What Did You Give Him?

This oneshot is mostly here for laughs, so it's going to be much shorter than the rest. I hope you like this one! It's going to be freaking hilarious-

Oh, it's also been maybe a year and a half after Found, but all the friends are accounted for because they haven't parted ways yet BECAUSE THEY'RE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS AND THEY DON'T WANT TO-

~

Linda was skimming through a book, standing peacefully by the couch where Abby was reading and Rachel and Nanami were tickling each other relentlessly. Honestly, Linda wasn't sure how Rachel put up with tickling. Linda had always hated it and would never change her mind. She always felt like she was being attacked, and sometimes on instinct she would whip around and smack the person who tickled her (which would usually have been Rachel).

Linda smiled as she remembered a time when Gabriel had grabbed her shoulders from behind to scare her - but ended up with a bruise on his cheek from Linda whirling around and punching him straight in the jaw in fright. He never did that again, although there were still times that he scared her from a safe distance.

Shintaro had recently learned that Linda wasn't a "flight" person, and although he didn't mean to startle her, she'd accidentally shoved him into the nearest wall. Shintaro wasn't hurt, and frankly, he thought it was hilarious. He wouldn't stop his tiny giggles for over twenty minutes whenever Linda looked at him.

Linda loved Shintaro's laugh. Most of the time, he would erupt into half-suppressed giggles that no one ever expected to hear from him. Whenever he thought something was funny, he would giggle at it for a bit, pause, replay whatever was funny in his head, and start giggling again. Linda thought it was absolutely adorable. His full laugh was also amazing, because it was loud and hearty, like it was ready to burst forth from somewhere deep inside him.

Because Shintaro laughing was usually a rare moment, Linda cherished it all.

Linda realized that she'd lost her place on the page and sighed, giving up the book. She set it down on the arm of the couch and smiled faintly down at Nanami, who was squirming beneath Rachel's hands with loud giggles of delight.

Shintaro suddenly appeared around the nearest shelf, but there was definitely something off about him. He wore a strange, rare grin that Linda liked seeing; but he was walking weirder than she'd ever seen him walk. With each quick step, he would rock one shoulder forward, making the top half of his body sway back and forth slightly. He was speed-walking toward them, but it was strange because of what he was doing with his shoulders.

Abby looked up and spotted her father, and her expression immediately went from content to baffled then trying not to laugh in confusion.

Falte appeared a moment later, hurrying to follow Shintaro with a pinched mouth that indicated he was trying not to laugh either.

Confused dread settled over Linda as she realized that Shintaro was shoulder-speed-walking toward her. What was he grinning about? What did he want? What did Falte do to him?

"What did you give him?" Rachel asked Falte curiously as Shintaro approached with a wide grin.

"Jellybeans," Falte answered with a small, repressed giggle. "That's it, I swear."

Shintaro locked eyes with Linda and smiled wider.

Linda quickly picked up her book and pretended to ignore Shintaro, hoping that whatever he was planning would stop because she wasn't paying attention to him.

But she figured out that she probably shouldn't have looked away.

Shintaro hurried up to her from behind and smacked her playfully right on the butt.

"SHINTARO!?" Linda yelped, dropping her book and spinning around to face him.

But he was already shoulder-speed-walking away, giggling like a madman.
