?" Blinky demands.

"Oh, we're gonna walk The Witches' Road." Teen said.

As soon as Blinky heard that made his eyes widened in surprise. He was just reading about the Witches' Road and to hear that these two are going to walk The Road! Coincidence?

"The Road is real?" Blinky asks shocked.

"Oh you bet it is, Agatha has even been there and back." Teen said surprising them more.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Dictatious asked.

"Oh, I'm the one who freed Agatha from Wanda's spell." Teen said.

"You?" Toby said surprised.

"Yeah. Just a spell I was able to use from my spellbook." Teen said.

"Coven needed?" Aarghaumont asked.

"Yes, my friend is correct. Don't you need a coven tio get to The Road?" Blinky asked.

"Yes, which is what Teen and I were going to do. Gather a coven." Agatha said.

"Hey, maybe you guys should tag along? It would cool to have Trolls with us." Teen suggested.

"Oh, I don't have we—"

"Umm... brother? Sidebar." Dictatious said as they huttled together.

"Brother, do you not understand that this is an opportunity to explore something that no one really sees? The Witches' Road could give us what is missing in our lives." Dictatious said to his brother.

"Plus, we'll get to keep an eye on her." Toby added.

"Fine, guess we're coming too." Blinky said to her.

"Okay. Well, let's go." Agatha said as she continued walking and passed Dictatious.

"Ahh..." Dictatious sighs as he was falling in love with her.

"Are you seriously falling in love with her?" Blinky asked.

"What? I kinda dig the bad ones. Like me." Dictatious said as he follows her.

"Oh brother..." Blinky sighs as he regrets bringing his brother.

Soon they were now driving out of Westview to search for a coven.

"Am I even going in the right direction..." Teen asked as he drives.

"Be cool, man." Agatha said to him.

[♪ phone ringing "On My Mind" by Blackhand] Teen's phone rings showing his boyfriend calling. He then hangs up.

"Sorry. He worries." Teen says to them.

"Aw!" Agatha says in sorta of a mocking tone.

"So where do we just find a coven?" Teen asked.

"Yeah, I mean, it's not like we can use the internet to find some witches." Toby said.

"Wherever you are, a coven there shall be." Agatha said.

"That's beautiful." Teen said.

"No. It's definitely not. But it is the Covenstead Rule. Within any three-mile radius, there will be a collection of witchy-enough people to form a coven." Agatha said.

"Really? Wow. That's cool." Toby said.

"Can you actually jot that down for me? There's a pen in the glove compartment." Teen said to her.

"Oh. Okay. Of course." Agatha said as she gets it. "Will this be..."

"Yeah. Perfect." Teen said.

"Okay." Agatha said as she threw it out the window.

"Rude." Blinky said.

"Right." Teen said in acceptance.

"Do you want me to take that?" Agatha asked.

"No, it's... I'll remember it." Teen said as he focused on driving. "So, with a Covenstead, it's unlikely we'll find witches as high-profile as you."

"Yeah, there's no such thing, Teen. You know, but all we need is a bit of talent. Even the most down-and-out witches, when in close proximity with each other, bring out a magical spark." Agatha explained.

"Wow..." Toby said in awe as Blinkous and Aarghaumont were not liking this.

"Ah. Stop." Agatha said to Teen.

"What?" Teen asked.

"Here. Now." Agatha said.

They parked near a building that read: Madame Calderu Psychic Reading.

"Psychic reading? Aren't most people like these cons? You think there's a real witch in there?" Toby asked.

"We'll see if she knows the secret handshake." Agatha said as the group looked surprised. "No."

"I feel really optimistic about this." Teen said.

They then entered the building to get a very psychic theme vibe of the place.

"Welcome to the curious." A woman said who must be Lilia Calderu.

[Southern accent] "Good day, madam. Oh. Thank you so much for seein' us. We are hopin' for a miracle today. This is my boy, Beauford." Agatha said as he shuts Teen's mouth. "He doesn't talk much. He's got social anxiety. His daddy recently passed, and we miss him somethin' awful. And we surely would love to commune with him today. But to be quite frank with you, what is top of mind is the location of some gold bars he may or may not have buried in our backyard." Agatha said.

"Please." Lilia said offering them a seat.

"Thank you. You're a doll." Agatha said.

"How will you be paying?" Lilia asked.

"Oh. He's got it." Agatha says.

"Debit works." Lilia said.

"He always takes care of Mama. Hurry up, though. Okay?" Agatha said as Teen pays.

Once Teen paid, Lilia began to use her crystal ball.

"Your husband was a proud man." Lilia said.

"Oh. Indeed, he was." Agatha said.

"Did he golf?" Lilia asked.

[gasps] "He died on the 18th hole. Oh. She's good. Now, the location of those gold bars?" Agatha said.

Lilia vocalize as she uses her "magic".

"You'll find the gold bars in an old bowling bag at the back of his closet." Lilia said.

"Yes! That's it. Thank you. Thank the lady, would you, please, Beauford?"

"There's something else." Lilia said.

"What is it?" Blinky asked.

"You've been under the influence of another. Someone you hurt." Lilia said towards Agatha.

"Ah!" Agatha chuckled.

"They took your agency. For three years. It's not the first time your witch kin betrayed you. But you survive. In a way few do. In fact, that's why you're here. And I am not interested." Lilia said.

"Wait, what?" Toby said surprised.

"Thank you for your purchase. Your bank statement will say "Lilia's Leggings," but that's just my side hustle." Lilia said.

[sighs in relief] [regular voice] "Lilia." Agatha said as they followed her. "Oh, you haven't even heard the pitch."

[chuckles] "I don't need to. What witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness' coven?" Lilia said to them.

[gasps] Teen gasped in a dramatic way.

"Not looking for right-minded witches, as it happens." Agatha said.

Suddenly Lilia began to scream as if she was attacked.

"Looks like we came to the right place." Dictatious whispered to his brother.

"Are you all right, ma'am?" Teen asked.

Lilia grunts as she makes herself tea.

"So you're a bit of a kook. Every witch has their process." Agatha said as Lilia starts the kettle. "You showed some real skill out there."

"I didn't read your fortune. I read your reputation." Lilia said.

"Oh!" Agatha chuckled.

"Witches like you are the reason people think we poison apples, and steal children, and eat babies." Lilia said.

"Babies are delicious." Agatha said.

"Ugh!" Lilia groaned.

"How old are you? 410? 415?" Agatha asked.

"How dare you!" Lilia said insulted.

"Oh, I apologize. You don't look a day under 450." Agatha said.

"Years old?" Teen said surprised.

"Wow. You're younger than us." Blinky said to her.

"And you are?" Lilia said.

"Blinkous Galadrigal. This is my brother and Aarghaumont. Trolls we are." Blinky introduced themselves.

"Oh and I'm Toby. 100% human." Toby said.

"Trolls? Haven't seen any Troll since olden days." Lilia said surprised to be engaging Trolls.

"You get, what, maybe two suckers a day in here, and 20 bucks later, you're sitting on a bed that's also your wall. Don't you miss the glory days?" Agatha said.

"When I was chased out of every village I passed through for accurately predicting tragedy? No, I do not. Beat it, Harkness." Lilia said.

"I'm gonna walk The Road." Agatha said.

That made Lilia freeze as she looks at her with a serious look.

"The Road is a death wish." Lilia said seriously.

"I survived." Agatha said.

"Yeah? Where's your power now?" Lilia said.

"Time to restock. I need a Divination Witch." Agatha said.

"Are you honestly asking me to coven up with the single most infamous witch on this continent?" Lilia said.

"Oh, please. Name a badder bitch in South America, or Europe." Teen said.

"Who is this child?" Lilia asked.

"I'm..."

"My pet. This is my pet. Say hi, pet." Agatha said.

"Hi." Teen said.

"You expect me to risk my life on the Witches' Road, and if we're successful..."

"When." Agatha said.

"If we're successful, watch you turn around and steal my power?"

[Agatha clears throat] Excuse me. So, little-known... No, don't worry about it. It's fine. It's just us. Little-known fact about my ability... I can't steal your magic unless you blast me with it." Agatha whispered to Lilia who looked surprised along with Toby and the Trolls. "So if you show a little self-restraint, which, let's be honest, you're gonna need to, all that power is yours to keep. "

"I found this on your door." Agatha said holding up an Eviction Notice paper.  "The path you're currently on leads nowhere. Join me."

"Us." Teen corrected.

"And return to your former clairvoyant glory." Agatha said as Lilia takes the paper.

"If you people stay any longer, I'm going to have to start charging you again." Lilia said.

Suddenly, the groom darkens as the kettle whistles as the electricity crackles.

"What is happening?" Toby asks.

"Witchcraft." Agatha says with a smile.

Lilia uses her magic as she wrote a list for them in a trace. The kettle stops, whistling as the lightbulbs popped, making the room dark.

"Three of Pentacles. There. A list of four names. Looks like you've got your coven. Leave me out of it." Lilia said.

"You're on here." Agatha said.

[Teen scoffs]

"What?" Lilia says shocked.

"Can't say no to you. Agatha's address." Teen said leaving a paper.

"Be there at 5:00. Plenty of street parking." Agatha said as they left Lilia in the dark.

"That was amazing. And we got a team roster out of the deal, too. So who's next?" Teen said.

[crow cawing]

Agatha and Blinky then heard a crow cawing. They turn to see it. Both get a strange and unsettling, feeling as if it was watching them. But not only that, but also a dark feeling from it.

"Agatha?"

"Blinky?"

Agatha and Blinky snapped out of it.

"What?" Agatha said.

"Who's next on the list?" Toby asked.

"Uh..." Agatha looks at the list to see who's next. "Ugh!"

In a shop was a woman showing off a candle to two women.

"Taste." The woman said.

Both women chuckle nervously.

"I'm being serious, ladies." The woman said as she tasted it with the ladies taking a taste. "Mmm. Divine, right?"

"So good." The first woman said surprised.

"Yum." The second woman said liking it.

"I know. My probiotic candles are perfect for both ambiance and metabolic regulation. I am obsessed with these. Especially because you do have to burn them before ingestion. It's an FDA thing. But also, mandatory zen time!"

[shop doorbell dings]

"Hey! Where do you keep your jade eggs? I'm fresh out of marbles, and my pelvic floor is all over the place." Agatha said to the woman who glares at her. "Actually, you gals wanna go splitsies on one? Hmm? Anyone? Anyone? Sisterhood of the traveling Kegels? No? No?"

Door opens and closes as the two women left.

"Hi, Jen!" Agatha said to Jennifer.

"God, Agatha! I haven't seen you since I made a really pointed effort to never run into you again." Jen said to her.

[laughs sarcastically] "So good." Agatha said.

"How are you? Awful?" Jen said.

"I'm assembling a coven. I need a Potions guy. We're gonna walk The Road." Agatha said.

[scoffs] "You're serious? It's a dead end. Literally." Jen said.

"Oh, come on, Jen. I'm offering you the chance to finally lift the binding spell that has kept you magic-less for the last... What, century?" Agatha said.

"You look amazing." Toby said.

"I know. What do you care about my magic?" Jen asked.

"I..." [grunts] Agatha.

"Oh! You lost the Darkhold, and now you're powerless and exposed. How far you've fallen, witch killer." Jen said.

"At least I'm still a witch." Agatha said back.

"Like I care about that dusty, warty, snaggle-toothed community." Jen said.

"Oh, you don't fool me. You'd chew off your own acrylics to get back into the club. Ugh! I'm not gonna waste my breath illuminating the obvious. Have fun healing the healthy." Agatha said.

"Hi. I love your Insta page, by the way. You totally minimized the size of my pores." Teen said.

"Who's this? Another child sacrifice?" Jen asked.

"I'm really sorry about your recent legal troubles." Teen said showing her his phone.

"Yes, I'm aware." Jen said.

"Fraudulent misrepresentation resulting in consumer injury." Agatha read.

"I personally would not consider superficial burns "injury," but apparently, some people needed skin grafts." Teen said.

"Oh, Jen!" Agatha gasps.

"I haven't been convicted of anything." Jen said.

"Yet. Historically, we as a group don't do well in courtrooms." Agatha said.

"The charge has a surprisingly lenient penalty, just, like, payouts and maybe, like, five years in prison. But 800 counts of it?" Teen said.

Agatha gasped dramatically.

"Starts to get a little life-y!" Teen chuckles.

"Wait. So you're magically bound, and you're about to get literally bound." Agatha said.

"None of this pedestrian drama would be an issue for a powered-up witch." Teen said.

"You think I haven't tried everything to unbind, you freaky little miscreant?" Jen said a little mad.

"Hey!" Agatha said as she "protects" Teen.

"You've tried everything but The Road. If you value your freedom, join us here, tonight." Teen said giving her Agatha's address.

"Oh! Gonna take a jade egg to go." Agatha said taking a jade egg as they left. "You'll know where to find it."

"Two down. Two to go." Teen said happy.

"Uh, just one, actually." Agatha said.

"What?" Aarghaumont said confused.

"Yeah." Agatha said.

"Lilia said four names." Toby said.

"No." Agatha said pulling the list away from them.

"Let me see. Let me see." Teen said as he tried to read the list.

"What are you..." Toby said as Agatha eats it.

"Very mature." Blinky said.

"Come on. Wasting daylight." Agatha said.

"Okay." Teen says as they head off.

"I can't believe you actually ate that." Dictatious said.

"Ate what? Now I'm actually hungry. I could use a corn dog." Agatha said.

They were now in the Westview Mall where Agatha was eating a corndog and Dictatious ate a hotdog. Blinky and Toby ate somes tacos as Aarghaumont was eating three burgers, five tacos, and six funnel cakes.

"Do you see her? Do you know what she looks like?" Teen asked.

"She's a Blood Witch." Agatha said.

"Blood Witch?" Aarghaumont said confused.

"A Blood Witch is..." Blinky speaks.

"Child of a witch. In this case, her mom was a witch and also a famous goddess of rock." Agatha tells them as she eats her corndog.

"Lorna Wu? As in Lorna Wu and the Coral Shore?" Teen said surprised.

"Take it easy." Agatha tells Teen.

"She wrote the most famous version of the Ballad. My mom went to see her last tour right before she died. RIP. I bid on a limited edition signed LP of the Ballad, but it cost more than I make in a whole summer at the Hokey Pokey Bowl." Teen explained.

"I don't wanna ever hear those words paired together again." Agatha said.

[rat squeaking]

As Agatha and Dictatious go to eat more, a rat squeaks as it was seen. Once again, Agatha getting an unsettling feeling from it. Same with Dictatious as he could feel it looking at his eyes.

"Let's go." Agatha said as they go.

"You're just gonna... Fine." Toby says as he throws her trash away.

"You think we're gonna find Lorna Wu's daughter at the Westview Mall? I feel like she'll be somewhere cooler, like Brooklyn or a yacht." Teen said as they check out some accessories in a store.

"Rumor has it Lorna Wu was lost to the Witches' Road." Agatha said.

"What?" Teen said surprised.

"I know. Ironic." Agatha said as Aarghaumont tried on some star-shaped glasses.

"More like iconic." Teen laughed.

"No." Agatha said.

"I know I have an aesthetic, but what are we doing here?" Teen asked as Agatha slips some glasses into his pocket.

"Run." Agatha tells him.

"Run?" Teen asked.

"Run!" She said again.

Teen then runs as the security guard trips him.

"Whoa!" Teen shouts as the security guard pins him to the floor as the alarm started beeping.

"Alice Wu Gulliver? I'm Agatha Harkness. This is my familiar, Toto and my minions." Agatha said introducing herself with Teen and the Trollhunters. "We need a Protection Witch to join us on the Witches' Road. What do you say?"

"What?" Alice said confused.

"Gulliver!" A guard shouts.

"Oh! Sir, this woman just assaulted my nephew!" Agatha lied.

"Did you just tackle a teenager?" He said.

"Yeah, I saw them lift something." Alice said.

"No, he didn't touch anything. Check his pockets." Agatha said.

"Search me." Teen said.

"He didn't do anything, sir." Agatha said.

"Your old lieutenant convinced me to give you a shot, but you've been nothing but bad luck. You're fired." The guard said.

They then followed Alice out of the shop.

"What divine intervention is this? You're out of a job and we're setting off for The Road today." Agatha said to Alice as they followed her.

"People like you are dangerous." Alice said.

"Agreed. But The Road?" Dictatious said.

"The Road isn't real. You groupies don't get it. It's just a stupid song." Alice said.

"Um, forty million copies worldwide beg to differ. The Road is real. Agatha's been there." Teen said.

"And back." Agatha added.

"The Road is a myth. It's a con. A cult." Alice said.

"Yeah. But what if it isn't? What if you could finally answer the question that has been haunting you for most of your life?" Agatha said to her. "What happened to Mommy?"

Alice then pushed them aside as she left.

"She's a tough nut to smash." Agatha said.

"Crack." Blinky corrects her.

[sighs exasperatedly] "I didn't even get to give her your address." Teen said.

"We don't need her. Come on." Agatha said to them as she shoves some boys out of her way.

They were now driving back to Agatha's house.

"We've got about an hour until sunset. Are you sure two witches are enough?" Teen asked.

Agatha sighs.

"How far away is The Road? Like, what's the drive time?" Teen asked.

"Where are you from?" Agatha asked.

"Me? Originally? I mean, I was born and raised in Eastview..." [continues inaudibly] Teen.

For some reason none of them could hear him. Agatha snaps her fingers and turns on the radio.

[♪ music through radio playing audibly "There's a Road" by Kinney]

She turns radio switches off as they still didn't hear him until he finished.

[audibly] "It's nice to get to know each other a little bit." Teen said.

Agatha and the others gave him a blank look.

"Drive faster." Agatha said.

"What? Okay." Teen said as he hits the gas.

Agatha Harkness and Dictatious Galadrigal are then seen outside looking around.

[coyote howls]

The two then sees a coyote staying in the middle of the road looking at them. Again, both get an unsettling feeling from the coyote.

They then head back inside as Teen and Toby make a welcoming sign for the witches.

"Don't be nervous. They'll show. I know it. Does this look centered?" Teen said.

"Let me see. Maybe if I just put it a little more to the..." Agatha said as she ripped it down.

"No, leave it up. It really elevates the space." Jen said as she saw she the first one here. "Oh, God, am I the first to arrive?"

"The rest will be here soon." Teen said.

"Please come in. Right, Agatha?" Blinky said.

"I don't care. Yeah, whatever she would like." Agatha mumbles.

"Can I interest you in a pre-Road appetizer? They are... old granola bars. I didn't have much to work with." Teen admits.

"I ate before I came." Jen said as Lilia walked in.

"Oh, I don't mind a lapsed expiration date." Lilia said taking a piece and looked at Jen. "High priestess."

"Jennifer Kale, Potions." Jennifer Kale said introducing herself.

"Lilia Calderu, Divination." Lilia Calderu said introducing herself as well. "You're bound."

"And you need a chemical peel." Jen said back.

"This is never gonna work."

They turn around to see Alice there.

"Your front door is missing." Alice said.

"Alice! How did you..." Toby said.

"I'm an ex-cop. That's gonna be the answer to a lot of questions." Alice said.

"Well, gang's all here. Let's hit The Road." Agatha said.

"Wait. Where's our Green Witch?" Jen asked.

"Oh, do we really need one of those?" Agatha said.

"Of course we do." Lilia said.

"Says who?" Agatha asked.

"The Ballad. "Wake thy power, earthly and divine." Jen said quoting the Ballad.

"No, I've heard it." Agatha said.

"Earth magic is arguably the most important skill set for an attempt at The Road." Jen says to her.

"Getting cold feet already, Jen?" Agatha says.

"Well, there was one more name on the coven list. Wasn't there?" Teen said.

"Care to explain?" Blinky said.

"Lilia's handwriting is so bad..." Agatha lies.

"What was the last name?" Teen asked Lilia.

"It wasn't a name. It was a heart." Lilia said.

"A heart?" Alice said confused.

"A black heart." Lilia said.

"That's because you used a black pen." Agatha chuckles.

The group just looked at her as she scoffs.

"Oh! I know who it is. I'll just go get her. Be back in a flash." Agatha said as she left.

"I'll come too." Dictatious said as he followed her.

They walked over to an elder woman who was tending her garden.

"Yoo-hoo!" Agatha said as it got her attention.

"Agnes?" The woman said. "Well, you look fabulous!"

"Thank you, Mrs. Hart." Agatha said to her.

"No, no, no. It's Mrs. Davis, dear. No." She said.

"Oh, right." Agatha said.

"Mrs. Hart was what Wanda branded me, you know." She said.

"Oh!" [shushes] Agatha.

"My name is Sharon. I know you get confused sometimes but my real name is Sharon." Sharon said.

"Right. Well, there's no time for details. Oh, have I commented on how beautiful your garden is recently?" Agatha said looking at her garden.

"Well, no, you have not." Sharon says.

[both laugh]

"It's just me and my green thumb. But I'll tell you the secret to fluffy azaleas." Sharon said.

"So, we were just wondering if you'd like to come to a little party Agatha is having tonight." Dictatious said cutting her off.

"A party? [gasps] Really?" Sharon said.

"Yeah!" Agatha said.

"I haven't been to a party since Mr. Davis passed away..." Sharon explains.

"Are you in or you out, Hart?" Agatha asked impatient.

"Oh, well, I think I'm just... I'm gonna grab my purse. Oh, a party!" Sharon said.

Soon they were all down at Agatha's basement.

"Should I get the car? Some people might need to squeeze in the back." Teen said.

"You don't drive to The Road, Teen. The Road is conjured." Agatha said.

"Oh." Teen said.

"So, um, are we doing laundry together?" Sharon asked.

"Why don't you head upstairs and let us just do our thing, okay? Close some windows while you're at it, 'cause it feels a little drafty." Agatha tells the boys and Aarghaumont.

"Okay, but you'll let us know..." Teen asks.

"Yep. Yeah. Scoot. Scoot." Agatha says to them.

She grabs a bell as they form a circle.

"Okay. Okay. Okay. So, all we need to do is sing the Ballad, and a door will appear, and we'll be on our merry way to having all of our magical dreams come true. Okay? All aboard?" Agatha explains.

"So, who's going high?" Jen asked.

"Oh, no, thank you. I don't take drugs." Sharon said.

"She's talking about the harmonies." Alice said.

"I'm an alto is all I'm saying." Jen said.

"Oh well, I do have quite the singing voice. Not to brag." Blinky chuckles.

"Get off me!" Lilia shouts surprising everyone.

[Agatha clears throat]

Meanwhile upstairs, Teen, Toby, and Aarghaumont were closing the windows as they saw Agatha's bunny.

"Hey, I got you." Teen said picking up the bunny. "It's okay, buddy."

Suddenly they began to hear children talking indistinctly along with disembodied voices whispering.

Teen, Toby, and Aarghaumont go outside to see a black hooded figure standing in the road as a bro sees it too.

The hooded figure turns out to be not just one, but seven of them in total as they appear. This scares the neighbor as he drops his groceries and runs off into his house.

"Oh, no." Teen said as they looked worried.

The seven hooded witches glared as they were getting closer as Teen, Toby, and Aarghaumont rushed back inside the house.

Agatha throws the bell as they then grabbed hangs towards as they get deep into the Ballad.

Teen looks out the window and sees them getting closer as he then shuts it.

Aarghaumont helps Toby push the couch as Teen helps them use it to barricade the entrance as they saw them closer to the entrance.

"No, no, no." Teen said as they then blocked the entrance and sees them gone.

They finished the Ballad as they look around for the door and don't see it.

"Huh." Agatha said. "Some feedback for you. It did not take this long last time."

"Well, if they weren't so pitchy." Jen said looking at Lilia and Blinky.

"Says the voice flatter than a pancake." Lilia said back.

"Everyone is a critic." Blinky said.

"Yeah, did you not hear you? 'Cause the voice does not match the dress." Alice said to Jen as they began to argue.

"Do not insult me. I have perfect pitch." Lilia said as they argued.

"No, no, no. I thought we sounded great." Sharon said.

Teen breathing heavily as they closed all the windows and doors.

"Okay. Okay." Teen sighed in relief.

[voice whispering] "Agatha Harkness..." A voice whispered in the air.

Teen, Toby, and Aarghaumont see smoke coming out from a vent.

"Agatha!" The voice screamed as one of the witches tried to grab Teen through one of the windows.

"Oh, my God! Oh, my God!" Teen screamed as he ran.

The women and Trolls the hear objects rattling upstairs.

"What's going on up there?" Alice asks looking up.

"Are there any real witches in the house? Because all I see are has-beens and could've-beens." Agatha said.

"You recruited us." Lilia said.

"And I was a fool. You can forget the Witches' Road. I'd die before letting you befoul it with your noxious mediocrity." Agatha said.

This starts to upset the Witches and two Trolls.

[scoffs] "What a team of rejects. Coward. Fraud. Disappointment." Agatha mocks them as Lilia, Alice, Dic, and Blinky's magic sparks up. "I'd say you should burn like the rest of them but that would be a waste of kindling."

"Enough." Lilia said.

"You need to shut up." Jen said.

"Go to hell!" Alice said.

"Make me!" Agatha taunts as the house shakes.

"Wait! This is a power grab. She wants us to attack her." Lilia said.

"What?" Agatha says innocently.

"You brought us here hoping our proximity, coupled with your cruelty, would get you a spark you could steal. You had no intention of bringing us on The Road." Lilia said.

"It's not my fault only a true coven can open the door." Agatha taunts.

[rumbling]

"Oh, I don't have time for this! Just blast me, you bitches!" Agatha shouts.

"What is that?" Sharon said pointing at the floor.

Agatha and the others looked down to see that a door had appeared.

"Was that there before?" Jen asked.

"No." Dictatious said.

"Open it." Lilia said.

Rumbling intensifies as disembodied voices screamed into the air.

"Oh, my God!" Toby screams.

No!" Teen said as they turned around to see one of the witches inside and snarls at them.

"Agatha!" Teen screams as the three run to the basement.

Agatha goes to open the door as the others helps her open it. Inside was a spiral of stairs going down. Agatha picks up some dust to see that it was real.

"Agatha-a-a-a-a-a..!!"

Agatha and the others turn to see Teen, Toby, and Aarghaumont coming down in a rush and panic.

"Is this it? Is this The Road? Because we should really, really go, like, right now." Teen shouts as he, Toby, and Aarghaumont go down the stairs with no hesitation.

[disembodied screams approaching]

"No, thank you." Jen said as she goes down the stairs with Lilia behind her.

"I'm with her!" Blinky said as he follows behind Lilia.

"No way I'm sticking around for whatever that is." Alice said going down too.

"Well, I..." Sharon says.

"What does your gut tell you?" Agatha asked Sharon as they heard the screams again.

"Oh." Sharon said as she goes down too.

"Good choice." Dictatious said to her as she sings the Ballad.

Agatha and Dictatious go down the stairs too as they go to close the doors. As they do, one of the black witches crawled down the stairs screeching at them.

"Ahh!" Agatha grunts as they closed the doors seeing Sharon still singing as she goes down the stairs.

♪ Down, down, down The Road... ♪

The doors rattles as the witch screams. Rumbling is heard and suddenly the screaming stops. Agatha and Dictatious look up to see the door was gone and replaced with stone. They sigh in relief as they go down the stairs to join the others. They then turn to see what everyone else was looking at, and in front of them was the Witches' Road!

Agatha looks at Teen who smiles in joy as they did it. Jen and the others looked surprised to see that they were now on the Witches' Road. Agatha then began to take off her shoes. Soon everyone else took off their shoes as respect to the Road.

"I never doubted us for a second." Agatha said as they head down the Road to reach the end. As they walked, their shoes can be seen left behind.
