Days later

Again a storm is coming.
Sitting on a tree, I use Bella's ability and think. When I use her gift, I can hide my current thoughts from Aro.
Rena is already as tall as a five-year-old kid.
Knowing there's not much time left, I called our friends to come here.

When it comes to the fight, Jacob can't stay with Renesmee, because they will track him.
A vampire should be the best.
Since I can copy every single ability, I can probably protect them better.
But when I do it, I can't say when I see Grayson again.

But for Renesmee and the child I will do everything in my power.

Suddenly there is loud howling heard. The wolves are ready to fight.
That means that the Volturi will come too.
I jump down and run to the house.
"They're coming!", I shout and the others come out.
"Renesmee get your jacket", Edward says, whom I've let in my mind and protect with the shield, as well as the others.

We all get ready. I pick up Renesmee's bag, which Bella has already packed for an emergency.
"Grayson, whatever happens, I love you", I say and he hugs me.
"I love you too", he says softly and kisses me.
"You'll accompany her, right?", he asks, to which I nod.
"We'll meet again", I say, hugging him again.

Now we make our way to the clearing, where the first fight has already taken place.
Lightning flashes threateningly in the sky. This will hopefully drown the fight.
The howling can be heard again.
Jacob, Leah and Seth appear in their wolf form.
They will definitely be very useful for us.

The first vampires from Aros army appear in the dark.
"The Cullen's, now we'll meet again", says Aro, who's just stepping out of the crowd.
"Aro, let go of your mania", I say calmly.
"Foolish girl, the Volturi don't give second chances, you know that", Caius says.
"And you know you have no right to do that", I say.
"Don't be too sure.
We know that you have lied to us about your ability. I saw it in your friend's mind", Aro says.
Great!
"You can think about it again, with such a powerful ability, you would be in good hands with the guards", he says.
"I'd rather die than join you", I say.
"So be it", he says.
I look briefly to Renesmee and Rena. Then I give her a sign, so she climbs on Jacob's back again.

The first vampires come running towards us.
Now it starts.
Jacob disappears in the woods.
I jump into the air, land on an enemy and tear off his head, while I connect Bella and Carissa's gifts to protect the others. I was hoping it would work. Because of Siobhan it has worked that too.

Then I go to the next one. Aro is just standing around, like Caius and Marcus.

The others are busy fighting, too. Now I give Jane a kick, she flies back for several meters and lands on her brother.
Just as I turn around, I see a friend of Jasper's being ripped off.
He also saw it and tears those responsible vampires into pieces seconds later.

Now they should be where I saw them in my vision.
The chaos breaks out.
What now?
Suddenly it comes to my mind. I stamp on the ground in front of me and create a wave. I spread the shield over the field, only to our companions, who I've focused in my mind.
With a thunder-like sound it spreads across the field.

Then I run, to the forest.
Good luck.
That was addressed to Edward, because he knows about my plan.
I know they will make it.
I get faster and arrive at my car.
"Thank you Jacob and yes, I don't call you dog anymore", I say and help Renesmee to get off his back.
"Now go back to the others, we'll get in touch when it's over, I'll protect them with my life", sounds strange, but I really mean it.
He nods and starts running back.

I get in the car.
"Mommy, where are we going?", Rena asks, whereupon Renesmee looks at me questioningly.
"To someone where you'll be save", I say and drive off.
Seven years ago, he helped the Cullens.
Without him, it would certainly not have ended good.

Now on to Brazil.
Renesmee and Rena will be safe.
