a few days had passed since donghyuck's friends visited him.

none of them came back despite saying that they would after thinking about the matter.

renjun didn't either, but that's because donghyuck had forbade him. his friend had already put himself in so much trouble by saying he supported mark and donghyuck's relationship. he should stay with his friends right now.

"sweetie, sit down again please." donghyuck's. mother told her son as he was about to leave the table.

she was calling him 'sweetie' again. this made donghyuck smile wide internally, but he kept his cold facade on.

he had to leave the table the quickest possible. mark had come before dinner, and he was currently alone in donghyuck's room, waiting for his boyfriend to finish eating.

but it seemed like he wouldn't be back so soon.

after the argument, the meals had become silent.

donghyuck would never talk, and if he would, it was to ask for salt or water. nothing more.

at some point, his parents would be tired of the awkward silence and start a conversation about their day, but there was no real dialogue with donghyuck.

today was the first time.

donghyuck sat back facing his empty plate. "what?"

"are you okay?" his mother asked.

donghyuck scoffed.

could he be okay after all the mean things they had done and said to him?

definitely no.

"are you seriously asking that?" he raised a brow. "you're keeping me locked in my house, without being able to see the outside world."

"we can't risk anything until you and that boy break up." his father explained.

donghyuck scoffed again. "and how can we break up if you're keeping my phone? i have no way to tell him about all that!"

"speaking about that..." his mother joined the conversation. "...this boy is definitely not good for you."

"i know. you've been telling that for almost two weeks now." donghyuck snorted.

"you don't understand donghyuck. we want someone perfect for you! not an old biker that doesn't care about our son." she argued.

"when will you understand that he cares about me?!"

"he cares about you?" his father asked rather surprised. "then how can you explain the fact that you, his 'boyfriend', disappeared two weeks ago and that he sent zero messages to you?"

donghyuck rolled his eyes.

"we have your phone, donghyuck. we see the messages you get. and there were no messages from this boy. and that since the day he left you alone at our front door."

of course, there were no messages.

why would mark text him when he knows his parents have donghyuck's phone?

they saw each other in real, that was way better. but could he tell his parents about it?

a big fat no.

"he doesn't deserve your love and admiration, donghyuck." his father concluded.

donghyuck rose to his feet, his chair creaking because of the sudden move.

"then, excuse me, but i'll cry with my loneliness, alone, in my room. good night. don't bother me."

donghyuck stomped his feet on the way to his room, and slammed the door shut to mark his angriness.

"what's happening, baby?" mark – who was playing on his phone, lying on donghyuck's bed – asked.

"i can't deal with my parents anymore. i just want to kill them."

mark chuckled. "chill, baby boy. that's just the period of teenage rebellion."

"this doesn't change the fact that they are two stupid narrowminded donkeys!" donghyuck whined. "i can't stay forever in this house! this is inhuman. at least we can see each other..."

mark smiled, taking his boyfriend in his arms. "let's do something then. when your parents are asleep, what if we sneaked out a bit?"

those words made donghyuck smile immediately, and he didn't wait a second before nodding eagerly.

around one o'clock, when donghyuck could hear loud snores coming out of his parents' room, he rushed back to his own room.

"they're asleep. let's go."

mark chuckled and opened the bay window.

he got down first before making sure donghyuck didn't hurt himself.

once they were both down, mark took donghyuck to his motorbike and helped him dressing up.

"it feels good inhaling fresh outside air..." donghyuck told.

"it sure does." mark pecked his lips before closing the visor of his helmet.

the got on the bolide and mark started the engine when he was sure donghyuck was gripping tight enough to him.

mark drove them around the city, seeing the pubs and clubs opened at such late hour.

donghyuck was enjoying every single second of it.

being on a motorbike provided speed sensations which were amazing, and gripping to your boyfriend while feeling those was just wonderful.

he admired the many street lights that were on, showing another face of the city he knew too well.

bars, pubs, clubs... donghyuck never knew those was active like that.

and the things happening inside seemed cool and fun. he surely had this impression because that was something his parents would never let him do, but he wanted to try them someday.

they journey ended on a big and empty parking, which surprised donghyuck.

"we can climb on that roof and admire the view and the stars from here. it's a beautiful place to be." mark explained, getting off the motorbike.

donghyuck nodded as mark took his helmet off.

mark then lifted his hands to help donghyuck remove his helmet, but he was stopped in his action by a blinding light coming from his right.

the light shut off soon after, revealing seven motorbikes, similar to mark's one, looking at them.

"i was sure that was you, mark." one of the guys said.

the next thing they knew, the seven boys got down of their bolides and took their helmets off.

and who were they?

no one other than mark's friends...
