Prologue.
With the thunder and lightning breaking in every night Taehyung is woken, but not by the rain. The dream. His fear. That same dream where he sees himsel jumping out that window of their old home.
It's been 7 years but still that dream haunts him.
He sighs rubbing his face. He was better then that, better then suicide, better then to ever let her down. So because he knew he couldn't let her down, he tried to live his best life without her.
He struggled.
Couldn't find the reason and passion to carry on, couldn't find the happiness or spark of life but he just couldn't give up.
He tried to start again, living like he did before but it was impossible. Everything he did, everything he touched reminded him of her.
There was nothing left but to end the dull pain. He couldn't sleep without getting nightmares of her. It was a bad ending, a terrible goodbye and an awful heartbreak.
He lost himself, mask after mask of different personas, the strongest mask being anger and silence. He never spoke much, but let his hands write and face express as he turned to acting.
In acting he found himself again. In writing dramas or directing he found the strength to let her go.
It's clear to him now then ever that Andrea is dead and never coming back to life.

This is a carry on..or a sequel to book 3 of the Hostage Series. It introduces Taehyung, but most of the focus will be on Jungkook and his family. Thank you for sticking this long with the Hostage Series, it means so much to me.
Thanks
Admirable.
