[00] The Beginning of the End
This has ZERO relation to my first Yandere Kageyama story [Just Your Kohai]! Go check it out if you dare ;) It's an emotional rollercoaster.
Warnings: do NOT compare my works to Killing Stalking OR be rude in the comments. I also do NOT allow speech translations.
Due to this story being a work of pure fanfiction, it will have unexpected twists that are NOT in the manga.
Let's get this story started :0
Reader POV
"ONE TOUCHE!!!!!!"
I cheered louder, grabbing Tooru's arm. "GO EITA!!!"
Poor Tooru groaned in annoyance. "Let go of my arm! You'll rip it off."
I smirked at him. "You're just jealous that Karasuno made it to the finals before nationals."
Iwaizumi on Tooru's other side snickered. "You heard the lady, Shittykawa."
I ignored the arguing duo and saw my brother go in for another serve, but Karasuno cut him off.
Sadly, Shiratorizawa lost.
But at the same time, I was happy to hear that my cousin Sugawara Koshi finally made it to nationals as he and the other third-years never went before now.
I saw Karasuno go attack Tsukishima, Kageyama, and of course poor Hinata.
The demon coach of Shiratorizawa ordered the boys to practice 100 serves later, much to my older brother's annoyance.
"Well, it looks like we'll have to part ways, my little Kohai," Tooru patted my head.
I frowned. "Just because I'm Just Your Kohai doesn't mean you have to say it everytime, Senpai."
He snickered. "I know. Just reminding you that you'll have to suffer another two years at Shiratorizawa. You should've come to Seijoh."
I rolled my eyes and moved him away from me. "Whatever, Crappykawa. Cya later, Iwaizumi."
He saluted me before dragging my best friend away, yelling at him.
Eita was wiping sweat from his forehead as we got onto the bus. "I can't believe in my final year we won't be going to nationals," he sighed.
I noticed how Tsutomu was about to cry again as Hayato placed a reassuring hand on him. "Yeah. But at least you tried your best."
Wakatoshi looked at his left hand. "I still can't believe that number 11 managed to block my spike,"
"Also number 10," I said.
"Well, it was more of a recieve," Kenjiro said as he sat next to me on the bus, casting a look at the ace of the team.
I looked out the window to see the setter from Karasuno staring at my cousin, asking him some questions.
"CRAP!" I cursed as I pulled out my phone to call Koshi.
I saw in the darkness how his phone turned on and he answered the call. "Hey, (n/n)!"
"Hey, Koshi! You played awesome out there!" I smiled as the bus pulled out. "Oh, hi, Kageyama. I know you can hear me."
"Who is this?"
I rolled my eyes and leaned on Kenjiro's shoulder, not caring he wasn't exactly smelling like something sweet. "Your future opponent. Don't worry, Shiratorizawa will come back in the fall stronger than ever."
"Who even are you?"
"Like I said. Your future opponent."
Koshi let out a laugh. "Nah, that's just my cousin, Semi (y/n)."
"That's me, bitch."
Before Koshi could scold me for cursing, I ended the call and threw my phone into my bag so I could stop bothering the others who were tired and wanted to sleep.
Kenjiro wrapped his arms around me. "Thanks for supporting us at the game, (n/n)."
I leaned my head up and kissed his jaw. "No problem, tacky hair."
"Hey!"
"Did I stutter? Now shut up and sleep."
We arrived back at the dorms and I helped my older brother set up the net so each of them could practice 100 serves each.
Eventually, I fell asleep so Eita brought me to the dorm room that I shared with my best friend Nakamura Koi.
Kenjiro wanted to bring me back to the girl's dorms, but it was forbidden to bring females to their dorms unless they were family and vise-versa.
When I woke up next, Koi was already up.
"Good day to be alive," she greeted me. "Someone left a package at the gate of the school for you."
"They did? What did they look like?"
She shrugged. "Ushijima said it was some setter from Karasuno."
So it's probably Kageyama since Koshi can just text me to meet up if he had something to give me.
"Alright." I eyed the package and opened it up. "Huh?"
Inside was a single pillow with cute designs of boba.
"Hm..." I eyed it skeptically. "Why would Kageyama give me a gift? He must've gotten-"
"Girl, shut the fuck up. He probably has a crush on you or something," Koi slapped my back. "And lucky for you I know a thing about guys."
"Whatever." I turned on my phone to see texts from my mom and of course Kenjiro.
I answered them quickly before finding Kageyama's social media and contacting him.
(username): Hey. It's Semi but ✨younger and female✨
Milk_boi: K
(username): why did you give me a gift?
Milk_boi: Sugawara told me to drop it off.
He sent a screenshot of the texts between himself and my cousin.
(username): alright cool. Thanks.
Milk_boi: sure.
I sent a quick text to Koshi to confirm it.
Koshi did and my worries vanished.
If only I didn't do that.
Little did I know, but that was the triggering point that would spark something dangerous.
Oh, if only I knew that I should've never trusted him.
Now, poor Kenjiro was dead and his body stuffed and doused with chemicals to keep his skin intact.
My brother Eita was hanging in the forest somewhere, his legs and arms thrown somewhere in the lake right by the isolated cottage Kageyama kept me in.
The evil man forced himself on me nightly, beating me badly if I refused.
But sometimes he would just leave me broken on the blood-stained floor and go make himself food.
Of course, he fed us canned foods and crap that campers and broke college students lived off of.
Sure there was a garden in the back filled with vegetables, but the cold killed off the plants.
I stepped into the lake, allowing the cold water to reach my ankles and dampen the bottom of my white dress that Kageyama loved to see me in.
"Hey Tooru," I said as I stepped out of the water and walked to his grave.
He had tried to save me a long time ago and he was set on fire.
I didn't even want to think about it.
Kageyama also kept his teeth in a jar, placing it on the mantel above the fireplace as a reminder of what would happen if anyone else tried to save me.
"(y/n)!"
The very devil called out to me.
I turned around and walked towards the cabin knowing that if I didn't, he'd hurt Iwaizumi who was kept in the attic as a way to make me obey him.
In other words, I was stuck.
And I had no way of escaping.
But then I realized I could leave.
After all, he couldn't hurt me in death.
I smiled as I thought of ways I could kill myself and take him down with me.
So I asked him if we could go swimming.
"In the cold?" He looked at me strangely. "No. We'll wait for the springtime to do so."
"Fine by me."
So I spent my final winter with the man I hated the most, knowing I wouldn't see anything ever again.
But then I realized I only needed to escape.
After all, someone needs to get Hajime out of the locked barn.
I wasn't even sure if the police had caught my secret message system I left in all the places Kageyama took us.
On the first day of spring, Kageyama allowed us to go swimming.
I dove underneath the water and used all my strength to hurl a heavy stone in the deeper parts where he was treading water.
He sank as I placed the stone on his feet.
Even if he somehow managed to survive, he couldn't go after us as the weight of the stone would break the bones.
I swam away from him, smirking at his angered face as he drowned.
I ran inside the house and grabbed money and the keys to the barn, running towards Hajime with a spare set of clothes.
"Let's go!" I shouted to him. "We can get medical supplies when we get to town!"
And we left the lake hand in hand.
But too bad I didn't check to make sure my trap worked.
