Amber's Pov.

A few weeks have passed. Renesmee is now in the fourth month. At least that's what it looks like, but it's probably growing faster now.
She seems to be fine.

As I had hoped, it's good for her good to be away from harm. Yesterday she even smiled again.
We sat together and talked about funny things from our past. As expected, I had the most stories to tell. After I've finished, she started to laugh. That not only made me happy, but also everyone who was in the house. I've tried again and again to influence her feelings with Jasper's gift. Unfortunately without success.

Luckily, there were no other visions yet. Well, if Alice still had one, Edward didn't tell me. Maybe she can't tell either.

Bella promised Edward to return soon. I've told everyone we'll come back when the pack leaves. Carlisle reported that they moved into forest posts and are waiting for us to come back.
Leah is there too, but just to tell me what's going on.

When I asked her what was with Embry, she said he left. Although he didn't say anything about where and why he would go, we immediately knew he was leaving, because he didn't want to be involved in the whole thing.

Somehow that calmed me down. I was hoping that he isn't like the others of the pack.

Thinking about it, I start to smile again, which catches a few confused looks from the others, with whom I sit in the living room.

Carissa and Grayson are sitting in the dining room, talking. They're almost as they were when I met them.
When they still were human.
Still children.
But because of me they had to grow up to cope with immortality.
Thinking about it makes the smile on my face disappear again.

"Everything okay?", Renesmee asks me suddenly from the side.
"Everything okay, why?", I ask back.
"Because you look like you had a heart attack", she says, smiling.
"Just thought", I say smiling again.
Luckily she don't say anything and gets up as Bella called her for lunch.
Eleazar, Carmen and Serena are hunting. Now only Tanya, Kate and Garrett are here.

They talk, I sit down at the window and sink into my thoughts again as my gaze wanders over the mountains.
What are the others in Forks doing right now?

Edward is probably worried about Renesmee again.
Carlisle tries to appease the pack.
Alice tries on new clothes or goes shopping with Rosalie and Esme is probably just reading.
And Tom, he's bored, I think with a smile.

When I'm looking outside, I notice something. The things that snowflakes and vampires have in common.
They are cold and beautiful, none is like the other one, but still the same. Heat can destroy them. But we aren't as perishable as they are.

"Why are you staring at this area?", Carissa asks, suddenly standing behind me.
"I look at the snowflakes", I say, turning around to face her.
"Why?", she asks.
"Because there are many things in common between us and snowflakes", I say and realize that I'm acting strange for het.
"Okayyy", she says as her brother enters the room.

"If Carmen and Eleazar are back, we can go hunting", I say and go into my current room, which I share with Carissa. Then I lie down on the bed that I chose for myself and listen to music.
Crying in the Club by Camila Cabello. Because of Renesmee I learn many new songs to know. I hum along and look at the ceiling.
