There's going to be a sea of spectators. TOMAN vs Valhalla, whoever wins the conflict will be one step closer to ruling Tokyo. The fight has caught the attention of all influential delinquents in Tokyo.

'All influential delinquents' seems like a joke ain't it? Suzume has no interest to witness the fight. But she was curious as well. She'd visited her boyfriend earlier in the morning, to wake him up from his deep slumber as Draken had complained over the phone 'it's like waking up a dead body'. How can someone even sleep that peacefully when a fight is about to happen? Manjiro Sano is built different.

When Draken was helping Mikey with the Sarashi, Suzume left. Even though Mikey had requested her to stay so that they could all go together but she didn't want to enter last minute with the gang, she wanted to go ahead of time and wait for them like the other spectators. Sarashi is a kind of white cloth, this cloth absorbs some of the impacts or blows delivered by their opponents.

She entered the junkyard which was an abandoned car lot with Yamagashi, the old cars were pushed aside to make space for the battleground. The place was filled with all kinds of people. "Looks like nothing but bad dudes over here." She commented adjusting her kawaii bucket hat.

"Like those two over there." She heard Chifuyu from behind, "the Haitani brothers. They can summon a hundred men with just one shout."

"Those brothers are like celebrities in Roppongi." Yamagashi added.

As soon as she heard, the Haitani brothers were there, her vision started to blur.

***Flashback***

It was Yamagishi's birthday so Akkun and Suzume decided to throw their friend a surprise birthday party at the boy's favourite Karoke restaurant. Room no 25 was the most exclusive booth, that seats upto thirty people easily. They'd decorated the room with balloons and banners and invited all of their friends from Mizo Mid.

Yamagishi was thrilled and everything was going smoothly until Suzume and Hinata went to use the restroom, when they returned—they saw their friends standing outside the room.

"Why's everyone outside?" Suzume asked confused.

Akkun said. "Uhh...the Haitani brothers are here."

"What?"

"The Haitani brothers, the most_" before Yamagishi could even complete his sentence, Suzume had twisted the door knob and stepped into the dimly lit room. The boys has dimmed the lights. She could smell cigarette smoke in the air.

A song began to play, at that time the girl didn't know that it was; Lost in the fire by the weeknd & Gesaffelstein playing through the speakers. She just knew it wasn't Yamagishi's playlist at all. The boy doesn't listen to that genre of music.

The two brothers sat lazily on the long blue sofa, one of them was smoking a cigarette while the other was sipping a bottle of beer.

Suzume knew exactly who the Haitani brothers were. The boys gained popularity when the leader and vice leader Roppongi Kyougoku, the biggest group in Tokyo at the time had a one-on-one fight with the Haitani Brothers. The brothers easily defeated the leader and then the rest and finished off the vice leader. The vice leader was severely injured and died not long after.

After the incident, the Haitani Brothers took over the entire district of Roppongi without any team. They eventually got arrested and put in a juvenile detention center for their crimes.

"Ran you ordered a chick?" The younger brother Rindo who was smoking the cigarette asked.

The elder brother Ran Haitani clicked his tongue, taking a long slow sip of the beer. He have a small face with purple eyes, blond eyebrows, and a thin mouth. His shoulder-length hair is dyed in the colors of black and blond, with his roots and their end sections black and the midsection blond, tied in two neatly-woven pigtail braids.

Suzume moved towards them, "what are you boys doing here?"

"We could ask you the same."

"We're celebrating our friend's birthday, we've already booked this room."

Rindo Haitani killed his cigarette, the boy have light blue streaks in his short wavy blond hair. His circular glasses compliments his purple eyes and blond eyebrows. She'd heard about the matching tattoos the brothers shared but it was hidden beneath their clothings. "This is our room, we always stay here when we visit."

"Not today!"

"Ran," he chuckled, "she's a feisty little chick."

He agreed with a laugh, "indeed!"

Yamagishi walked in and said, "it's okay."

"No it isn't! I don't care if they're the Haitani brothers or the presidents of Tokyo. We've booked this place and we're not leaving."

The brothers looked at her amused.

Suzume took a seat, "we're going to continue with the celebration."

"Wh-at?" Yamagishi mouth's agape, he was looking quite ridiculous with his multicoloured birthday hat and glow in the dark sash.

"Ha!" Rindo laughed delightfully, "where have you been all my life?"

Suzume glared at the boy, "not in prison of course."

Ran barked out a laugh. "Woah! I like her."

Yamagishi wiped a sweat off his brow, "Suzume-chan, can we please leave?"

Rindo looked at the birthday boy. "No one's leaving, we'll all celebrate your birthday together. You got a problem with that?"

Yamagishi gulped, "no."

And just like that, they were all back inside room 25 celebrating Yamagishi's birthday with the Haitani brothers. Because Suzume was too stubborn to leave the room and the services they'd payed for. At the start everyone was on edge but they wanted to please the brothers so they got the party going.

But then the brothers started ordering all kinds of liquor's. Suzume had only tried wine and flavoured soju before and as a teenager she wasn't a drinker nor is she allowed to drink. Her mother would kill her, if she finds out her underage daughter even tasted alcohol. But as the drinks were displayed before her, out of curiosity she'd sipped the beer which Akkun was having but that was really bitter. How do people even enjoy beer?

So the girl decided to stick to the flavoured sojus instead. All of her friends were drunk by the hour expect for the brothers, who by the looks were regular drinkers.

Someone had suggested they play a game of truth or dare, whoever fails to answer truthfully or doesn't complete the dare will have to strip. The girl had chosen truth the first time so she had to choose dare the second. Rindo had dared her to kiss him, even though she was light headed—she had her senses and she was literally on fire when she heard that. What's worse stripping or kissing Rindo? Of course it was stripping.

She'd chugged down her drink just to kiss the boy, this was so wrong. She's in a relationship, even though it was just a game, it still feels like cheating. One quick peck and it'll be over, she said to herself but she'd been so damn wrong—Rindo had kissed her so roughly and passionately, shoving his tongue down her throat that she nearly choked. She'd to literally push him off her, to stop him.

The others weren't paying much attention to them as they were drunk, the girl thanked all the liquor her friends had consumed. But Ran was staring at them a smug smirk plastered across his face, by the look on the boy's face Suzume could tell—that was one hell of a kiss.

It was a one time thing, the girl had told herself—it'll never happen again but Rindo had found a way to contact her and when she'd ghosted him; the Haitani brothers showed up at her school—but she escaped. Thankfully, no one knew the real reason why the brothers visited Mizo Mid. As it was common for delinquents to show up at schools randomly.

One Saturday, when she woke up from her nap. She nearly had an heart attack as she saw Rindo seated on the chair, watching her intensely. How long have the boy been watching her? How the hell did he even get inside? He's crazy!

"What are you doing here?" She asked as she pulled her blanket up to cover her chest, even though she was wearing a vest, she was still braless.

"You've been quite sneaky."

The girl huffed a breath of disbelief, "how did you even get in?"

"Do you even want to know?"

"What do you want?"

"Do you really want to know the answer to that?" A sly grin passed his striking face, it should be a crime to be as crazy and attractive as Rindo Haitani.

"I don't know what you're thinking but I've told you over a dozen times, I've a boyfriend!"

"That doesn't matter." Of course, it doesn't matter to Rindo—nothing really matters to the Haitani brothers after all.

"Ugh!" She gripped the blanket tightly, "I shouldn't have participated in the game...it was stupid of me, I'm sorry if I've lead you_"

"You haven't done anything wrong love." He rose up, "no one has ever stood up or denied the Haitani brothers until you."

Suzume cursed her smart mouth and her attitude for always getting herself in this type of situations. But if she isn't the way she is, she wouldn't meet Mikey at the first place but because of the way she is now she'd attached herself to people who doesn't understand boundaries.

He moved towards the bed, the girl steeled herself. If he tries to do anything funny, she'd hit him. At least, she knows how to defend herself but he's a Haitani, a skilled fighter—she'll never be able to overpower him. The boy pulled out a good luck charm and placed it on her bed.

"I'm not a religious person, never had been but I visited the shrine yesterday maybe to wish for something that doesn't exist but...one can hope."

Suzume couldn't understand Rindo's riddle but she was glad that he was at the shrine.

"I'll be seeing you again love." The boy winked as he walked out of her bedroom door, down the stairs and then out of the main door.

***Flashback ends***

She'd not heard or seen Rindo Haitani ever since and she had totally forgotten about the grim incident but now seeing the Haitani brothers again, everything was coming back to her in waves.

"You okay, Hime?" Chifuyu asked brows raised.

"Chifuyu! Chifuyu!" Takemichi was waving at the boy from a distant.

"Uh! I gotta go."

"All the best." She wished him as he smiled and jogged towards Takemichi.

Suzume told Yamagishi, "let's sit somewhere else."

Before she could even take two steps forward a hand grabbed her shoulder, she didn't need to turn around to know who it was. "Leaving so soon?"

She looked over her shoulder, "mhm."

His other hand grabbed her forearm, "join us." The girl shook her head as a no but her feet followed the boy, she didn't want to make a scene out there.

"Hey lovey," Ran smirked at her.

"Don't call her that," Rindo snapped at his brother.

"When did you mind sharing anyway?"

Suzume huffed a breath of disbelief, what has she gotten herself into? Why was she even in their mouths? What the hell was happening? Everything was beyond her understanding.

She obediently sat besides Ran as Rindo sat on her right, she was literally sandwiched between the two brothers. They were seated on the hood of a car, so there wasn't much space to move either. If she sit on the sides, she might slip so the brothers have seated her in the middle for her own safety but she was feeling the most unsafe.

There was a sea of people to even notice them but the Haitaini brothers do stand out and if they see a girl sandwiched between them, what'll they say? And she's none other than Manjiro Sano's girlfriend—the boy who's leading TOMAN today.

Mikey wouldn't even notice her because he'd be busy with the fight but even if he did—he wouldn't mind, he's not the type of boyfriend who restricts his girlfriend to have guy friends because even the boy knows Suzume have more guy friends than girls. But that didn't ease her heart because of what happened between her and Rindo and even though nothing is happening right now, being that close with Rindo didn't feel right. Who knows what might happen again? God forbids! Anything ever happen again.

In the drama she'd totally forgotten about Yamagishi, then she saw him seated below them with a group of strangers. The boy looked up at her and gave her a thumbs up, "I'm good here." He mouthed.

It's better that the boy was seated away from them, the Haitani brothers were bad news anyway.

Ran pulled out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket and offered. She'd never smoked in her life before and like she'd be trying it now.

"I don't think we should be smoking, she's kinda light headed." Rindo informed his brother.

The elder Haitani grinned, "didn't know little brother had a heart."

Rindo glared at him, "shut up dick head!"

Ran's laugh was humourless.

She blew a large bubble with her purple chewing gum. Her phone pinged, she looked at the screen. "Yours?" Ran asked nodding at the Lock Screen, which was a picture of Taro.

She replied, "he's Taro."

He faced her and this was the first time they were face to face and that close, she could smell him; he smells like apples, lavender and tonka beans. Unlike his younger brother who smells like; cardamom, lavender and woodsy. They don't use the same perfume. And why the hell is she even paying attention to their scents?

"I've two of them Yami and Kazan." Yami stands for dark and Kazan stands for Volcano. He pulled out his phone and showed her his Lock Screen—a picture of his cats. "Found them in the gutters!"

Wait a second! Is Ran Haitaini actually an animal person? His cats were adorable.

"The boys found Taro in the trash too, I adopted him."

His face lightened up, "we're meant to be."

"As animal rescuers?" Rindo's humourless tune snapped Suzume out of her almost trance like state.

A mischievous smile spread across Ran's stunning face. "You jealous? That we've something to bond over?" 

The younger brother scoffed, "like I care!" Turing away from them but Suzume saw his jaws tick. The Haitaini brothers were going to be the death of her.

A/N:

The Haitani brothers are my favourite brothers from Tokyo Revengers. I just love them, I can't even choose which brother I love more. And even if they aren't twins—they've a twin vibe.

When I first saw them in the series, I hoped to see more of them but sadly even in season 2 they were mia :( but am excited for them in season 3 ;)
