Aftermath

Ariyah woke up at the middle of the night. She can hear the clock ticking repeatedly while her heart is beating abnormally.

She's gasping for air while her eyes becomes misty. She dreamed again about that man. That man who has blue cunning eyes.

He is looking at her full of contempt. Full of hatted.

She sat on her big and comfy bed. She calmed herself a bit before she get up and walked towards her bathroom.

Absentmindedly, she open the faucet and wash her hands before she wash her face. But, terror consume her whole system when the water becomes that red thick fluid called blood.

She screamed, loudly as she cried because of fear that's slowly sipping inside her body. She helplessly sat on the floor and cried.

No matter how calm and cruel she is when she's inside her office. Deep inside her lies a frightened and weak girl.

Her father disowned her. That's why she attempted to made their business bigger than before. She became the youngest entrepreneur in the whole world.

Her business is plastics. She influenced people to use plastic than paper bags because it's more practical and easy to use.

But, people who loves nature so much sent an appeal to the court because her plastics are affecting and polluting not just the economic, but also the water systems.

Oceans, sea, rivers even falls becomes dirty and filthy because of the plastics she made. The whole nation is blaming her because of her business.

"Ariyah," She can feel creeps all over her body when she heard that voice. "Stop producing plastic,"

Suddenly, blue light envelope the whole room. Making her breathless because it's forming into a figure. A figure of a man!

Her loud screamed echoed inside her mansion because of too much surprise she felt when she saw the eyes of that creature. Blue cunning eyes darted to her.

He's staring at her. She swallowed the lump in her throat and asked. "Who... are you?"

"I am Okeanos, the God of Water," He said, full of power before he dragged her on the deepest part of the ocean. She let her see how plastics ruined the marine life.

How plastics killed the nature. How plastics broke his heart because of her selfishness. He let her see how plastics killed the most precious thing He given to humans.

And that is water.

After seconds of showing her what's happening on Earth. He stared at her.

She's speechless because of her ambition to be the top and youngest entrepreneur all over the world. She didn't realize that she's ruining the nature.

She only focused on her father's insults that she will never be the best daughter. That she's just worthless.

That's why she becomes selfish. Tears rolled down on her cheeks when reality strucked her.

Okeanos wiped the tears on her cheeks and lay her on bed before he kissed her forehead. Instantly, she becomes sleepy.

I'll stop my old ways. Her last thought.
