"Holy shit it's four am." I gasped and started laughing. I finished the whole pizza box and three cups of coffee.

I also made a few new weapons for my suit. Tomorrow I would test them out and train with them, right now I need some sleep.

7am the next day

"Today is Wednesday, New York is 45 degrees and cloudy. Slight chance of rain." Jarvis shouted through my room and opened he curtains.

I got up and showered, changed into sweats and walked to the kitchen.

I grabbed some coffee and a cup of fruit and walked to the lab and grabbed my new weapons.

"Any updates on their mission?" I asked. "Bucky tried calling you at 12:35am yesterday." I spit out my coffee.

"Why didn't you wake me?" I asked. "Well I answered, he asked where you were and I said sleeping, he didn't want to wake you." He was too sweet.

"Call him back." I said and took out my phone. It kept ringing, until he answered. I sighed out of relief, knowing he was okay.

"Hey, I heard you called."

"Yeah, Jarvis told me you were sleeping. I didn't want to wake you." He said over the line. It was pretty loud on his end

"So how's it going?" I asked and he paused. "Well there are a lot more Hydra bases here then we thought so I called to warn you we might be a few weeks."

"That sucks, I already miss you."

"I miss you too, how are you keeping yourself occupied."

"Well I've been talking to Jarvis a lot more than usual." I said and he laughed, "I also made a new weapon for my suit."

"Really now?" He said and I heard someone walk over to him. "Give me the phone, I wanna talk to her."

"No, you call her yourself I'm talking with her." I heard someone say then I heard a quiet struggle then someone else pick up the phone.

"Hey kid, it's Tony." It's so quiet here at the tower without him.

"Hey." I smiled over the phone, "don't make a mess of my lab."

"I won't, I promise."

"Oh and Pepper will be stopping by on Saturday, I told her to hang out with you maybe take you out for shopping or nails I don't know, whatever girls do, but only after you went to the doctors to check up on your foot."

"Please, I'm fine."

"Anyways, Barnes will kill me if I don't give him back the phone, so bye."

"Bye."

Bucky picked the phone back up and I could practically see the death glares he was giving Tony. "I have to go, we are about to invade the base, I sent you all the info we have incase you spot something we don't. And I'll call you later, stay safe, babe."

He said and hung up. Wait, he just called me babe. "Jarvis, replay the last sentence Bucky said to me.

"And I'll call you later, stay safe, babe" I blushed and smiled. I don't even think he meant it. It just slipped out.

Instead of focusing on it, I just brushed it off and tried to forget it and wait for him to call again.

"Jarvis bring up the mission reports Bucky sent me." I scrolled through them and this was a huge base. I wish I could be there helping.

The base can hold up to fifty prisoners and many have gone in as volunteers to experiments but have not come out, rumors state they are working on enhanced people. High security all the time, all guards are equipped with guns, traders, and knives.

I scrolled through pages and went into the history of the building. "Jarvis when was this building built?"

"1920"

That's the time Hydra was growing and developing bases so that checks out. I just feel like I'm missing something here. I texted Natasha, 'be careful, send me any Intel you find, don't tell Bucky.'

I kept researching and discovered that there are secret tunnels under ground. Those will probably be rigged with explosives or something though to keep any intruders out. The entire building checked out.

I was just so bored.

Bucky Barnes Point of View: "Give me the phone I wanna talk to her." Tony demanded. "No, you call her yourself I'm talking with her."

He then tried to take the phone from me and he grabbed it. He put her on speaker and I listened to his conversation with her.

He handed me back the phone and I flipped Stark off when he tried to walk away. We continued talking but we were arriving at our first steak out and I didn't want to have them pick up on any electronics.

"I have to go, we are about to invade the base, I sent you all the info we have incase you spot something we don't. And I'll call you later, stay safe, babe."

I hung up and turned my phone off. I put it in my pocket and looked back up to see Tony laughing. "What?" I asked, I had no idea what was so funny

"You just called Dani 'babe'. Did you even realize it?" He laughed and I could feel the heat on my face. "Wait, what?"

I asked playing stupid. I couldn't have called her that, I mean I always call her that in my head but I've never called her it in person. She must think I'm so weird, what have I done?

"Jarvis replay Bucky's last sentence." Tony said

"And I'll call you later, stay safe, babe." I cringed when he replayed it for me. "What do you want? I'll give you anything I don't want you telling any one else about this."

"I want your arm."

"Holdup big boy, you want what?" I asked

"When we get to the lab, let me check out your arm. That's all."

"I mean, sure." I shrugged and he walked out of the room giggling like an idiot.

We got back to the hotel and I collapsed on my bed. Steve and I were sharing a room and I was so tired.

We had watched the base for a whole entire day and absolutely nothing happened. No one entered or exited. It was like they knew we were watching.
