1: Leo's Back!
Percy's POV
I was in the sword-fighting arena with Jason teaching, as usual on Friday mornings. Then, as I showed a young daughter of Hecate how to disarm somebody with a sword, Piper came running in the arena, eyes wide. She ran over to Jason and whispered something in his ear, and Jason's eyes widened even larger than Piper's. Their eyes were like the size of watermelons. "Excuse me," I told the little girl and I walked over to Jason and Piper who seemed to be freaking out, but more in excitement rather than fear. "What's up you guys?" I asked.
"The Argo ll(a/n I know, it's two l's and not Roman numerals, but I don't have those as a typing option, so deal, okay? Good) just landed," Jason said. Piper nodded in agreement.
"What?!" I exclaimed. The Argo ll had disappeared when Leo died, a year ago. I felt my stomach drop. That's impossible. It has to be a misunderstanding, or a hallucination.
"And there are passengers," Piper continued.
"Who?!" I exclaimed again, "Can you stop stalling for emphasis and just spit it out!"
"Leo and Calypso," she said, "They haven't gotten out yet, but we've seen them walking past windows. I think they're getting out soon."
"Well, let's go see Leo!" I exclaimed. "Class, I will be going, but continue practicing. Just don't kill each other," I yelled out to the class as I ran out of the arena with Jason and Piper. I stopped by the Athena cabin and knocked on the door. Annabeth opened it.
"What's up, seaweed brain," she asked.
"Leo's here," I smiled. She gaped and I grabbed her arm and pulled her along as we ran to the hill where the Argo ll was sitting. We stopped outside of it and saw that Jason, Piper, Chiron, Mr. D, Hazel, Frank, and Nico were already outside. Then I saw two figures walk out onto the deck. Leo and Calypso. I glanced at Calypso and a feeling of uneasiness pitted in my stomach. I was sure she wouldn't be happy to see me, but I would have to deal with it. I have Annabeth now and she has Leo. It's all fine. Leo and Calypso jumped off of the deck and Piper burst into tears and hugged Leo. Even Jason seemed to be teary eyed. I mean, I was excited to see him, but those two were going a little out of control. I wondered why.
"It's good to see you too, beauty queen," Leo laughed as he patted Piper on the back. Piper pulled off from the hug and looked Leo straight in the eye.
"I swear, Leo Valdez, if you ever pretend to be dead ever again, I'll make sure you aren't pretending anymore," Piper muttered.
"Woah, feisty," he smiled. He glanced at Calypso and held her hand. "Well, mcshizzle is back!" He exclaimed.
"Where were you?" I asked, giving him a bro hug.
"Well, a year ago, after the whole, fake death thing you know, I found Ogygia and saved Calypso. Then we travelled the world and here we are now.
"Wait, you travelled the world before telling us you were alive?" Jason exclaimed.
"Yes," he said quietly.
"You are such a little-"
"Woah, calm down there, superman," Leo chuckled, "And how are you all?"
"Good," Frank said.
"Good, I assume all the ships are still together," Leo continued on.
"The what?" Annabeth asked.
"The relationships," Leo explained.
"Yes," we all replied in unison, except for Chiron and Mr. D, of course. And Nico.
"Well, Leo, I'm glad you're back," Chiron said with a smile.
"Yeah," Nico added.
"Anyway, anything fun happen while I was gone?" Leo asked.
"Nope," I said.
"Is Bunker 9 still there?" He asked.
"Yep," Piper replied.
"Good, well, I'm going there, ta ta, my friends," he smiled. He looped arms with Calypso and they ran down to camp and off to Bunker 9. I turned to Chiron.
"Can we all take the day off, Chiron?" I asked.
"Sure," he replied.
I glanced at Annabeth and smiled. I grabbed her hand and we ran down to my cabin. "Are you happy that Leo's back?" She asked me.
"Of course," I replied, kissing her on the forehead.
"And slightly nervous about awkwardness between you and Calypso?" She asked again.
"You know me too well," I smiled down at her.
"Don't be nervous," she said, "You have me." She looked up at me and I kissed her.
"You're right," I smiled, "I have my gorgeous, smart, amazing, fantastic, wise girl." I kissed her once more and smiled.
"Let's go hang out with Leo," I said.
"Agreed," she replied, "We haven't seen him in a year."
"Let's go," I smiled. I grabbed her hand and we ran over to Bunker 9.
