"Allison!" I yell as loud as possible as I run to the lacrosse field, scanning the stands for her. My heart races in my chest faster when I don't see her; only finding a bunch of people scattered as if they were leaving. That was when I looked out and saw that the game was over.

I run my fingers through my hair as I think of what to do, feeling completely alone. I needed to go get Allison and tell her what was happening, but how was I supposed to get to her house? It's not like I can drive or anything like that.

Wait.

Maybe I can drive. If I can use my trigger long enough I just might be able to...

I look over to the parking lot and start to run towards it, looking for a decent car that someone might not mind being demolished. None of the cars seem fitting before I stop and look closer towards the school, finding a blue jeep that was the crappiest thing I've ever seen. That should work.

The wind whips against my face as I begin to run over to it, but I soon stop short. I hear another sniffle as I turn around, seeing that Lydia Martin was still in her car crying. Normally I would feel bad, but her still being here only made me glad. She could hear me; meaning that she could either help Stiles or go get other help.

I turn and run towards her car, seeing that her window was still rolled down from when Stiles was talking to her. Mascara was still streaming down her cheeks as she held a tissue, wiping some of the make up off every now and again. I still wondered why she was crying in the first place.

"Lydia," I say quickly, causing her to look around furiously. I hold my breath as I wait for her to answer, watching her as her sad expression turned into confusion.

"Hello?" she calls out, not saying it very loudly.

I bite my lower lip. "Lydia, you need to listen to me or else someone might die."

"Who is that!" she screams this time, causing a group of teenagers to look over towards her like she was mental. I felt bad for her. "Leave me alone!"

"I'm trying to help," I say, knowing that I was losing her attention fast. "You need to go find Allison and tell her to come to the school. Tell her that her friend said it's an emergency."

Lydia sobs as she grabs her head. "I'm going insane. I really am going crazy."

"You're not crazy Lydia," I say, leaning up against the car. "I need you to do that for me please. I'll leave you alone after you do this one thing."

Lydia perks up slightly. "Just this one thing and then you'll stop talking to me?"

I nod my head even though she can't see. "I promise."

Lydia nods slightly as she wipes her tears away. "Okay. I'll go tell her."

I nod my head. "Hurry please."

She nods once again as she rolls her window up, starting her car and beginning to pull out of the parking lot. I quickly slide into the passenger seat without her knowing and ride alone beside her, wanting to go with her to get Allison.

You might be asking why I'm making Lydia say something to Allison, which is because I need someone to get Allison away from her parents for a good reason. After all, why would they believe a dead guy?

Lydia sniffles a little as she speeds off down the road, the car deathly silent. The more I thought about it, the more I felt bad for Lydia. If she could hear me, I wonder who else she could hear that was dead. I would literally go out of my mind if I had to hear all of those voices.

"Almost there," Lydia says to herself, her voice at a whisper. I could tell that she was ecstatic knowing that after doing this one little thing that she would be free of the voices; which may or may not be true. I'll hold up my end of the bargain, but I don't know about any of the other voices.

I wonder what Stiles and Derek are doing. I know that Stiles won't be able to keep Derek above water for very long, meaning that we really needed to hurry. A part of me was angry that I didn't stay and try to help, but I knew that the real help was beyond me. They needed someone alive. They needed someone who could kill that creature.

And that was Allison.

Lydia takes a deep breath as she pulls in front of Allison's house, getting out quickly and practically running to the door. I follow after her quickly as she knocks, waiting for someone to answer the door. I however don't even bother waiting; I decided to go on inside and find Allison.

When I first stepped inside, I could hear talking coming from the dinning room. This causes me to furrow my eyebrows as I turn and walk into the room, finding two people I sure didn't expect. First there was Gerard, but then sitting right beside Allison was Scott.

Allison looks up at me with wide eyes as I look back at her the same way. "Stiles and Derek-"

"Who is it Victoria?" I hear Allison's father yell, stopping me short. Allison stares at me for a moment before she looks away, acting as if I wasn't even here.

Victoria walks back into the room with Lydia in tow. "Lydia is here to see you Allison."

Allison looks up at her friend before she stands, confused more than ever. "What are you doing here Lydia?"

"Can I talk to you?" Lydia says, glancing around at everyone.  "Privately."

Allison nods. "Yeah--sure."

Allison looks back at me one more time before she follows Lydia into another room, leaving Scott in a room with her family. Poor guy.

I turn and follow Allison and Lydia out into the hallway as Lydia talks to her at a low whisper. "I know this sounds crazy, but you need to go to the school. It's an emergency."

"What are you talking about Lydia?" Allison asks. "What emergency?"

Lydia shakes her head. "I don't know, but someone told me to tell you. Said that they were a friend of yours."

Allison thinks for a moment before she looks over at me, giving me a panicked look . "Okay uh, I'll go over there. Thanks for telling me."

Lydia nods. "Allison, who is it? Your friend?"

Allison thinks for a moment. "Just someone I used to know."

"Oh," Lydia says as I wait for her to leave, desperately wanting to speak to Allison.

"You better get home," Allison says while leading Lydia to the door. "It's been a long day."

Lydia nods. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"See ya," Allison says before Lydia walks out the door, leaving the two of us alone.

Allison faces me. "What happened?"

I take a deep breath. "Erica came and took Stiles to the pool where Derek was and then that creature came and attacked them. They're stuck in the pool right now."

Allison's eyes widen. "Oh my God. Are they alright?"

I nod. "Erica is just knocked out and Stiles is fine, but Derek is paralyzed."

Allison runs her fingers through her hair as her father yells from the dinning room. "Allison!"

"In a minute!" Allison yells back.

I furrow my eyebrows. "What is going on in there?"

"Family dinner," Allison says, sighing. "With Scott."

"Allison!" her mother yells this time. "Finish your food!"

Allison groans this time before stomping back into the room, not bothering to sit down. "Lydia said that there's something I'm needed for at the school. Same with Scott."

Scott looks up with furrowed eyebrows as Allison's parents stare at her, Gerard looking as well. "What for? We're still eating-"

"All I know is that it was an emergency," Allison says, using Lydia's words. "They told us to hurry before it got too late."

Chris and Victoria look at one another, suspicious of something. For a moment I was thinking that they wouldn't let her go, but Gerard leans forwards and places his hands on the table. "Let the kids go, Chris. I'm sure it's of some importance."

Chris sighs before glaring over at Scott. "Hurry back."

Allison nods as Scott scurries out of his chair, clearly desperate to get out of that awkward situation. I wanted to ask Allison what he was doing there in the first place, but it was going to have to wait. Allison walks back into the hallway before turning to me quickly, whispering so only I could hear.

"Look for the Bestiary upstairs," she says, nodding her head. "It's in Gerard's room in the safe."

I shake my head. "But Allison-"

"Thank God," Scott interrupts me. "I thought I was going to die in there. Why do they need us at the school?"

Allison looks back at me. "It's Stiles. He's in trouble."

Scott's eyes widen as he starts to run to the door. "Well come on then-"

I watch as Scott runs out the door, heading towards Allison's car as she stands there staring at me. "Please, Corey. We'll be fine."

I groan slightly as she smiles faintly, turning and walking out of the house. My legs don't move for a moment as I stay there, wanting to desperately go after the two of them. That creature was still at the school; and I sure as hell didn't want it hurting Allison. But the more I thought about it, I realized that Scott will protect her and that I needed to find that book. One of the reason's being to figure out what that creature is and to figure out how to bring me back.

I listen to Allison and Scott drive away before I turn around, looking up the stairs before making my way upwards. As I walk up the stairs, I can hear some of the conversation that they were having in the dinning room.

"...well he is a sweet kid."

"He's anything but sweet."

"Why is that?"

"You haven't even been here for a week yet, dad. You don't know who's sweet and who's not."

I zone out of the conversation when I realize that they're talking about Scott, who didn't really peak my interest anyways. It sounds to me though that Gerard still has yet to learn that Scott is a werewolf, but I guess he'll save that for another day.

I make my way towards Gerard's room as I stop and glance inside of Allison's; finding it looking the same as it had before we left for the lacrosse game. I take a deep breath before I turn back to Gerard's room, walking through the door and stepping inside.

My eyes scan the plain looking room before they land on a black safe in the corner, making my heart race. I know that I'm invisible and all, but doing this still unsettled my nerves for some odd reason. Maybe it's because I've never really done anything like this before; dead or alive.

I slowly kneel in front of the safe, my eyes scanning the combination lock. I chuckle slightly before I stick my head inside of the safe, seeing nothing but complete darkness. I bite my lower lip as I strain my eyes to see through the blanket of black, but it was useless. There was no way I'd be seeing anything anytime soon without getting this door open, which was impossible for me.

I decide to try and feel around for the book, if I could focus long enough to "feel" it. I slowly stick my hand inside of the safe as well as I close my eyes, thinking long and hard about my trigger. My fingers slowly wiggle around and I touch something, sending chills up my spine. It was something smooth and cold; must be the wall of the safe.

It takes me a moment, but I eventually feel all the way around the safe and find the book. It had an odd feeling to it; like it wasn't thick enough to have the whole list of the supernatural creatures inside of it. I strain my eyes once again to try and read a page of it, but I couldn't see a single thing. Well, that was before I found a slight crack in the door of the safe, allowing just a little tiny ray of light to shine through.

I quickly lift the book up as I focus, putting it into the light so I could read the first page of it. It takes me awhile to finally read the big bold printing, but when I do read it, all of the hope drains from me. This wasn't the Bestiary. This was a cookbook.

I groan loudly as I throw the book back down inside of the safe, pulling my head and arm out of the safe as well. My eyes have to adjust for a moment before I'm quickly standing, angry that we spent all of this time to find this dumb book when it wasn't even what we were looking for. Where in the world could Gerard be keeping it-

Wait a minute. His keychain; the one that Stiles had. It had a USB port on it, meaning that maybe it wasn't actually a book. Maybe it was actually a file? It's a wild guess, but that's the only place I can think of at the moment.

I have to tell Allison.

Okay this was literally the worst chapters of all chapters, but trust me it will start picking up soon. At least I included some Cordia in there! Is that their ship name? Idek
