Mr. Giant Makes Another Appearance!
I'm horrible. But it's not ALL my fault.
Sorry for not updating in like, a month. I've had so many projects due, it's unbelievable. And of course, when I make time for updating, WATTPAD FREAKING DELETES IT.
But here's a chappie. Sorry for not updating. You don't know how sorry I am.
By the way, I changed the last paragraph/line of last chapter. You might wanna read it.
READ ON, MY LITTLE MIDGETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Natasha POV (Sorry, but that's the way we need it)
Her scar on her forehead had faded, she looked a bit younger, and she wasn't wearing her belt, but she looked the same. I could spot a dagger and a gladius concealed in her boot and fold of her coat, too. It was the same face that I had always hated.
I forced myself to look away, and drew a gun. "Who are you all?" I demanded to the rest of the teenage group. In my head, I did a quick analysis of them. They seemed pretty normal, except for the now-armed group, and there was a young girl who was quite short with them. There were eleven of them in total. One of them was dry, but the others were sopping wet.
"I could ask the same to you," snarled a blonde that held an ivory-white sword and a bronze dagger, probably Celestial bronze. She had a rather fierce expression,as if she was going to kill me if I made one move.
I already knew what they were. Demigods.
Tony, Bruce, Steve, and Thor chose that moment to come running up, which was great timing.
"Why are you holding sticks and cucumbers?" blurted out Tony, who apparently didn't care that care about the fact that they were random teenagers.
The teenagers exchanged looks, murmuring amongst themselves.
"Well? Are you gonna tell me?" Tony demanded.
Just then, I heard a humming noise, resonating with anger and shaking the ground. The water in the lake flew upward, defying gravity and forming the shape of a fifteen-foot man with an eyepatch. In his hand was a sword made of blue metal and in his other was a steel shield with ornate designs. He was dressed in full battle armor of more blue metal. His armor looked a lot like Thor's except more blue. His blue eye was filled with cold Fury (see what I did there?) and I could swear his gray beard was shaking. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the small girl leap into a shadow and hide.
The water giant took a quick sweep of the area with his eye. "Good," he murmured. "The girl isn't here."
Thor seemed angered by his presence. "Why have you come here?" He yelled in his typical I'm-A-God-bow-down-to-me way.
"Well, well, Thor," said the water giant in a calm way. "I didn't expect to see you here with these mortals. How do you do?"
"I asked you a question!" yelled Thor again.
"So did I."
Thor looked confused at this, as if he had not been expecting it. "Umm . . . But I asked mine first!" he blurted out.
He clearly deserves applause for that.
"That brings me to my point. Who cares about who came first? Not me. Not the Greeks, what with Poseidon ruling the sea after Nereb or whatever the Helheim his name was."
"It was Nereus," I heard someone mutter. Must've been from the demigod group, because I'm pretty sure that no one out of my group would have said that.
"So, I will murder every single one of the Greeks, starting with these ignorant mortals right here, since I would like to take possession of the sea," the water giant said, taking a step forward.
My brain could easily process this information. At a time like this, I would simply shoot. But my bullets were of mortal steel, something that I knew wouldn't harm him much. I would need some type of magical metal to actually harm him. But that didn't mean that I couldn't slow him down. Of course, I had to wait for the right opportunity.
The water giant started to walk on the water, slowly, toward the demigod group with a menacing smile showing. I opened fire, an arrow shot into his face, and to different branches of lightning came from the sky, all at the same time. The giant howled with pain and we all ran for our lives, with me hoping that the innocent mortals would too. The giant was screaming curses behind me as we ran out of Central Park and into Tony's car as he drove like a madman to Avengers Tower, screaming his head off.
We got out and ran for the tower, still not feeling safe. We all went our separate ways after that, but I went straight to Fury's office.
"Director Fury!" I bursted out, right after bursting through his door.
"Yes, what is it, Agent Romanoff?" he replied in his usual impatient and hard tone.
"There's a threat on the loose. Thor seemed to know him," I said.
At this Fury's brows furrowed. "Any information?"
"Probably a god. Is associated with water. Probably Norse, seeing as Thor seemed to know him. Can be found at lakes." I paused, unsure if I should say what I was going to say next.
Fury noticed my hesitation. "Is there anything else you would like to add?" he pressed.
I bit my lip, wondering if there was any way out of telling him about the demigod group. But it was probably better tell him. We needed all the information we could get about the giant. And I did know a name.
"Yeah," I said. "I have a name. Hylla Ramirez-Arellano." ((A/N my computer won't let me use the accent mark.))
He nodded. "Agent Romanoff, arrange a meeting with the rest of the Avengers in the fifth floor lounge room as soon as possible." He then turned and left the room, not waiting for an answer.
I jogged out of the office and cleared my throat, looking at the ceiling. "Uh . . . JARVIS? Could you tell Tony, Bruce, Steve, Clint, and Thor to get to the lounge room as soon as possible?"
The automated accented voice replied, "It would be my pleasure, Agent Romanoff."
I sighed, wondering what Tony had gotten us into. Yes, I'm blaming Tony. I took the elevator to the fifth floor and walked to the lounge room. There, on the couch, sat Fury. On another couch was Steve, and in an armchair, Clint. There was a coffee table and a file was on it. I flopped on another couch. "Hello," I said.
"Hello," everyone else said.
For five minutes, we sat in silence. Five minutes in which I stared at the file, anxious to open it.
Tony and Bruce came in and took a seat.
"So," I said, reaching toward the file, but before my hand could reach it, Fury's hand slammed down on it. "That's for later," he said in a hard tone. I gulped. His temper tantrums are not something you want to mess with. Don't tell him that I said that he has temper tantrums.
"Why didn't you fight back?" he demanded, his voice hard and steely.
"What are you talking about?" Clint asked. "I didn't have my bow on me, Stark didn't have his suit, Banner could've - "
"You're supposed to keep people safe!" Fury yelled. "Who knows what might've happened there! Your primary job is to keep - people - safe. Do I make myself clear?"
We all (excluding Fury) looked at each other and nodded. "Good," Fury said. He picked up the file, opened it, and read, "Hylla Ramirez-Arellano. Age twenty-three, Puerto Rican, and six two. Her father, Julian Ramirez-Arellano, is deceased, she has no known mother, and she has a sister, Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano, of whom is proclaimed missing. She is proclaimed missing, like her sister. Hylla was last seen in San Juan, near some wreckage of houses. Of course, someone must've seen her to take this picture of her. She has no criminal record." He tossed a picture toward us. She still had her scar, though it had faded quite a bit. Her hair seemed more curly than the girl at the park's.
"Sir, when was this taken?" I asked Fury. His brow furrowed, as if trying to remember.
"Something like a month ago," he said.
I turned my attention back to the picture. If this is how Hylla looks, then the girl at the park was not Hylla.

There ya go. I'm a horrible person, aren't I? First, not updating for a month, and then leaving you with a cliffhanger. Don't worry: I'll update soon. I've got to make up for the time that I didn't update.
