Chance's POV:

"What's that? I asked as I saw a huge bruise in Ace's chest. He looked down at it. And then back at me. "Had a good fight with huge guy." He said with a smile.

We were changing our clothes. As I took my shirt of I saw my bruise, which was starting to fade. "Look, we are bruise buddies." Ace said and I chuckled. "It is not funny, Ace it is sad." I said.

"Who cares if we got bruised? We just destroyed 3 bases of Nova. We are the kings of destruction, darling." Ace said and wrapped his arms around me. I knew he added that 'darling' with cute accent to make me smile.

I turned around to face him and kissed him. I tried not to press down on his bruise and moved to the other side as he guided our bodies back towards the bed.

"Do you think that, one day, it will be over?" I ask him without looking. His hands are caging me in his arms, with my back pressed to his chest. I could feel his slow breathes brush my neck. If being his prisoner is this good, I never want to leave.

He knew what I meant by 'it'. Our attacks, our constant fights and danger, hell, I meant all our life style. The spark of adrenaline that we both craved.

"I don't know. But it probably has to be over at some point." Ace answered after much silence. "Can you imagine us at 60-65 still going at it with guns and knives?" We both laughed.

I would be hell of a storm even when I am 60." I said and Ace chuckled. "Sure thing, Grandma."

"Seriously though, we would need to stop doing this someday." I said. I don't know if this fact made me feel happy or sad. Maybe both. Ace kissed my neck and mumbled to my ear.

"Someday, but not today."

"It is settled then." Jason declared loudly as he stepped towards the plan board. It is the big white board where we write out our strategies and attacks. It helps with seeing the bigger picture.

We will be going from back door. 3 snipers will be out in the front for protection. Rest of us will be in the back. With Mason monitoring the place, Max and Blair will slowly progress inside, knocking out everyone they see on their ways.  While me and Jason will put a signal blocker around the house, stopping Nova's people from calling the back up.

Then Ace, Jason and I will join others with the fight. There are 3 floors in general, we won't move to another floor before we finish the current one.

"Everyone needs to be killed. Maybe knock them out at first but be sure to shot them in the head afterwards." I warned our gang members when we were explaining plan to them.

The meeting will be held in third floor. We have access to voices around the place too. So, Mason will be able to tell us which one of the people is Faith.

In the night of fight, everything was going according to plan. Ace and I were moving to second floor, when we heard footsteps coming towards us.

"Someone is guarding the second-floor stairs. Left side. Not big but has a gun." Mason said through the earpiece. Ace and I nodded at each other as Ace took out the smoke bomb and threw it up. Then we quickly climbed the stairs.

I saw our guy and shot him in the head twice. His body dropped down and slid down the stairs. Making a lot of noise. "Third floor people stopped talking. They are listening.......... One walked out and is coming down the stairs." Mason informed.

I looked around and saw Blair Max and Jason with other group of our gang members dealing with second floor people. "We will guard the stairs, as soon as you see him shoot." I said to Ace and we stood at both sides of the stairs.

"In three...two...one" Mason counted down like some movie director. Guy was visible as he said 'one' and I knocked him out with the back of the gun and Ace shot him in the head.

Then we ran towards others, helping to take down as many people as we can. "it wouldn't be long enough until someone in the meeting noticed the missing person.

"Wait, they made 2 more people go look for the missing guy." Mason said after a while of silence. I broke the neck of another guy. As I was looking around another guy jumped on my and pinned me to the ground.

"Now, that's not how you act towards a lady isn't it?" I said and kicked him in the groin. He groaned and let go of me. I immediately grabbed the gun of the dead guy near me and shot him in the chest 3 times. But the gun wasn't silenced so the sound of shots surrounded the house.

Fuck.

I threw the gun down and got up. Others quickly came towards the source of sound. "Mason how is the situation?" I asked.

We saw 2 people coming down the stairs and Jason immediately shot them dead. "They are starting to get up from their places." Mason said and I motioned for everyone to get upstairs.

"Is there something left in this floor?" I asked Max and Mason. Max shook his head. "No, everywhere is clean." Mason said after few loud clicks was heard.

In the upstairs I heard guns go off and rushed there. Most of our members were already there. There weren't much people on the third floor. Only the 13 people who were having a meeting and 4 guards.

Noah, the leader of Nova was standing in front of us. He had 2 guards against his side. I took a cover behind one of the walls and Aimed at the shoulder of one guard.

Guard yelled as bullet hit him and checked his side. I used this and shot him few more times until he dropped to the ground.

My gun was empty, so I threw it out and crawled towards the closest body to take his gun. I took the gun and saw someone's heels right in front of me. Only female attending the meeting was Faith.

I took the knife from the dead body as well and threw it at her leg. I heard a loud shriek and got up.

Faith had a huge coat around herself, also a huge hat, and weird hairstyle. "Why the fuck you dressed like some Sherlock Holmes?" I said with a chuckle.

"Max, Blair there 2 people behind you." I heard Mason through the earpiece, I looked back and saw them. I fired two bullets hitting one in the heel and other on the side.  It would slow them down.

I turned back to Faith but she wasn't there anymore. When I looked around I saw her walking towards Ace. I creeped up behind her, though she noticed me.

Faith threw a punch towards me but I caught it and twisted her arm. I threw of her ridiculous hat. She struggled against me and managed to get out of it by ditching her coat.

Why the fuck does she even wear them?

As her face was visible I heard Mason choke and gasp from the other side. "What's going on?" I asked with worry. Mason cleared her throat. "It is Angela. The Famous Angela is FAITH" Mason yelled.

All of us stopped for a moment and looked at her. By now, all the guards were dead, along with most of the meeting people. Jason had the Noah in headlock while Max and Blair were shooting people and kicking them down the stairs.

Ace stopped kicked over his attacker and looked at the Faith/Angela. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked in disbelief.

Angela chuckled and scanned Ace from head to toe. The Nerve. "Well, I am getting your attention, and extra money, honey. When you stopped hanging out with me because you became too dangerous, I had to find a way to meet you again, Grayson. So, I made Nova." She said and gestured this place.

"Then Noah was just a fake leader, to keep your name clean. After all you are with the police." Ace said with bitter tone.  She nodded.

"Yes, I did this to get closer to you, don't you see? Now that both of us are screwed we could finally be together again." She said.

I think this is enough.

I marched towards Faith and she turned to look at me.  I was going to shoot her when I saw other man coming towards Ace. I threw my gun at him and Faith used the opportunity to punch me.

I stumbled backwards, but gained control fast enough to block her next move. "I guess, you are the one sleeping with Grayson now, Rose is it?" Faith spoke trying to get me to distracted.

I blocked her moves but she was cornering me towards the wall. I pushed her of off me. "Yeah Rose, and I would really appreciate it if you concentrated on the fight instead of my boyfriend." I said and punched her stomach she doubled over but I heard her laugh.

Ace and I exchanged looks as she did so. Then he turned his attention back to his new attacker. Angela was still down but I didn't get down to attack her. I saw her take the knife that I dropped earlier.

She just wants me to kneel down so she can stab me. "Your new girlfriend doesn't sound like much fun, Grayson. She isn't even in to it now, is she?' Angela said with fake laughter and got back up.

"Keep your unhealthy kinks to yourself now would ya?" I said and blocked her pathetic attempt on stabbing me. I grabbed her arm with one hand and kicked her stomach making her drop the knife.

"Aww, she isn't able to do it. Poor you Grayson." Angela teased again. That's it.

I grabbed both of her arms and headbutted her. "OH, you don't know how much I am in to it. You"-kick- "whore"

Ace was in the other side of the room, shooting a guy when he looked up. "Wait, are you in to it?"  I couldn't help but laugh.

"Seriously? Do you think it is the best time to talk about this?" I said as I stabbed Angela in the stomach and twisted the knife inside her.

"Rose." I heard Blair call and looked at her. She threw her gun towards me and I caught it. I pointed it to Angela's neck and fired until there were no more bullets left.

I dropped the gun and looked around the room. Everyone from Nova was dead. I saw few of our gang members bodies, but still, most of us were alive and it was the main thing.

Ace came towards me and we hugged. "Your psychotic ex was hell of a thing to kill." I joked and he laughed.

Then I knew that, I would fight whoever I need to fight just to keep him by my side.
