'Nooo! Stay away from me!'

'You're mine.'

'Don't you dare to touch me.'

"Bryannn!" I scream as I get up from the bed quickly.

"Hey, hey... what's wrong?
Are you okay baby?" Bryan asks as soon as he hears me screaming while he cups my face with both of his hands.

"I... I just saw one of the worst nightmares ever." I reply as I hug him tightly.

"It's okay baby. I'm here with you and I'd never allow something bad to happen to you. You know that don't you.
It was only a bad dream." Bryan says as he kisses my forehead.

"I know. It's just... it felt like it was real. Like it was a bad memory but despite everything, I know that it can't be true.
James wouldn't..." I begin to say then I immediately stop and Bryan's eyes widen but he doesn't say anything.

"Never mind. It was just a bad dream nothing more.
Let's go back to sleep." I say while I lay down again.

"You lay down, I'm just going to get a glass of water." He replies.

"Okay but don't be late." I say as he opens the bedroom door and walks out of it.

After a few minutes pass, I'm still laying in the bed waiting for Bryan to come but he doesn't.

"Duh... what is taking him so long?" I say while I get up from bed to go and look for him.

"No, you listen to me! It's not my fault that you lied to her and now she's starting to remember things little by little." I hear Bryan say to someone on the phone while I go down the stairs.

"I don't know how long will take her to remember everything but when she does, it's not going to end well for me.
So... you have to fix this starting tomorrow." He says.

"Fix what?" I ask him as soon as I enter the kitchen.

"Mia?" He says surprised as he turns his phone off.

"What... what are you doing here? I told you to go back to sleep."

"Yeah, but I wanted you to be with me when I closed my eyes so I waited for you then I decided to come here to check on you."

"Ohh... sorry babe. I was just talking on the phone with an old friend of mine." He explains.

"Right. Old friend. How is possible that I don't even know any of your friends or your family.
Except from Harper and Liam."

"Because... they're boring." He says as he leans over to kiss me while he rubs his nose over mine.

"Plus I don't want any of them to catch feelings for you. You're only mine."

"Yeah, yeah.
I'm not that special."

"How can you even say that?
You're... the one and only girl in the world that made me fall in love without her even trying."

"Now you're being dramatic." I reply rolling my eyes at him.

"I'm hurt..." He says as he fake wipes his tears.

"You're such a drama queen." I say then I start running through the stars to get away from him.

"Wait until I catch you then we'll see who's the drama queen." Bryan replies while he chases me to the bedroom.

"Gotcha!" He says while he takes me in his arms.

"Let go of me." I say giggling.

"And why would I do that?"

"Because... Liam is in his room downstairs sleeping and we're going to wake him up."

"Nahh... he wouldn't mind.
He knows how much I've missed you and I just love to see you happy and smiling." He replies.

"Really..?" I ask him in a low voice.

"Yeah..."

"Well to bad then because you have to do more than just talking to make me happy." I say as I get off of his arms.

"About that... I've already made some plans." He replies nervously as he runs his hand through his long hair.

"You do?" I ask him surprised.

"Yeah. I just didn't know how to tell you because you just got out of the hospital."

"Are you kidding me? Why would you be nervous Bryan? We've been through that first date thing?" I say.

"I know, it's just...
Aghh... forget about it.
Mia, would you go out on a date with me?"

"Is that even a question." I reply smiling.

"Is that a yes?" He asks in a low voice.

"Yes silly. I'd love to go on a date with you." I reply while I hug him.

"Okay then.
Wow... this was really intense." He says as he clears the lump that was created in his throat.

Yeah, now let's go back to sleep." I say smiling while we both lay down on each other's arms.

A few hours later...

"Oohh Miaa..." Bryan says in a low voice while kissing me on my shoulder.

"Huhhh..." I reply with a sleepy voice.

"Time to wake up princess."

"Nooo... it's still early."

"It's already 9 am baby." He replies smiling.

"I'm still tired. Please let me sleep a few minutes more."

"Come on baby. Did you forget that we're going on a date today?" Huh?"

"I didn't but please let me sleep a little bit then I promise I'll get up." I say in a begging voice.

"Fine then. If you don't get up now we'll have to cancel the date for today."

"Aggh... I hate you." I say while I begin to wake up.

"Love you too baby." He replies smiling.
"Now get up and get dressed. I'll meet you downstairs after a few minutes." He says as he climbs up from the bed and walks away.

After I spend almost an hour doing my hair and makeup for our date because today I want everything to be perfect I go to the wardrobe to take my bag and look for something to wear but I soon as I open the door I see a wrapped up box there.

"Aww... he has gotten me a present.
I wonder what's inside of it."

"Looks like you found my present." Bryan says from behind me as he walks inside and sits in the corner of the bed.

"Are you going to open it?" He asks and I start unwrapping the letter delicately.

"Bryan what is this!?" I ask him surprised as I take the red dress on my hands.

"Don't you like it?" He asks in a low voice.

"Are you kidding me? I love it.
I just didn't thought you were that type of guy who buys dresses for his girlfriend."

"Well, technically I'm not but if that girl is you, I'd do everything and since I didn't get you a present on our first date I thought you might like one now." He explains.

"Now you made me feel guilty because I also didn't get you a present."

"Don't worry about me. Your happiness and your presence in my life is everything for me. Consider that as your gift to me." He mumbles in a nervous tone while he tries to fix his messy, long hair and my eyes fill with tears.

"Hey... what's wrong? Did I say something that I shouldn't." Bryan asks as he takes my hands on his.

"No... I just don't know what have I done to deserve your love." I say in a sobbing voice.

"Come here." He says hugging me tightly as he kisses me on my forehead.
"I love you more than everything in this entire world you know that don't you?"

"I love you too Bryan and I always will, no matter what happens." I say.

"Promise?"

"I promise." l reply smiling.

"Okay then.
Now put your dress on and let's see how it fits you."

"I'll be back in a couple of seconds." I say as I start walking towards the bathroom.

"Where are you going?" Bryan says grabbing my arm.

"To the bathroom to get changed."

"Why go there when you can change here?
Probably the place is all wet because I forgot to clean it when I took a shower in the morning.
I don't mind if you change here in fact I can help you if you want." He says with a smirk playing on his lips.

"You're so lazy.
Now I have to clean it." I say.

"I'll clean it later just leave it like that.
Now tell me! Are you going to get changed here?"

"I appreciate your offer but no because if I accept we're going to get late for our date.
So, can you please give me some privacy?"

"Duhh... fine then, but seriously you can change here and I'll wait behind the door since you don't want me looking at you."

" All right." I reply as he walks outside closing the door behind him.

"If you need help just call me." He says.

"Okay." I say as I begin to take off my clothes so I can put on the reed dress.

"Bryan can you please come here and help me with the zipper." I say after a few minutes trying.

"Wow!
You... you look fantastic baby." Bryan says.

"Aww... really? Don't you think that it's a little bit short?"

"It is but luckily for us the place where we're going it's not that crowded."

"Oh..."

"By the way you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my entire life baby.
You look like a goddess."

"Now you're making me blush." I say giggling.

"I love that giggling of yours.
It's like seeing a rainbow after a bad rainy day." He says.

"And I love you for making me always feel like I'm the luckiest girl in the universe." I say and he gives me a small kiss on my forehead.

"All right then. Are you ready to go now?" He asks.

"Yes. I'm ready."

"Okay then. Let's go." He says as he holds my hand and kisses it.

"Hey... Bryan before we go, there's something I'd like to ask you if you don't mind because I've been thinking about it a lot since I woke up from the hospital."

"Yeah of course babe, what is it?"

"It's nothing important really." I say nervously.

"Okay then, tell me."

"I just wanted to know how did you feel when you thought that I had left you."

"Ermm... I honestly thought that I couldn't go on with my life without you. Everything just seemed so annoying and I was always pissed." He replies looking down.

"Pissed at who?"

"Pissed at everyone. I even was pissed at myself for not being there when you..." He begins to say.

"Never mind. Let's just forget about it."

"It's okay baby. I'm sorry for reminding you again.
Now let's go. I can't wait to see what have you planned for our date." I say smiling trying to cheer him up because I honestly didn't want to make him upset. I just didn't know what to say because I was feeling nervous.

"Okay then, let's go." He replies simply as we climb on the car.

As we're driving I'm so impatient to reach our destination that I can't stop myself from asking Bryan where are we going.
It takes him a while to respond me because he's busy avoiding the cars on the road.

"It's a surprise." He replies simply.

"Tell me." I insist.

"We're almost there baby." He says smiling.

After a few minutes driving on the highway we finally reach our destination.

Our first stop was at a place that looks like a park.
The place is all with trees and flowers and in the middle of them is a small tiled road.

We step out of the car and start walking through the park and it's cool breeze makes me smile.

He smiles back at me.

"I wanted to take you somewhere where you can feel the wind." He says.

"What? What do you mean the wind?" I ask him smiling as we walk through the park holding hands.

"Just give it a try and don't worry about the cold too because I brought you a coat if you will need it." He says.

I nod and he smiles.

"Welcome to one of my favorite places." He says after a couple of minutes when we arrive at a restaurant in the middle of the park that looks like those restaurants from fantasy movies.

The walls are all made of glass and some old trees covered by some golden small lights are planted in the middle of the restaurant and the floor is also made of wood.

"This place is amazing baby." I say and he just smiles.

"This is one of my favorite places since I was little.
My family and I used to come here and have lunch." He says as we sit on one of the tables inside the restaurant.

"I love it." I say smiling.

"I'm glad that you do baby and I really think that it's time for me to tell you more about myself, since last night you asked me about my family and friends and this place is a really good place for me to start since it holds so many good memories for me. "

"Baby you don't have to do this if you don't want to. It's fine." I say taking his hands on mine.

"Thanks baby but it's not fair for you because I know a lot about you and you don't know anything about me but first let's order.

"Okay then." I reply.

After the waitress setts everything on the table and leaves he begins.

"When I was a kid me and my family used to have lunch here every weekend until my parents begin to fight with each other and then they got divorced.
After a while my mom «Amber» took my little sister «Sia» and then left for Chicago leaving me and Denny to live with our father the greatest businessman in USA «John White»." He says rolling his eyes.

"After a few years my father sent Sia in London for her studies and my mom stayed in Chicago.
I was pissed why she didn't take us with her soo I started drinking as soon as I turned 16 and when my father found out he decided to not give me money so I run out of the house but after two days Denny convinced me to go back.

After Denny died, my mom and Sia came back and my dad convinced mom to stay. After that my dad tried to keep me from leaving saying that I had to take care about our family business but after he saw that I started drinking again and this time I even got involved in fights and I got arrested two times for breaking someone's nose he sent Sia again in London. As soon as I found out I went home to take my stuff and then I left."

"Since then, I haven't contacted with them." He explains.

"I... I don't know what to say Bryan." I say in a low voice.

"It's okay baby. I didn't tell you all these things to make you feel bad.
I just thought it would be better if you heard all these things about my past from me and not from somebody else."

"Now let's change the subject please and enjoy our lunch before the meals get colder.
We have a lot of time to talk about these things again." He says smiling a little.

"Yeah." I reply simply trying to hide my sadness because I never thought that he had gone through all these horrible things all by himself and he always kept smiling and with that beautiful smile of his, he hide himself from the judgmental mouths of people that also ruined my sisters life.

"So... are we going to take some desserts because here they make them are really delicious?" Bryan asks as soon as we finish eating.

"Yeah." I reply smiling and he weaves to the waitress.
After a few seconds she comes to our table with two plates of «chocolate peanut butter cake».

"Thank you very much." Bryan says smiling at her.

"Enjoy!" She replies.

"Stop flirting with the waitress while I'm watching this wonderful cake standing right in front of me." I say and he starts laughing and then we both start eating the delicious cake.

"I have another surprise for you." He says as soon as we finish eating the cake as he takes a small box out of his jacket.
He opens it slowly and takes two small rings from it.
One black and one white with a figure of pinky promise engraved on them.

"Happy your 20 birthday baby!" Bryan says kissing my hands.

"Omg... Bryan! I totally had forgot that it's 4 December today and that it's my birthday." I say surprised.
"I... I love them."

"Look inside of them." He says smiling as he gives me the rings.

As soon as I take them in my hands I see also some words engraved inside of them.
The white one has the words «Two hearts» and the black one has the words «One soul».

"I... I don't know what to say to you Bryan.
This... this is the best day of my life so far." I say with a sobbing voice.

"And we're going to experience a lot of them together." He says as he kisses my hands and then weeping off my tears.

"Let's put them on." I say smiling.

"Yeah." He replies.

"They look wonderful. Doesn't they?" I ask Bryan but before he replies my phone starts ringing.
