King!Reaper X Dancer!Geno

This is going to be split up into parts due to it being so long so this is the first park of the dancers parade!

Hope you guys enjoy!

"Dream! Look it's going to start!" Little Reaper squealed from the castle window, on the ground below monsters and humans crowded around a parade moving it's way through the village.

Different colors of confetti and the sounds of lively music flooded the air, Reaper jumped and nearly fell out of the window in excitement.

Dream quickly grabbed onto him and let out a relived gasp, he looked around nervously and crouched down to Reapers hight.
"Be more careful, I don't know what your mother would do if she found out you're watching...." Dream told the small Prince out of worry, his mother has always been strict about things and the parade was something she was not fond of.

"Look! The dancers are coming!" Reaper said excitedly, ignoring the other's word's, and tugged on Dream's sleeve.

The crowd below hollered in excitement as the dancers began to walk from the platform of a small carriage out into the ground. The music boomed through out the entire kingdom and the dancers began to dance to the beat.

But before Reaper had a chance to even see a woman's voice was heard in the room.

"Reaper?"

"Oh! Your Highness!" Dream said and immediately bowed, Reaper gasped and turned his head to his mother and looked at the ground guiltily.

"What where you doing, Reaper?" She asked suspiciously and looked out to the window, she sighed and gave Reaper a small glare seeing the parade outside.

"Tch, what have I told you about watching that stupid parade?" Reaper's mother scowled.

"But mom-"

"No buts," The queen snapped and took Reaper's hand, they both started to walk to the door, Reaper whining in protest.

"No whining, that's no way a future king should act." The queen stated and tightened her grip on his hand.

Reaper sighed and gave in, "Yes mama."

"Good," The queen said and opened the door, both of them started to walk down a long marble hallway. Every time they took a step the music from outside grew quieter and quieter.
"That silly parade with only distract you from your studies. Now, of too bed! You have your classes in the morning and it's very late. Goodnight."

".....Yes mama," Reaper grumbled and turned the door knob to his room, he would've slammed it shut if not knowing his mom was probably going to make him study a few more hours for that.

He flopped face first into his bed and sighed, the parade only comes once a year and last seven days. This was the last day and he might have lost his chance to see it.

A quiet knock on the door caught his attention and lifted his head from his bed.
"Come in?"

The door opened slowly and Dream's head popped into the room. He quietly tip toed through the door to the inside of Reaper's room and slowly closed it.

"What's wrong dream?" Reaper asked and sat at the edge of his bed. Dream looked over to him and put a finger to his lips and pointed to a desk.

"Grab a cloke, we're leaving through the escape exits." Dream smiled and pointed to the desk again.
It took a few seconds for Reaper to fully understand what Dream was doing, but when he did his eyes lit up and jumped off the bed.

"REALLY!?" Reaper laughed and jumped. Dream slightly flinched and looked at Reaper in slight panic and to the door.

"Ssshhhhh!" Dream said and pointed to the door, "Both of us could get in really big trouble if  anyone finds out."

Reaper nodded and put a hand to his mouth, he quietly walked to his closet to grab two clokes while Dream moved the desk from the wall. Dream traced his fingertips on the edges of a small line of the wall and gripped it tightly and pulled what seems to be a small door leading down a staircase.

"Are you ready?" Dream asked as Reaper basically ran to him.
Reaper nodded and handed him a cloke.

"Alright, let's go."

"Don't let go of my hand," Dream said seriously as both of them walked through a crowd of monsters and humans in the dark, they used the music that was playing afar as their guide to the parade.

Reaper nodded and made sure the hood of the cloke was covering his face well, Dream did the same and slightly pushed through a few monsters till they were in the side line of the parade.

"Whoa!!" Reaper gasped as a few fire monsters preformed tricks, a few of them even started to make a dragon out of fire and make it fly over the crowed.

Hours later, after many different tricks and different types of music being play, the music suddenly stopped and turned into a more lively theme.

"Hey," Reaper gasped and looked at the  carriage coming up, "The dancers are going to come, Dream!"

Dream hushed him and smiled, clapping along with the other humans and monsters as the dancers began to come down to the ground from a carriage that carried many of them.

Reaper watched as every dancer came down till the last two at the end. A woman with pink hair jumped down with a smile and looked back at the carriage.

A skeleton, Reaper's age, stood there looking nervously among the crowd. One half of their skull was painted with color patterns and flowers while the other side was covered, from what Reaper could make out of it, a glitch.
The skeleton wore cream colored pants and shirt with a brown beaded necklace, with a small gaster blaster in the middle.

Within a few moments
the skeleton hopped down to the pink Woman's side and did the same pose as she did. They looked everywhere nervously and slightly hid next to the woman.

Reaper watched as the band not to far away began to play the music. The skeleton was caught off guard by the dancers who already started to move. In a panic they tried to get back in with the moves but almost bumped into everyone and always seemed to stay off a beat or two.

Reaper watched in astonishment as the skeleton took a deep breath and immediately got back into the music. They twirled and and stayed to the beat along with the other dancers nailing every move.

Reaper smiled and swayed to the beat as well, the music had gone a bit faster and even Dream could see the dancers where being tired out, but in a split second the music stopped and every dancer held their head up eye and stayed frozen.

The skeleton that had been dancing eyes shot opened and looked around at the crowd nervously again. They kept their head up but jumped as the music played again and every dancer ran of to different sections of the crowd and bringing in monster and humans in the middle to dance with them.

The skeleton looked all over in a panic till their eyes fell on Reaper. In an instant the skeleton ran over to them and looked at Reaper pleadindly.

"Please dance with me!" They begged and held out a hand for Reaper. Reaper jumped in a panic as well, unsure of what to do.

"But I don't know how to dance-" Reaper yelped as the skeleton grabbed his hand and pulled him into the middle where they had been dancing at.

"I'm not good either but I don't want to be alone," They said nervously and looked at the other dancers for a signal to move.

Reaper raised a eyebrow as the skeleton grabbed onto his hands, "What do you mean you're not good? I saw you dancing and you looked professional!"

They blushed a small bit and began dancing, they spun reaper around and laughed.
"Really!? I'm still learning though!" They laughed over the music and the monsters and humans chanting.

"Yeah!" Reaper laughed and did his best to match the skeleton's moved, "I don't get to see people dance often but you were pretty cool!"

They smiled and took a step back pulling reaper with them, "How come!?" They asked.

Reaper shrugged and let go of their hand for a second before they both had to pull back, "My mom doesn't like me seeing them!"

"What!?" They gasped, both Reaper and them spun a few inches away from each other but grabbed onto each other's hands and pulled back together. "But it's one of the best things here!"

"I know!" Reaper laughed and took a step forward while they took a step back. They took a few steps to the left then to the right, the skeleton then brought them in so close that their foreheads almost touched. Seconds later they both leaned back using each other's hands for support.
The skeleton spun reaper one more time and the music stopped. They both stood still till all the dancers bowed to their partners.

Within seconds a burst of cheering and confetti filled the air, Reaper laughed and looked around.

"Is this your first parade?" The skeleton asked, all the dancers had left to the food stans or some talked to others while Reaper and them stayed in the same spot.

"Yeah," Reaper nodded and looked around, he couldn't seem to find Dream. The skeleton looked at him curiously before pointed to a small table over by the food stands.

"It's my first parade dancing, do you want to go sit over there?" The skeleton asked, Reaper nodded not seeing any harm in staying a while longer.

They smiled and led Reaper past the crowds of monsters and humans and sat at the table. Reaper did as well and began to stare at the skeleton's necklace.

"Hm?" The skeleton hummed and looked down, they grabbed the necklace and took it off, "Do you like it? You can have it if you want to."

Reaper shook his head and smiled, "No it's fine, it's yours!"

The skeleton laughed and handed it to him, "Nah, it's okay! Oh...my mom is calling me I have to go! See you tomorrow- ......oh wait..."

"Today is the last day isn't it?" Reaper said sadly, the skeleton nodded and looked around.

"Then....I'll see you next year then!" They laughed and looked to Reaper hopefully, Reaper nodded and dug into his pocket till he found a small pin. It had a small white flower designed and he handed it to the skeleton.

"Ok, next year then!" Reaper smiled and waved to the skeleton who left, he saw Dream a few feet away and ran to him. Dream turned to Reaper and gave a small sigh of relief, "There you are Reaper! Come now, it's very late, we should head  back now."

Reaper nodded and took Dream's hand as they both started to walk back to the castle. He looked back and managed to catch a glimpse of the skeleton that danced with him.

Only then he realized he never did learn that skeleton's name.

Nor did he see that skeleton again.
