Jason's POV
I tackled Piper in a hug and kissed her again. Gods, I was so happy! We were engaged! I smiled and looked into her eyes. "Now let's go tell the rest of the seven," I smiled.
"First, let's IM our parents, I know at least my mom would be fuming if we didn't tell her we are engaged immediately," Piper smiled.
"True," I replied, "I do not want to see an angry Aphrodite, especially if she's angry because one of her 'favorite ships' didn't tell her we are engaged."
Piper grabbed a drachma out of her pocket and found a water bottle. She slowly let it fall to the floor, creating some mist. "O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, please show us Zeus and Aphrodite." She said, throwing the drachma into the water. A shimmering image appeared of Zeus and Aphrodite sitting in their thrones on Mount Olympus.
"Hey dad!" I called to Zeus.
"Hey mom!" Piper called to Aphrodite.
"Jason! Piper!" Aphrodite squealed.
"Hello, son," Zeus said.
"We have some important news," I said, "Almost specifically for you, Aphrodite."
"We're engaged!" Piper exclaimed, holding out her hand to show of the ring I gave to her. It had a golden band and a simple diamond.
"Yes!" Aphrodite squealed, "I love the ring."
"Congratulations, son, and soon to be Mrs. Grace," Zeus smiled. I will say, this is one of the few times I have seen Zeus smile for longer than a few seconds.
"Okay, we got to go, but tell the gods they are invited to our wedding!" I said.
"I'm planning it!" Aphrodite squealed, again. Piper rolled her eyes with a smile.
"Bye!" Piper called out. I slid my hand through the image and looked at Piper.
"Now let's go tell the rest of the seven," I said.
"And then my cabin so the word gets around," Piper smiled.
"Sounds good," I smiled. I held out my hand and she took it, and we walked out of the Zeus cabin and to the Poseidon cabin, where Percy and Annabeth are most likely hanging out. I knocked on the door and Percy opened it. I saw Annabeth in the back, sitting on a bunk. "We have some news," I smiled. With that, Annabeth came running to the door.
"What's the news!" She exclaimed.
"We're engaged!" Piper and I said together.
"I knew it would happen soon!" Annabeth exclaimed.
"Congrats, you two," Percy smiled.
"Have you told Aphrodite yet?" Annabeth asked.
"Of course," I replied, "I don't want to make her angry."
"Smart move," Percy replied.
"Anyway, we're off to tell the rest of the seven, see you guys later!" Piper exclaimed. We then ran off to Bunker 9 to meet up with Leo and Calypso. We walked inside and saw Leo and Calypso making out in the corner. I cleared my voice very loudly, and they stopped and turned towards us. Calypso blushed bright red.
"Come on, why did you have to ruin the moment!" Leo complained, making Calypso giggle.
"Well, we just got engaged and thought you might want to know," Piper said.
"Yes!" Leo exclaimed, "Finally Superman and Beauty Queen! I've been waiting for this since Wilderness School!"
"Way to expect," I laughed.
"Congratulations," Calypso smiled.
"Okay, we better head out, bye guys!" Piper called out.
"Bye!" Leo exclaimed. We walked out of Bunker 9 and to the Big House. Since Frank and Hazel were both Romans, they stayed inside the Big House. When we walked into the Big House, Frank and Hazel were curled up on the couch watching a movie. We told them the news and they were so excited. And I thought, all in all, today was a pretty fabulous day.
