"Dani." A soft voice whispered, I opened my eyes and raised my head, to see Bucky, he was running his hand up and down my back, I fell asleep leaning on the bar.

"What time is it?" I asked and he checked the time. "Five am, the last of the guests just left." He smiled and I shook my head.

"Let me take you to your bed," he said. I didn't argue, I was still half drunk and half asleep.

He easily picked me up, carrying me up the stairs, making it the quietest walk ever by avoiding the elevator, and the drunk Avengers arguing.

He stayed quiet and walked me to my bedroom, he pulled the covers over me and he placed a cup of water by my bed. I closed my eyes and didn't hear him leave my room

"Night." I smiled, and he then left. I rolled over and cuddled with my pillow, pretending it was Barnes, I missed him too much.

The next morning I woke up to Natasha jumping on my bed. "Happy official birthday!" She shouted and I pulled the blanket over my head. "Leave me alone." I yelled and she ripped the blanket off of me.

"Get up, everyone is downstairs waiting for you." She said and I sat up. I put a clean sweatshirt and leggings on and threw my hair into a messy bun. I followed Nat downstairs and all the Avengers were here at a huge table, excluding Thor obviously.

"Happy Birthday!" They all cheered and I smiled, "You guys are the best." I said and hugged everyone, except Bucky, he stayed seated and was ignoring me, so I tried to ignore it, he wants to play this game, huh? Touché

I sat next to Peter and Tony. Bucky was at the complete opposite side of the table, keeping to himself, Victoria wasn't here either, he probably was just missing her.

"Well, time to pass out gifts." Tony said after I finished all my pancakes, he started, and handed me a tiny box, I opened it and a sick weapon was there. "This is awesome!" I shouted, it was a bracelet and a stick, which got longer, and as long as I wore the bracket, the stick would come back, with the boomerang effect.

"This is so awesome." I smiled and he smirked, "I mean, I saw the blueprints you made, a few years ago,when we were in Canada, so then I improved them, maybe sometime we could build something together." He said, I hadn't talked to him much since I got back, this was going to be like a bonding experience.

"Yeah, that'd be awesome!" I said and hugged him. Next was Steve, but he already gave me mine, then was Natasha. "I hope it fits." She said and handed me a cute beach bag, I opened it and there was a new suit and a new dress. "I love them." I said and took out the suit. "It's waterproof, and it has new room for more weapons."

"Thank you."

Next was Peter. "I know it's not much, I am only fifteen.." He laughed and handed me a tiny bag, I opened it and there was a tiny device, "You made this?" I asked and he smiled. "Well, you're always falling off buildings, so it's your own web shooter, it will only work once, but it's for emergencies."

I hugged him and he hugged me back. "I love it. And, I haven't fallen off a building in a while." He rolled his eyes and passed me a gift from Clint and his wife, it was a home made scarf and matching gloves. I absolutely loved his wife, she was like a sister to me, she was amazing. I thanked them again and everyone else got me gift cards, except for Sam who got me a tiny carved out bird. It was a joke between us, because I always tease him how he's as scary as a wooden bird. And Wanda got me a few books, music, little things we share common interests in.

I put everything against the wall and we continued with breakfast, "This has been one of my better birthdays, one year, everyone at a Shield base completely forgot..." I smiled at the memory, it was good to laugh at

"My worst birthday was when I had whooping cough, remember that Bucky?" Steve said and Bucky nodded.

"I do remember that, my worst was I had a tiny party and it got rained out, and no one showed up, except for Steve of coarse." He said

We all went around sharing bad stories by then made jokes about each other and just had a good time.

Steve helped me carry all my things back to my room like a gentleman.

I was practicing with the new weapon in my room when I heard sniffles, I peaked my head out the door and saw Victoria.

"What's the matter?" I asked and she sighed, "Bucky dumped me, he said there was someone else." She said and I hugged her quickly.

"I'm sorry, if it makes you feel any better, maybe we could go out sometime. You seem like a good person."

"No offense, that'd be weird. But thanks for the offer, I always knew he was interested someone else." She said and wiped away her tears.

She ran down the hall and left, I felt bad for her. But on the inside I felt important again and hopeful we could make it work, but I'm not even sure why he dumped her so I won't get ahead of myself.

Bucky Barnes Point of View: Last night, I realized how much I still like her, when she was lying there asleep in her bed.

At breakfast, watching her smile and laugh made me happy. I forgot how much I loved her, I didn't want anyone taking her away from me.

I broke up Victoria. She knew it was coming.

It was lunch time and I heard Dani's door open. I looked outside my peep hole and she was on the phone.

"Keep me updated, I won't stop until I know he's dead."

"Yes, I don't care, he's not going to stop until he finds another Winter Soldier, and he's still experimenting on people, I won't let anyone else get hurt." She said, I knew she was talking about Christopher now.

I opened my door and she ignored me until she finished her call. "Sorry, about that, just work." She said awkwardly.

"Where you headed?" I asked. "Lunch."

"Could I come?" I asked and she paused, she seemed a little surprised. "Yes."
