(Trevor's view)

It was nearly nighttime when I arrived home from work to find my sister sitting on her bed with her eyes fixed on the chess board that sat on her bedside table.

"Hey Pheebs." I greeted messing up her hair affectionately once I'd set my stuff down.

"Hey." she responded with a small smile as I looked at her with a grin.

"How was school?" I inquired to which she rolled her eyes before laughing.

"It was fine, but my one classmate is super nosy. can't take no for an answer." she said and a scowl made it's way onto my face.

"That sucks." I said before putting an arm around her shoulders.

"Hey, how about tomorrow after school you and I go do some more exploring?" I offered and she grinned.

"Sounds like a plan." She said and I chuckled before ruffling her hair.

"Night Pheebs." I said and she smiled back.

"Night Trevor." She said as she pulled her glasses off and was asleep the second I closed the door behind me.
