Finally the winter breaks end and at last Linda is old enough to go to high school.

Just the first day, and BOM! Most of the students had their eyes on her. Not just students who are in same grade as her, but also the seniors from upper grade.

Thus, Linda Erine become the talk of the school just like Stephanie when she first come to school. Pretty, fashionable, cool personality and charming smile, numbers of boys and girls melted by those traits.

And that made Snow Erine, the elder sister of Linda noticed by everyone as well.

But unlike Linda who shone too brightly on her first day, Snow couldn't be seen by anyone. Not because she's being plain, but she didn't even come to school.

Many questions raised especially the students from her grade. Where is she? Why didn't she come on her first day? Did something happen? They could only guess, but only Linda knew the truth.

"Where is she on the first day?" Asked Zein as she frowned.

"Yeah, but it's not like she would tell us if she really intended to absent" said Amy, knowing how long it's been since Snow last contacted them.

"Still, she's that type of person. Did something actually happened to her?" Asked Nana, obviously worried if bad things did happen.

Suddenly, a tall boy approach them, seemingly looking around to find someone. "Where's White?"

Nana looked at him in disgust. "She obviously not your 'white', why would you looking for her?"

"We are... err friends?" Said Jean, actually stating the truth but was not confident enough about it. Afterall, he did became a jerk in front of those girls' eyes. "Look, I know I was a really bad guy but trust me, she already forgave me, okay?"

Jean looked at them with earnest eyes, trying to gain their trust, but sadly whatever he did or excuses he made, he will still looks bad to them.

Not wanting to continue talking to that guy, Zein's eyes suddenly caught a girl's figure. "Tiana!"

Tiana who were just passing stopped before turned to look at them. One of her eyebrows raised, as if asking for their intention for calling her. Chantelle who was beside her also took a stop.

"Did Ice ever tell you where she is?"

"No, why would she?"

"Aren't you friends?" Asked Nana.

"Duh, we just hang out together. You know, same standard?"

Nana's face turned into a frown because of dissatisfaction for their answer. She wanted to talk more, but realise that she couldn't.

Seeing how three of them become quite, Tiana and Chantelle walked away, not giving any more faces to them.

Mikael was leaning on the wall of the school gate, as if waiting for someone. When a certain girl with attractive aura came out, he quickly approached her.

Mika held out his hand before suddenly grabbed Linda's wrist. Linda and her friends (also some students around) turned to look at him weirdly. Realising his hasty and thoughtless action, Mika almost let go of his grip, but suddenly tighten it.

"We need to talk," said Mika seriously.

"Dear senior, I don't think this is how you ask a junior to talk to you" said Linda brazenly with her eyes looked down on his gripping hand. But Mika didn't show any sign to let go.

"Let's go"

With his hand still on her wrist, Mika brought her to a secluded place beside the school compound where there's no other students could be seen.

"Long time no see," greeted Mika, though there's no smile on his face.

Annoyed by the dragging time, Linda immediately cut out the greeting even though the one who stood in front of her is someone older. "Straight to the point"

"I've heard from Amy. Apparently Snow wasn't used to be like that, she changed after she had a breakup with a guy" Mika said seriously.

Linda had an unsinterested look on her face, showing that she obviously doesn't want to talk to him. But Mika still proceed his talk without even caring about it.

"I know it's hurt, but it wouldn't be strong enough to trigger that thing"

Hearing that statement, immediately Linda flinched in anger before her eyes glared the blond haired man in front of her.

"You call the person who protected my sister 'that thing'?" Asked Linda with her eyes sharply glared him.

Both of them continued the staring contest in silence for a few seconds before Mika choose to break it.

"After I see you at the birthday party, I suddenly remembered" said Mika as he walked toward her.

"What do you want?" Hissed Linda as she stepped back slowly. She really wanted to get out of there as fast as she can.

"Tell me Linda Erine," whispered Mika loud enough as he stepped forward, making that girl to back away until her back touched the school wall. She could no longer escape.

With domineering eyes and voice, Mika asked.

"You are the one behind all of these, right?"

The brunette girl with ocean blue eyes, Linda Erine simply glared at him in grimace.
