Chapter 7

"Alright, alright let's stay calm. The chances that they know it's us aboard this ship are slim, so let's just calm down. They'll probably tell us we're in restricted airspace and send us in our way," Ahsoka said trying to remain levelheaded.

"Yea, but there's a bounty on your head. Everyone in the Empire likely knows what you look like," Lux pointed out.

"I know, I know." Ahsoka was pacing back and fourth attempting to come up with a plan, when she spotted something in the corner. She walked over and picked it up, and when she did a wave of nostalgia hit her. What was in her hand was the same cloak she had worn to Zygerria years before when she went undercover as a slave. That mission hadn't been particularly enjoyable, but the thought of it brought back memories of her other missions with the GAR, and... Anakin. She could feel tears start to form in her eyes

Suddenly Ahsoka felt two arms wrap around her waist. "'Soka? Are you okay?" Lux asked softly

Ahsoka squeezed her eyes shut to rid herself of the tears and took a deep breath. "Yeah... I'm okay Lux. I was just..." Ahsoka trailed off as she felt the tears resurface, but Lux knew what she was thinking.

"I know, I miss him too Ahsoka. I miss everyone, but we will have time to mourn and feel bad later. Right now we have a big problem."

"You're right," she said wiping the tears away and turning to face Lux. "Here's the plan I've come up with, I'll put the cloak on and you'll say I'm your slave if you're asked."

"Absolutely not Ahsoka. You know how anti-slavery I am, I can't do that."

"I won't actually be your slave, and besides, do you have a better plan?"

Lux thought for a second, then spoke. "Well... not necessarily, but-" Ahsoka cut him off.

"But nothing. This is our only option at this point. Had you not been so clumsy and messed up the computer, we wouldn't even be in this mess right now!" Ahsoka had continued to raise her voice, and by the time she was done she was shouting. Her eyes weren't their normal blue, but a grey.

Lux shrunk in fear. Ahsoka almost never yelled at him. Really the only time he could remember was Carlac, and if he was being honest he deserved it that time. "I-I'm s-s-s-sorry."

Ahsoka was still standing over him, glaring at him when she realized what she was doing. She saw Lux cowering in fear from her. Her stance and expression immediately softened, and her eyes returned to their normal crystal blur color. "Lux... I-I'm so sorry. I... I don't know what came over me," she said falling to her knees. The young togruta began to sob at what she had just done.

Lux crawled over to his distressed girlfriend and brought her into a tight embrace. "Shhhhh... shhhhh... it's okay d'bhem, it's okay."

The pair just stayed in the embrace until Ahsoka had calmed down a bit. She looked up at Lux, who brought a hand up to her cheek and wiped the tears away. The two were just strong into each others eyes, not noticing they were inching closer and closer until their lips were right on top of each others. They closed their eyes and deepened the kiss.

Once they had broken from it, Lux stood up. "Now ready to do this?" He asked offering his hand to help Ahsoka up. She just nodded and grabbed his hand. Lux pulled her up, but used a bit too much force and they ended up in a hugging position. Lux smiled at his girlfriend and planted a gentle kiss on her forehead between her markings.

"Now put that cloak on. We're already in the hangar and they'll be coming in any second." Ahsoka nodded and did what she was told. As Lux had predicted, not even seconds after Ahsoka put the cloak on, there was a knock on the side of the ship. Lux opened the door of the ship and walked out, with Ahsoka following close behind.

They were met with a group of 6 storm troops and one higher up, likely an admiral or something like that.

"Identification please," the ranking officer demanded.

"I don't have any identification. The Empire hasn't made it to my planet yet. I live far out, far away from civilization, which is why I'm here right now. My ship hasn't been working correctly, and I needed to get it fixed. I put the coordinates in for Tatooine, but it must have malfunctioned and sent me here. I hope you can understand." Lux, using his political skills, was able to craft up a nice lie and keep a straight face as he delivered it.

The officer gave him a skeptical look, and switched his attention to Ahsoka. "And who is this?" He asked.

"Oh this? This is my slave, Airax. She is accompanying me on my journey so I am not lonely."

"What planet did you say you hailed from?"

"Diusu is what it's called by locals. I'm not sure we've ever had outside visitors, so it may not even be on any of your maps."

"Hmmmmm... is that so? Then maybe I better take you with me so you can lead the Empire to your planet," the man said with a wicked smirk.

"No! You can't do that, you don't have any rule over me!"

"Well, you're in Imperial airspace, which is under Imperial laws and jurisdiction, so yes, I do," he replied smugly. He turned to the stormtroopers with him. "Take these two down to the detention level. I'll want to question them later." The troopers nodded and didn't speak a word as the walked over and cuffed Lux and Ahsoka.

"You won't get away with this!" Lux shouted at the officer.

"Oh and what are you and your planet going do do?" He said with a wicked smirk as he watched Lux and Ahsoka get carried away.

~~~
"Well this is just great," Lux complained throwing his hands up. "What are we going to do now? They're going to interrogate me and realize I lied, and then they'll kill us both!"
"Lux calm down. I'm thinking of a plan right now." Truth was, Ahsoka was just as worried. They were in a ray shielded cell, with no exits aside from the door. Of course she could probably use one of her various force abilities to make a way out, but she didn't want to use them if she didn't have to because if she did that would just draw more attention to them.
Suddenly, the ray shield went down, and standing outside was a group of 3 or 4 stormtroopers. "You, girl," one of them said pointing at Ahsoka. "They want you in the interrogation room." Two of the troopers went over and grabbed Ahsoka, cuffing her and and dragging her to her feet. She didn't even put up a fight, Lux attempted to, but was quickly shit down by one of the troopers giving him the butt end of his gun to the face. He fell to the ground unconscious. Inside Ahsoka was screaming, praying that he was okay, but she couldn't do anything.
Again, she could've easily overpowered the troopers even without her sabers, but she didn't want to use her force abilities just yet if she didn't need to.
Once she reached the interrogation room, she was strapped into a chair of some sort. The troopers all left, and then she was alone. It gave her time to scan her surroundings and attempt to find an escape route. She had memorized the turns she had taken from the cell to get her, so she'd easily be able to find her way back to Lux.
Just as she was about to loosen her straps via the force, she felt a presence outside of the door, a presence strong in the force, and stopped. The door flung open, revealing a larger figure, dressed in all black. The man had a loud raspy breath. He appeared to be more matching then man though.
"The force is strong with you young one, and yet... you claim to be a slave?" He asked in a mechanical voice. Ahsoka didn't speak, as she didn't really know what to say. The man walked closer to her, until he was less than a foot from her. "Let's see what we've got under here." The mechanical man used a hand to remove her hood. Once he got a good look at her face, he took a step back. "Just as I had thought... the padawan of Skywalker." He said the name with such hatred, such venom, like he couldn't even stand to speak it.
"Who are you?!" Ahsoka asked starting to struggle in her bindings. She could get out of them easily whenever she wanted, but was waiting for the right time.
"That is not important. What is important is that I am going to make you an offer. Come with me, join me, and you and your boyfriend can rule the galaxy with me. With our combined strength, we can overthrow the Emperor."
Ahsoka didn't even hesitate. "No. I will NEVER join you."
"So be it," he replied coldly as he pressed a button on the wall. As soon as he did, a shockwave was sent through Ahsoka's body. The young togruta screamed in agony and the electricity coursed through her body. Finally the electrocution ended, and along with it Ahsoka's struggling. She slouched in the chair, falling unconscious.
Oooooh cliffhanger ;)
