kaen was the first born son to house florent of paladia. one of the most respectible and wealthy noble houses of the country. he was educated as most lords were by masters, castellans, and tutors. he loved spending time with his family and siblings. as he grew into a man kaen would spend most of his time out hunting, sailing, or traveling. some say he spent too much time on those particular past times however and none on finding a wife. and thus he was practically forced into the selection by his mother and father.

kaen is a natural born leader. a visionary, always planning for the future, as well as a man who holds honor above all else. however while he has these strengths he can also be ruthless willing to do whatever he needs to for his house. he also places high expectations on himself and others.
