BACKSTORY:
for most of isabella's childhood she was traumatized by their father, who emotionally abusive to her and the rest of her families. she grew to despise her father because of the way he treated his children. when she and her siblings turned, she left with them in order to avoid being hunted by their father. klaus controlled them and was beyond strict, and isabella simply followed what he order because she didn't want to make her brother upset. it wasn't until recently she decided to start being rebellious and truly make herself happy. she always felt like she was in the shadows or her brothers, and all the blonde wanted was to live her life. she eventually meets the salvatore brothers, becoming best friends with both of them. she ultimately falls for stefan, but she was afraid to ever make any moves since her brother klaus always made sure she and rebekah were never happy. it is one of the major reasons she is so close to her sister. she manages to forgive her brother because she believes in family and she wouldn't know what to do with either of them. isabella only wants to protect her family and be happy with stefan, but in their world nothing ever goes well
