"What the hell is going on?" I ran out of my room bumping into kazim's dad who also dashed out of his.

"Mother! I am old enough to be with who I want to be with and nothing will change that!!" He firmly states that out to her, who kept shaking her head in dismay.

"Nothing will change that? Oh, it means you don't know your mother, I am willing to go any length to get what I want!!" She threatens.

"And you don't know me as well mother, I am also willing to do go any length in other to get what I desire and I desire Tabitha".  He furious turns to net his eyes to mine.

"Babe!!" His eyes widened up as he didn't expect me to be there.

"What is going on here? Why are you fighting with your mother?" I sensed uproar in the air.

"It's nothing Babe, let's leave from here!!" He pulls me back, as we stunted upstairs.

I could see the gloom in his face, stunting him back to my room, "what's going on Kazim, I could hear your voice from downstairs!!". I asked pushing for a response.

"It's nothing!! Okay, don't stress the issue!!" He turned his glare away.

"You lying Kazim, I know when trying to hide the truth, please open up to me," I said Knitting his eyes to mine.

"Like I said babe it nothing" he copies of his initial words to me.

"So??" I waited for him to continue his statement.

He says " so? So nothing, all I want from you is your trust okay, I promise I won't let you down.

"I do trust you Kazim okay, with everything I have and until my last breath". I pulled him close, my hands wrapped around him.

Meanwhile back and the living room, Kazim's dad implored his wife for an explanation.

He says " can you kindly explain to me what prompted your argument with my son?".

"It's not what? It's more like a who?" She says to him.

" who? I don't understand" he returns his words to her.

"What can't you understand? The problem here is that girl, our son brought with him".

Kazims dad seems not to understand a word being said

"Oh, you mean Tabitha?" He inquires.

"Who else, she's the greatest obstacle in our lives!!!" She frowns

"What did she do? I thought you liked her or was I mistaking?" He lets out.

"I did like her but the moment I found out that she wasn't a Muslim, everything changed".

"Everything changed? Wifey please tell me what exactly happened". He glares at her.

(Inaudible conversation between them).

"Urgh!! Are you seriously kidding me," he (Adam) couldn't believe his wife's silly reason.

"What? I am serious about that and I swear, I will never let Kazim get married to her ".

Her words drove him ( Adam) to the wall as he angrily shouts at her.

He says " shut the hell up woman, and listen to yourself!!!".

"Huh!!!" She looks confused

"Don't huh me!!! How many times have I told you to let go of your silly heat over someone being a Christian, just because you engaged with Jason flopped?

"Don't you dare remind me of that! Because you know how much I loved him and was willing to go any extent for him.".
