Today is Monday!! I'm staying over Tal's today, but I wonder what we're going to do...

I arrive at the door and smile. 

"Addi! Good to see you!" he smiled back. I kept my grin. "What are we doing today?" I ask. He didn't answer. Instead, he pointed to a pile of pillows and blankets. I didn't get it. What was that supposed to mean? I cocked my head to the side and went to look.

 My hands roamed the fabrics and I was drawn to some of the designs... purple chevron pillow... silky blanket.... What did he have planned?

"Tal," I say, curious, "What's all this for?"

He grinned. "We're making a fort!" My eyes lit up. A fort? I haven't made one of those since the orphanage. I couldn't wait to start!

(30 minutes later)

We stood in the midst of the result. Many blankets pinned high up... pillows scattered on the floor... fairy lights making the room sparkle. I snuggled into a blanket and switched the television on. I clicked the little Cartoon Network logo and we binged on cartoons. Four episodes of Adventure Time later, Tal went off into the kitchen. I heard him shuffling on the tile floors and rumaging in the freezer. 

He came back with two small bowls of vanilla ice cream drizzled in honey. He always knew what made me happy. So we spent the rest of the day under our tent... eating ice cream and watching cartoons.
