He won't be able to come to my room whenever he wants.

I looked at the aunt with a happy gaze.

God, I'm so happy today and grateful to have her in my life.

I smirked at the devil but I didn't know my happiness was short-lived as he smirked back at me.

I think he took it as his challenge to meet me but I don't want to meet him. Am I celebrating it too early? What is cooking in his head?

I looked at him with narrowed eyes. “Jane give me your cell phone. Mine is not working,” Nina asked me.

“Huh” I looked at her cluelessly because I was busy in my thoughts.

“Give me your cell mine is not working” she repeated her words.

She wants my cell phone but I don't have it because the devil broke it.

“Hmm, Nina I don't have it” I replied while glancing at the devil. He was eating his breakfast without any concern. Like he was not listening to our conversation.

“Is it in your room?” she asked me.

“No actually it broke yesterday,” I said while angrily eyeing at the devil. He was not even feeling a little bit of guilt for breaking it.

“Then let's get you a new one. I will buy it for you” Sky said. I think Sky's words got his attention. He shorted me a glare waiting for my reply.

So he wants to hear my reply. Like I'm going to refuse Sky.

“Yeah let's go and buy a new one for you and then we three can hang out together after that like the old-time,” Nina said happily.

He is still waiting for my reply. In another scenario, I would have not accepted anything from Sky but today I have to show him that if he breaks my cell phone there are people who are willing to buy me a new one.

“Sounds fun” I replied smiling sweetly at the devil to annoy him.

I will buy it with my own money. Let him think Sky brought it for me. We will spend time together after so long.

“No” we heard the devil saying in between our conversations. We all averted our gaze to him.

As I was expecting. Why he has to butt in my happiness all the time.

“Now what problem you have Adam,” Nina asked him in annoyance.

“Jane's cell phone accidentally broke from my hands so I will go and buy a new cell with her. There is no need for you three to go and buy it,” he said looking straight into my eyes. With a hard voice without even feeling a little guilty about it. Like it was an accident not intentionally done. I gasped at his words.

I know he never feels guilty for whatever he does wrong to me. Yesterday's sorry and concern was masked by a fake apology for his interruption in my and Sky's conversation.

“No it is not needed we will go and buy it,” I said with annoyance. He clenched his jaw in anger at my reply.

See he can change his mood, behavior, and even personality towards me in a split of a second.

“What,” he asked me in his demanding tone daring me to repeat my words.

What does he think I won't repeat my words?

“We will go and buy it you don't have to stress yourself for it after making so much effort to break my previous cell phone. After all, you're such a busy man,” I said in anger but a sweet tone.

“Kids continue your argument I and your aunt need to discuss something important” uncle said.

“And Zanvil remember not meeting Jane alone till your wedding day. Nina, please take care of it” the aunt said in a commanding voice. Nina nodded after that they left.

“Jane is right we don't need negative people around us. We love the positivity in our life so go and spend your time with your negative companies” she said with a smirk plastered on her face. She is enjoying this. She is taunting him over Jack. He was still staring at me with a clenched jaw.

 I'm not afraid of him. Now he can't even come into my room to punish me for not obeying him.

“Girls I will go and take out the car. I'll be waiting outside” Sky gave us a dismissing look and left.

“Let's go Jane and you,” Nina said pointing her finger to Zanvil with narrowed eyes.“If I see you roaming around Jane you're gonna regret that moment of your life,” she said in a threatening tone to him and she started heading outside direction.

It is so funny to see her threatening devil. He is so big compared to her size. She was never afraid of him.

He looked at her with the look you are going to regret for say me those words and then he shot the same gaze at me. I immediately lifted my body and started following Nina because I don't want to take chance with the devil. As soon as I started following her I heard a chair sliding sound and footsteps coming towards me causing my heartbeat to increase.

God what if he catches me and where the hell Nina disappeared.

In a blink of seconds, I was pinned to the wall. Both hands were on either side of my head. He pressed his body with mine and I could feel his hard muscle on my body.

Before I could protest he bends his head down and kissing me hard. His kiss is so possessive. He did even give me a chance to breathe. Freeing my hand he took his hands to my waist pressing his lower body to mine more.

I could feel his erection on my stomach. I gasped at his action and it was an invitation for him to take control over my mouth. He was kissing me like it was my punishment for disobeying him.

God how can I lose control over my body when he touches me like it was never mine like it was always his.

He spared my lips by an inch “Don't you dare to be in the delusion that my mom's little stupid caretaker of yours can save you from me. No one can get away from me after talking to me like that. Special you be ready to face consequences love” he said with determination in his tone and smirk plastered on his face. Hearing his threat I wanted to run away far and hide away from his spine-chilling gaze.

“Enjoy your sweet time till you started regretting your stupid plan of marrying me. Your clock has started moving in the anticlockwise direction,” he said while looking into my eyes. I gulped at his words.

“Jane, Jane where are you” we heard Nina calling my name.

“And I forgot to tell you. Tell your caretaker that she is going to have it too. So excuse me as you mentioned I have lots of work to do” he smirked last time at me and left.

What happened now?

He threatened you stupid. He said you're going to face the serious consequence of marrying him.

“Jane what are you doing standing attached to the wall like it is your bed. Come Sky is waiting for us outside” she started dragging me outside. In the first five minutes, I didn't understand what was happening to me. In the car, I  thought about his words.

What is he planning to do?

God, I'm getting bad vibes.

“Jane where are you lost” I heard Sky's voice.

“Huh,” I replied looking at them.

“See she is like this from the morning,” Nina said in a conforming tone to Sky.

“What happened,” I asked thinking about what they are talking about.

“We are at the mall Nina called your name twice but you didn't respond to her. What happened?” he asked in a concerned voice.

I was thinking about the stupid devil.

“Nothing let's go,” I said with a small smile.

“First let's go and buy your new cell phone,” said Sky.

“Yeah let's go then we can hang out and have lunch together,” Nina said in excitement.

“Jane I can buy that for you” Sky said in a pleading voice.

“No Sky I want to buy it with my own money,” I said while refusing his offer.

He excelled in disappointment and said “OK” making me smiled at him.

We were arguing for the past ten minutes on it and Nina was watching us with patience. I don't know how that miracle was happening Nina being quiet. I have bought the latest model of the iPhone limited edition.

It is so delicate.

With my savings from my internship. I was saving it for buying an apartment for me but now I don't need it and soon I will be working so l can again start saving. I smiled happily when the salesman handed me my new phone. I thanked him with a smile.

“Is your drama over so we can proceed with our plan?” Nina asked dryly.

And she is back.

“Yes it's over let's go,” I said while tugging her arm.

“When will you two stop behaving as teenagers” sky asked us.

“Never,” I said to him sheepishly.

“Look who talking. Some time you behave like a kindergarten child. So stop taunting us” Nina said and stick her tongue out at Sky. We laughed at her.

We three went to the gaming zone where we used to spend time in our old days. And then had lunch together.

Today was so much fun not to mention morning time.

“O you guys are back” we were greeted by aunts' happy faces. I like to see her smiling face.

“Yes, we are. Has the dress arrived aunt?” Nina asked her in excitement.

“Yes, they are. I was waiting for your arrival. Come let's go and see if the fitting is done properly,” she said and started dragging me to try them.

“Aunt I'm tired can we try to remain dress tomorrow” I pleaded with her.

“No, I and Nina are going to buy a few more new dresses for you. So try all of this today so you can try a new one tomorrow” she commanded.

“I don't need new clothes. I have tons of them so please you two let me go” I begged them.

“Are you talking about those outdated clothes? Then for your kind information, I'm throwing them all and replace them with a new one. So shut up and try this cloth” Nina said while handing me my new dress while pushing me to change it.

“What? You are not throwing anything away. I love my old clothes so spare them” I said in a commanding tone.

“See your old clothes for the last time because I'm going to throw them if you agree with me or not. Soon you're going to join the office and I don't want my best friend waking in the corporate world without any fashion sense so shut up and change” she gave me a big lecture not listening to my pleads aunt agreed with her. I looked in my old clothes.

I'm going to miss my comfortable loose clothes.

I said feeling emotional for losing them. It's been more than one hour but still, they are torturing me. “Aunt I'm feeling so thirsty. I will come in a minute after drinking something,” I said and ran without listening to their reply taking my cell phone with me so I can call Sky for help before they catch me and continue my torture.

They are going to buy more new clothes. I'm not going to try any of them. I need a solution for it maybe Sky can help me get out of this situation.

I was jogging with my eyes glued to my mobile screen. “Ouch” I crashed with a scented wall. My cell phone slipped from my hand. I attempted to catch it.

I'm going to lose my new cell phone too.

But a large hand caught it. I let go of my breath which I was holding. I was about to say thank you to the savior of my cell phone. But seeing that person my thoughts went directly to drain.

“Nice phone,” he said while smirking at me. He eyed my phone “You never fail to take expensive gifts from your so-called boys who are your friends right” he said in a double meaning.

He is again calling me a gold digger.

I kept my mouth shut.

I don't need to reply to him he can think whatever he wants to think. I don't give a damn.

“So did he only bought a cell phone for you or something more like jewelry being more precise a bracelet which reminds him of you,” he said in a cold voice. Reminding me of Jack's words which he said while giving me his gift.

So he was eavesdropping on our conversation that day.

His every word was screaming gold digger in my ears but I kept my cool. My eyes started misting. “Give me my cell phone back,” I said in an emotionless voice.

“Are you expecting someone's call?” he asked me suspiciously.

“No,” I said.

“Then what's the hurry,” he said with a smirk.

“Zanvil just hands me my phone I have work to do,” I said in angry.

I don't have time for his rubbishness.

“OK, seems like your busy. You can take your cell phone back,” he said calmly.

Wow, it was fast without any argument.

He extended his hand to handed me my cell. Before I was able to take it from his hand he dropped it from his hand causing the loudest sound of breaking. “Oops, don't you know how to catch. You are so clumsy” he said devilishly smirking at me. He dropped my new phone before I could have taken it.

He bloody broke my new cell phone which I bought from my last savings.

Anger roused in “Stop pretending like it was my fault. You broke my new cell phone too. You are such an evil can't you just see me happy” I shouted with angry tears flowing from my eyes.

I have bought it after saving it for a long time.

“What happened Jane why are you shouting. I just heard the loud noise now” the aunt asked with a worried voice. I turned to see her.

“What happened Jane why are you crying. Zanvil did you do something to her” she asked with a worried expression. Before I could say something he opened his mouth.

“Nothing mom just a couple's quarrel,” he said without any emotion.

Wow, now he is calling us a couple. It will be only in his dreams.

“No, there must be something Jane won't cry on a small issue and why is her cell phone lying on the ground broken,” the aunt asked suspiciously.

Again he didn't give me a chance to say “I didn't want to tell you mom but because you are insisting so much I have no choice,” he said in a calm tone. Like he didn't want to tell her the reason.

What story he wants to tell aunt now. That I'm a gold digger.

I eyed him with anger. “Mom she is angry because I refused to meet her alone. She told me Nina will help us with this but I refused because I did want to upset you. Due to this, she got angry because I didn't show up. In anger she also broke her new cell phone” he said in a sad tone. He looked so innocent while telling it blind people will also believe in him.

I gasped at his words in shock. He is putting all the blame on me. He is framing me as a culprit. Aunt looked at me in disbelief. “Jane I know you both didn't get lots of time with each other and because of which you are angry I can understand that but can't you wait for two days. I know I'm asking you for more because this old aunt wants everything to go smoothly. After knowing your uncle's health issues I'm always afraid that something bad will happen. That's why I told you both to stay away from each other till your marriage day. I know you don't believe in such things but can you do it for me” she said in a pleading way taking my hands in her. Hurt was in her eyes due to my false actions because I have always listened to her.

“What's happening. Why are you crying, Jane?” Nina asked me. I was still crying.

“Nina I want to have a word with you. You know I trusted you that's why I told you not to let them meet but you let them meet. I'm so disappointed in you” the aunt said in a sad tone.

She is hurt after listening to it. Nina's eyes widened in shock. She looked at me and then at the devil. He was smirking after seeing us both in this dilemma. She understood the situation.

“No aunt” she tried to explain to her but aunt stopped her in her sentence.

“I know you guys are grown-up you don't believe in old rituals but for my sake try to follow them,” the aunt said in a sad tone looking at me and Nina, and then she left. I started sobbing.

“Don't worry Jane I will explain to her everything,” Nina said and eyed the devil with pure hate and went after the aunt.

Aunt is said because of me but I did nothing to be in this kind of situation. The person who should be blamed for everything is standing and smirking at my condition.

“Why did you lie to her,” I asked in anger.

“To teach you I never give empty threats when someone disobeys me,” he said still smirking at me.

He hurt us because he wanted to teach me a lesson.

He took his step towards me to take my hand in his hold but I moved back. It made him angry.

I don't care.

“Why are you doing this to me. Are you not satisfied after breaking my new phone. Why the hell you took Nina in this,” I asked in anger.

With a range, he took my body in his possession. I tried to make myself free but he is strong. “No I'm not and your dear friend brought it on herself. I have warned her before,” he said angrily.

I looked at him in disbelief. “Zanvil let me go,” I said angrily while struggling to his grip. But he didn't lose his grip. “Zanvil let me go” I shouted but he was not letting me go. “Why can't you let me go? Why can't you just leave me alone?” I yelled while sobbing tears were continuously flowing from my orbs.

“I tried it, love. But you made my every attempt to go in the drain,” he said with a clenched jaw. I looked at him with glass eyes.

What does he mean by I ruined his attempt?

He was looking at me with God knows emotion. As soon as he realized me from his grip I pushed him. “I hate you. I hate you so much” I yelled in anger and ran to my room.

I hate him. I hate him so much.

Everything is fake about him. One second he behaves like I'm his possession. In these words, I'm only his and in the next second, he will blame me for everything and break my heart with his harsh words. Like I mean nothing to him in this world.

He made me look desperate in the eyes of the aunt. For things, I never did in the first place. He is such a devil and the biggest liar in this world. I don't want to see his face. I never want to talk to him again.

My thoughts were interrupted by the realization hitting me.

You have to see his face. You have to talk to him because he is the person with whom you are getting married after two days.

He is the devil with whom you are going to spend the rest of his life…
