BACKSTORY:
kylie was born to an extremely wealthy family from the early 1900's. she of course grew up privileged and quite spoiled, which not every girl her age was at that time. many people didn't have the things she did, which caused her to be an entitled brat. she never cared for anyone else but herself and was quite selfish. she came across the salvatore brothers and became good friends with them. she was specifically infatuated with damon, but nothing ever came from their relationship. she eventually moved on but remained good friends with them, so when kylie was engaged to her fiancée, thomas, she got sick with influenza and died. damon was the one who saved her and turned her into a vampire. when she woke up she was shocked to find out what happened and confused. she didn't understand much and lashed out at damn and even stefan for making her way the way she was because she couldn't live a normal life. she stayed with her family for a bit, but because of what happened to her she reluctantly left them. she spent the following years traveling and meeting new people, because being a vampire she couldn't exactly stay in one place and settle down. she'd only killed one person in her life and that was during the 60's when she almost got robbed in los angeles. cut forward to present time she's settled down in mystic falls for a bit, working as a bartender
