Harry's P.O.V.

On Christmas Eve we had dinner with the Weasley's. They invited many people who I did not know but Ginny introduced me to all of them and of course all the girls were cooing over me. Luckily Ginny threatened them with her Bat-Bogey-hex and they left us alone. For dinner we had a delish roasted turkey. Earlier on in the day Ron and I went to Diagon Alley to pick out presents for the girls. I bought Ginny a puppy and Ron was giving Hermione an owl as she had never owned one. It was hard to keep the pets a secret but we placed a Silencio Charm on them so they couldn't make a noise. After we finished eating Bill spoke up. "Me and Fleur have an announcement to make!" Everyone's heads turned to them. Bill took a deep breath and exclaimed "Fleur's pregnant!!" Everything went silent. Then as if it took us 5 minutes to let the message sink in Mrs Weasley squealed and ran over to hug them both. There was a commotion as many people went to hug them. Hermione and I just sat and stared. We didn't move. "When's it due?" one of their cousins said. "Is it a boy or a girl?" Mr Weasley asks. "Fleurs around 4 months pregnant. The baby's due in around May'' Bill answered the first question. "And wez don't know about ze gender yet" Fleur said.

After dinner Bill asked me over and said "Harry how would you like to be our baby's godfather?" "M-me" I stammered "What about Ron or G-George?" "Imagine Ron or George being a godfather," Bill said with a smirk. "Yeah..." I replied. "So would you?" Bill questioned. "Of course" I said. Bill whispered "Ginny's gonna be godmother don't tell her I want to." I nodded my approval and walked away. I saw Ginny peeking from behind a wall. "What did Bill talk to you about?" Ginny asked. "He'll tell you" I answered. I pointed back to Bill who was motioning Ginny to go over to him. Ginny glared at me for a second before setting off down the hall to Bill. I saw Ginny's facial expression change from annoyed to excited. She nodded to Bill before she came skipping to me. "We're going to be godparents" GInny exclaimed, jumping into my arms. We started snogging in the middle of the corridor.

We found Ron and Hermione snogging senselessly on the couch. I rolled my eyes as Ginny yelled "HEY!!" Hermione made a move to pull away but Ron stopped. Ginny muttered something under her breath before turning around and kissing me on the mouth. "HARRY YOU GET YOUR BLOODY HANDS OF MY SISTER NOW!" Ron shouted. "RONALD!" Hermione said, trying to stop him from punching me. Ginny smirked before turning around and retorting "Well.... YOU WERE JUST SNOGGING HERMIONE ON THE COUCH SO WHY CAN'T I?!!!!" "B-Because YOU'RE MY SISTER!" Ronald said, struggling to find words. "And..." Ginny sniggered "YOU'RE MY BROTHER!!" Ron opened his mouth to say something but shut it again. Then we heard slamming footsteps coming from the stairs. All of us turned. It was Fleur and she did not look happy. "WHAT DO YOUZ ZINK YOUZ DOING" Fleur yelled "ITZ TEN AT ZE NIGHT!" We heard another set of footsteps coming down the stairs and saw Bill. He grabbed Fleur by the hand and took her upstairs. When we thought the coast was clear Bill returned. "Sorry about that" Bill apologized "Mood swings when you're pregnant. And by the way you four should get some sleep." With that Bill walked away back into his room. I took Ginny by the hand and we walked to h-our room. I climbed into bed, Ginny following behind me. We were silent for a while until Ginny whispered "I still remember all my wishes I wished for when I was a kid." I looked at her. "Every Christmas time" Ginny said blushing "I would wish that one day I would be with famous Harry Potter." "Well that happened didn't it?" I asked my face extremely close to hers. I kissed her. After that I said "My wish was that some family might take me away from the Dursleys one day." "It was so close to happening when Sirius was there but h-he died." I said looking away. "Oh Harry" Ginny said, moving my face back to staring at her. "But I did find a family," I replied. Ginny looked at me confused. "You're my family Ginny." I said looking her straight in the eye. "Even though we might not be blood related but I still consider your family my family." Ginny stayed quiet before she burst into tears and I held her. "Oh Harry" she whispered. Ginny buried her head in my chest. After a minute I heard Ginny's slow breathing. My eyes travelled to her face. Her eyes were closed, tear streak marks still on her face. I kissed her on the forehead before saying quietly "Goodnight Gin." Then I fell asleep with Ginny next to me.
