SNIPPIT #4: Team

"Okay Ladies, five minutes till show time!" Della shouted in the dressing room.

"What? You expect me to be able to get everyone ready in five minutes?" Biana explained, beauty elixars and makeup in hand as she tried to pin an elaborate barrette in Linh's hair. Biana pulled Linh's hair back in a intricate braid, and her silver tips was like currents of liquid mercury.

Linh was wearing a white laced bodice that faded into a stormy  blue. The back braided from white to blue, and it was light and airy like a current. It had elbow length sleeves and it was simple, but it had little flecks of shimmer in it that were hardly noticeable.

(Kind of like this but not....if that makes sense lol xD Closest to what I was picturing)

Biana was desperately trying to make Linh's face glow as she put on a little mascara, light pink lipstick, and made her drink six elixars.

"I think that's good? Sophie?" Biana asked, spinning Linh's chair so I could have a better look.

"Definitely!" I smiled, grabbing a mirror for Linh to look through. When she saw herself, she blushed.

"Biana, you've outdone--"

"No time to talk! Sophie's turn!" Biana shouted, running over to where I was sitting.

"Biana! You've got three minutes!" Della called, checking in on the girls. She immediately started straightening Linh's barrette, and making sure her dress laid just right.

Biana was busy making me drink stuff while messing with my hair and stabbing my eyes out.

"Sophie! Stop squirming!" Biana commanded with such ferocity it made Sophie more afraid than when she was actually battling the Neverseen!

I immediately stopped squirming, and sat there as Biana quickly went through everything. Then Della was fixing Biana up and I was looking in the mirror.

My hair was in a bun that Biana stylistically had pieces falling out of. In my hair were tiny little jewels woven in that looked like stars. My dress was a simple white flowey floor length dress. It had a small white lace flower and dotted top and a petal skirt. It was just the perfect amount of simplicity and glamour that I was going for. On top of it fitting perfectly, the fabric felt nice on my skin.

(Kind of like the one belowish)

"Thanks Bi!" I gushed, leaning down to give her a hug.

"Ladies! You have a minute, I'd suggest to save the hugging for later!" Della ordered, trying to fix up Biana.

Marella was wearing a sunset colored strapless dress, and Linh smiled, "Just wait till Tam sees you!"

Marella just shook her head with a laugh. Her hair was done in an intricate braided bun and I had to say, no offense to Biana, but Marella was the queen of braiding.

I couldn't even fathom how she got it twisted like that! Biana's hair was in soft waves and she had one barrette, made by Dex himself, pulling the sides of her hair from her face. It was a sparkling morning glory, and I couldn't help but gush over how adorable their relationship was.

Her dress was a light purple bodice that had layers of sheer light purple the curled all around her. Vines of shimmering elegant flowers crawled around the dress.

"Ladies! Move on out!" Della shouted with a small smile on her face.

The order would be Marella, Linh, Biana, and then me. We all grabbed our flowers and soon we were walking down an isle made of arches. Heart thumping out of my chest, I watched the boy's reactions.

Dex' ears turned pink, and I saw Biana wink at him. He laughed at that, rubbing the back of his neck. Fitz' eyes went wide, and I saw Linh mouth 'it was your sister'. Fitz mouthed thank-you to Biana, and Biana gave him a nod of approval.

Then Marella glared at Tam, and Tam raised an eyebrow. I may have broken one of the rules of Telepathy to realize she was saying to Tam, who was Shadowwhispering, if you ever make fun of me (Spoiler from Nightfall)

I will roast you alive in your sleep.

Spoiler over

Tam started laughing, and everyone looked at him like he was insane. The weddings' took place in the Forbidden Cities, and only our parents were there. We decided to keep it small, and get married all together because we spent most of our lives together. It only made sense.

I took a risky glance at Keefe, and he looked absolutely mischievous. This caused me to narrow my eyes, and I immediately messaged: Biana will actually murder you if you're doing what I think you're doing.

Which he then responded with: I'm just fulfilling a promise I made years ago, and that I made last week. Don't worry Foster, it'll be AWESOME! Like, even better than The Great Gulon Incident!

Keefe! If Biana murders you, it isn't my fault!

And I just couldn't help but shake my head at the guy I was about to marry. Of course he had to have something up his sleeve!

I just was worried I wouldn't even marry the guy before Biana showed him his dismal end. Keefe sent me a wink, and I felt something cold sliding down my back.

Turning around, I saw a Tennis Ball launcher, except inside were splotchers. Biana's face turned murderous as three smacked her dress.

"KEEFE!" She growled, sprinting towards him. How she could run fast in that dress, I have no idea.

"I warned you!" I shouted while laughing, as Keefe smirked at Biana.

"I like the homemade color affect going on," he mused, and Biana's eye twitched.

"I spent HOURS finding this dress! I spent DAYS planning all of this, and then YOU do THIS?" Her hands were clenched into fists, and her glare was menacing.

Dex got pelted with a green splotcher, because Keefe was using telekinesis to change the launcher's direction.

And then, metal spiders fell from the arches.

Before Biana could strangle Keefe, Dex grasped her shoulders.

"It's okay, I think you look absolutely perfect. And I'm digging the spoltched affect," he muttered, before giving her a kiss on the forehead.

"I'm still going to kill him," she promised.

"I know, and I'll help you hide the body. But for now, lets just splotch him," Dex smiled, glancing at Keefe.

He was already running over towards me, "Save me Foster!"

I raised an eyebrow, "You got yourself into this mess."

"But you agreed to marry me, so like, before I die, maybe you could like do something?" He asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Touche, but I'd suggest you run before you meet your dismal end. I told you Biana would murder you."

"I know, but I couldn't keep this a serious event. It's not my style," he smirked.

"At this point, I think the only people getting married are Fitz and Tam," I pointed out, directing to the alter where Bronte was looking bored.

"Okay, sign this paper," he muttered, voice monotone.

"Hey, I've got something to tell you," Keefe whispered.

"What?"

"It'll have to wait until after Biana is done trying to--"

Keefe was yanked back by an invisible force. Biana's body reappeared and she punched Keefe--hard--in the gut.

Keefe's groan was enough to please the girl, "Thanks Sophie for distracting him."

"Anytime Bi," I laughed at the look of shock on Keefe's face.

"Sophie! You--You conspired against ME? I'm wounded, hurt. I don't think I can do this. How can I marry someone who isn't part of Team Foster--Keefe for the win? Now it's just Bophie! And that just sounds so weird," he stood up, feigning despair.

"Shut up," I muttered, kissing him. "You know whose side I'll always be on, even when you're being a lunatic with a wish for death."

"Hey, at this point we're both tied for that death wish thing," he pointed out, a grin on his face.

I laughed, "Okay, but lets try to make it our goal to not have too many more of those."

"But then it wouldn't be us."

I just shook my head with a smile, "Lets go sign some papers."

Keefe took my hand in his and we took an oath and drank Youth Elixars and did some Elvish traditions.

"I can't believe you remembered the spider thing after so long," I whispered to him while we grabbed slices of mallowmelt cake.

"I never forget anything when it comes to you," he winked.

I shoved him playfully, "You're such a cheeseball."

"But I'm the cheesiest cheeseball, right?"

"The cheesiest," I confirmed, with a light chuckle.

"I love you Sophie," he whispered, smiling for real.

"I love you too," I smiled slightly, giving his hand a squeeze.

"Hey, guess what?"

"What?"

"I have an art gallery and you know what it's called?"

"What?" I narrowed my eyes skeptically.

"Foster&Keefe," he winked.

I gave him a look that said I didn't believe any of that.

"It is! I'm telling you, it's there in Mysterium!" He nodded his head excitedly.

"But why Foster&Keefe?" I asked, confused.

"Two reasons: 1. You're my other half. You're the moon to my stars, the sauce to my Lements, which I know you drown by the way. You thought you were sneaky! Anyway, and I'm taking your last name," he smiled.

I laughed, "You can't be serious."

"Yes, from now on I'm Keefe Foster. Look, I know how much you wanted to keep your last name, and I couldn't not call you Foster for the rest of our lives. So, I'm officially Keefe Foster," he smiled.

"How'd I get so lucky?" I whispered.

"You burnt Lady Galvin's cape, that's how," he smirked.

"Don't remind me of alchemy," I shivered.

"So how'd it go being a Keeper?" Keefe asked, worry laced in every muscle on his body.

I smiled, "It's amazing. Because what they don't know, is I have the power to let the secrets that need to be known, known. And, we're evoking change, you and I. The matchmakers are starting to loose business, you want to know why?"

"Why?" He whispered, looking at me curiously.

"Because of you and I, Brant and Jolie, Juliene and Kesler, and all of the other people ruled as bad matches. Some people are starting to realize that there's no such thing as a bad match. After all those times we practically saved the world, no one really hates me or you. And even if they did, it wouldn't matter. The next class, hardly anyone signed up," I smiled.

"Point one for the Unstoppable Team Foster-Keefe," he smirked fistbumping me.

"Yep! And just you wait, there's still more to come," I winked.
