Chapter 58: That's Pure Evil
"Dear! Are you alright?!" Aed said and brought a towel to him. "Why are you sweating so much?"
Ember slowly opened his eyes to see his mom with a towel and a bottle of water. "M-om"
"Ah! Thank God you still remember me! How are you feeling right now?"
"Remember...?" Ember paused but Aed didn't say anything so that he could continue saying. "What do I need to remember, mom?"
"Um..do you remember your name?"
"...Ember?"
She sighed in relief. "Yes, Ember Cardilia Helberg." She smiled.
"Where are we mom?"
She hesitated. "At the hospital."
"W-what for?"
"You weren't waking up.."
"For...how long..?"
"Almost two months..." She answered and he was in shock. He looked around himself and searched for something in the hospital room with his eyes. He didn't seem to find it and felt disappointed.
Soon, two doctors entered the room to check up on Ember. He looked fine, as said by the doctors but they wanted to keep him for a few more days until they find him even better and flawless.
Two days later, he was discharged and he could go home. He wasn't really happy about it. As they traveled back to Home, he started recollecting memories. He remembered almost everything but couldn't remember what he had to remember.
"What do I have to remember?" He asked to himself but his mom heard him and replied.
"Do you remember your guitar?"
"Yeah. And also my favorite song."
"Which one is it?"
"Can't stand it..."
"Do you remember the person who-"
"Arorhea..." He spoke her name after almost two months. His mother stayed quiet.
"...Ember? Do you know I have a surprise for you."
"Wow." He said, without any emotion as he stared out of the window.
"Someone is coming to see you." She smiled. He looked at her with eyes wide open.
"Who is it mom?!" He asked with excitement.
"Your cousins." She said and he looked out of the window once again in disheartenment. Aed felt sorry for him. "She's in India, Ember."

At home, Ember found two boys waiting for him at the reception. He was shocked. Not because of the fact that he had visitors, but, the fact that they looked completed alike. Ember was stunned at this and so were the boys. He went upto them and when they all came in contact, they felt a tinkling feeling within themselves but couldn't understand it and express it to each other.
Even Aed was completely in shock when she got to know that the sons of her sisters looked just like her own son.
To celebrate his return and the discovery of the lookalike cousins, Mr Helberg thought of this brilliant idea of having a small get together and invite some of his friends over for dinner.
It was a fine evening, everyone celebrated Ember's return after a long time. It was all fine until they all sat together to have dinner. A guest who was not really welcomed by him sat right in front of him. She examined the three brothers and was amused.
"Ember, you haven't introduced your brothers to your girlfriend." Sabrina grinned, crossing her legs under the table.
"Oh yeah, Ember, you haven't." Maple smirked at Ember. Ember looked at her with disgust and Loraine got an idea that something was wrong between the two of them —Sabrina and Ember.
It was midnight and the guests finally left, except for Sabrina and her father. As the special guests of Mr Helberg, they were requested to stay the night over. Aed hated this idea. She sneaked into Ember's room where the three of them were supposed to stay for the night. Ember insisted her to tell him about what happened when he wasn't in his senses.

"What? Ember's at hospital?" Sabrina enquired.
"Yes, dear. And I'm really sorry to tell you about this." Mr Wilson said, as both of them sat to have lunch together.
"Will he make it out alive?"
"I've actually spoken to the Helberg family about this. The doctor said that he might lose his memories, or it can be his life...as well."
"That means he'll die soon?"
"I'm afraid."
"Then that means that I don't have to stick around him anymore, right? He's going to die anyways."
"But you love him, don't you?"
"I do but if he's not gonna be here anymore, what's the point, right? I'll seek other boys then."
Mr Wilson kept quiet, and stunned by his daughter's words. "You could at least pay him visit."
"Nah. That won't be necessary."
"I heard he's not in his senses.."
"Then why do I need to visit him?" Sabrina asked irritatedly. "If he isn't in his senses, if he's gonna lose his memories, if he's gonna die after all, what's the point of loving him?"
"But dear, that's not love-"
"Dad, please, at least I know what love is better than that pathetic Indian girl!"
"Arorhea Laghari?"
"Her name is disgusting, don't say her name!"
"Now that I think of it, maybe that girl was innocent. Because she doesn't seem to be that horrible."
"She IS horrible!"
"Do you really think she could do all that stuff? She's so little."
"No she didn't do it actually. But I just hate her!"
"Wait. What? She didn't do it? What do you mean?"
"Uhh dad, that was fake and made up by me!"
"WHAT?! TELL ME ABOUT IT!"
"Ugh dad, you know that Mrs Rosa Park's grandson's death is still a mystery so we helped the cops by solving the mystery and blaming it on her."
"Wait a minute, you mean to say that all of that was fake?!"
"Duh."
"Oh my God, Sabrina, that's pure evil!"
"Does that even matter?" She gave off a careless vibe.
"Oh my goodness!" Mr Wilson got up and rushed out of the dining room.
He felt ashamed of what he had done in the past because of her daughter. He tried to call Mr Helberg but he thought that if he tells him all about it, their friendship might break and his company might collapse. So he kept it a secret for a long time.

"But how do YOU know about it, mom?" Ember asked.
"Well, you see, he called me a few days after that and told me about this. He thought that we might do something about this together so that everything stays how it is and the truth is exposed. He's a nice man after all. I was wrong about him all along. Do you think we can do something about it?"
"I knew something was up with this Sabrina girl." Loraine said.
"Aw, but she seemed cute, who knew she'd be this evil." Maple said.
"Hey guys, I have a plan. But first tell me if she has noticed the differences among us." Ember said.
"I don't think so."
"Good, then listen up." He winked and told them about his masterplan.
