Reader POV

<Timeskip to 3rd year, before the chaos>

"Whoa, this is insane!" I yelled over the music to my half-sister Nakamura Koi as she dragged me into the huge graduation party since we were graduating in a week and everyone was throwing them.

"I know, right?!" She yelled back to me.

"I don't think we should be here!" I tried to stop her, but she tugged me into the house, kicking open the door.

Already, there were people who were beyond drunk.

And don't even get started on the sluts in the hallway about to get railed.

"Who's house is this anyway??"

"Mine."

We turned around to see the host of the party.

Kageyama Tobio.

He had a piercing in his ear and a frown on his face. "I don't remember inviting people from Shiratorizawa."

"Well..."

"I invited them!" Hinata Shoyo jumped onto Koi and kissed her cheeks. "Is there a problem with that, Kageyama? You said you-"

I noticed Tsukishima Mizuki flinch at her crush kissing Koi.

I indeed knew that Mizuki had a huge thing for the preppy tangerine, but sadly he didn't see her that way.

"Shut up, Boke." Kageyama glanced at me before grabbing my arm and dragging me into the backyard where it was quieter. "It's been a while, Semi (y/n)."

"Indeed."

I wasn't really friends with him, but was acquainted with him since Kenjiro was also a setter that knew the King of the Court.

Not to mention that Oikawa Tooru was the Grand King.

He invited me to sit down. "So...we're graduated from our high schools."

"Yeah. Where do you plan on going?"

He shrugged. "Maybe Tokyo University."

"Nice." I looked around, feeling the awkward. "So, what's going on with you? I don't really know you aside from what I heard from Kenjiro."

Kageyama tapped his fingers on his thigh. "Nothing much to be honest. Just decided to throw this party for the hell of it."

"And what will your parents think?"

He looked away. "They won't mind. And my sister's all the way in Singapore right now, so the house is mine."

A smile made its way onto my face.  "A little party never killed nobody."

"Exactly!" An arm was slung around my shoulder. "Yo! Kags! You actually grew the balls to invite her to the party!"

"Nishinoya!" Kageyama glared at him.

I pushed 'Nishinoya' off me. "Well, I'm going to get some food."

I got out of the situation, waving goodbye to the host and locating my dear friend Shira flirting with some guy with onion-shaped hair.

"Shira!" I pulled her away.

"What is it, (y/n)?" She looked at me with annoyance. "Can't you see I'm-"

"Shira, something isn't right. I don't know what it is-"

"I know what it is," she rolled her eyes. "It's you. Losen up, (y/n)!! It's graduation night. We're going to get one last hurrah before we're thrown into the world of college!"

Shira pulled something out of her pocket and grabbed a beer from the bucket. "Take this."

I looked at the little tablet with a dove on it and knew what it was.

Ecstasy.

"Where did you get that?" I asked Koi.

She said nothing and winked. "Just take it. You'll feel so much better. Losen up, Semi! It's our last night of pure fun!"

"Yeah girl!" A girl who looked like she was in college cheered, raising her beer to the sky. "C'mon, girl! Live a little!"

In the hazy lights that poured out different colors, I looked down at the tablet.

The two girls looked at me expectantly, smiles going onto their faces as I grabbed a beer and snagged it open.

"Bottoms up!" They cheered as I took the pill and chugged it down.

"Bottoms up," I mumbled as my face got red.

Things began to get hazier as the girls dragged me to the dance floor where people were grinding on each other and some doing line dances.

I even spotted someone taking off their shirt to reveal her black leather bra and glow-in-the-dark necklace.

"Woo!!" Even Yamaguchi was drunk!

He and Tanaka were twerking while Tsukishima Kei was shaking his head with embarrassment.

"Let's dance the fuck outta this bitch!" The college girl said to me, tossing me some glowsticks.

"Who even are you!?" I screamed as the music got louder.

"You can call me Jessie, baby girl!" She winked at me, taking Shira's hand and dancing with her. "Now let all your worries go for one night, girl!"

"Okay!" I drank the rest of my beer and took off my jacket, throwing it onto the couch near Kei who stared at me with shock before standing up.

"Semi! You're here!?" He moved towards me, but his path was blocked by people starting to move and soon I was at the center with Kageyama, Shira, Jessie, Hinata, Koi, and a guy from London called Willy.

"Semi!" Poor Kei's voice was drowned out as the music began to get louder.

The DJ threw leis out to the crowd, Kageyama catching one and draping it around my neck.

"You just got lei-d," he teased me with a smirk.

I turned to him and gave him a sweet smile. "You can do that later, prettyboy~ but right now I wanna dance."

Tsukishima Kei POV

"Oh god she's so drunk," I watched the usually conservative Semi (y/n) start to dance.

"Wow! That girl got some dance moves," Kindaichi nodded his head approvingly as she started dancing to some choreography from some kpop music video.

"Oh god..." I pushed my way through the crowd as I tried to make it to her.

I spotted Shirabu on the side, but he was flirting with someone else.

But I thought he and Semi (y/n) are a thing?

I shook my head and grabbed (y/n)'s hand. "Let's go. This party isn't good for someone like you-"

"Someone like her?" Her friends all stopped dancing and glared at me, people taking notice and pausing their music.

Hell even the DJ stopped the music.

"Ooooh! Drama!"

"Leave," Kageyama said to me with a glare. "Who the hell even invited you?"

(y/n) tugged at his jacket, waving her hand in the air carelessly. "Who cares! Kei, just leave. We wanna have fun before we all go to uni and you're no fun!"

I stared at her with shock. "You think I'm going to leave? You think I'm no fun??"

The girl Shira smirked. "Fine. Prove that you're not some nerd. Boys! Bring the shots!"

A group of boys brought shots and a ball, laying them down on the floor and pouring it to the brim with alcohol.

"Here's your test!" Shira clapped her hands. "Drink every single one of them. Then you can do what you want. But if you don't, you're rep on the street will be decreased back to zero. And the boys'll beat you up for sneaking into my cousin's house."

"Wait, you're cousins?"

"Just do it!"

I looked down at all nine shot cups, cringing.

Just do this then I can get (y/n) with me and we can leave.

"Fine." I easily drank all nine cups as my alcohol tolerance was good.

The music started up again and people lifted me up so I was near (y/n).

I was finally able to get her to go with me half an hour later and she was absolutely absolutely wasted.

I dragged her to my apartment (since I didn't know where she lived) and she thought she was going to get the d.

"Tsuki!" She whined. "I love you!"

I clenched my teeth. If only you say this when you're sober.

"Shut up. You're drunk right now." I spotted Mizuki on the couch since she left the party really early.

"Whoa, what happened to her!?" My younger sister asked me with worry.

"Drunk. Can you help her?"

"Can't you!" Mizuki protested. "I'm in the middle of sobbing my eyes out over Shoyo-"

"I'm not sure I can control myself and I respect her too much. Besides that stupid tangerine isn't worth crying over, crybaby."

Mizuki took (y/n) upstairs and I left her so I could deal with the aftermath of (y/n)'s drunk state in the morning.

I went out to the supermarket nearby and got some food as I knew my mother always kept advil nearby due to the time of the month where both my sister and mother had their demon days.

I spotted Kenjiro leaving with the same girl, scoffing. "Have you no sense of loyalty?"

Of course they didn't hear me since they were far away, but I didn't care.

I saw Kenjiro go down and the girl picking him up, showing she had cuffs on his wrists.

I had no idea he was into that.

"Stand up, Kenjiro! I can't be late you lazy and drunk fool."

The situation looked highly suspicious so I called 119 to go check it out, not wanting to deal with it.

My priority was taking care of (y/n) and I left the scene, mumbling at how stupid people were.
