Amber's Pov.

Days have passed again in which nothing happened. Everybody keeps wondering when the Volturi are coming.
Maybe they've decided differently. Alice once told me that the visions might change if the person changes the course.
Is that really true?
Who knows?

We can just wait. A few days ago, Grayson and Carissa went home again. I haven't seen them since then. I miss the two very much.

Unfortunately, the school starts again next week, that's why I'm worried even more.
What if the Volturi attack when we're all at school.
They would probably wipe out the whole city.

I hear footsteps, it's Kate. She enters the room.
"Hello", she says, smiling. I just nod in greeting.
"Not so happy today?", she asks.
"I'm just worried", I explain and look out the window.
"It's going to be okay, believe me", she says, and I just sigh.
"They should have been here for a long time", I say softly.
"Maybe they gave up", she says encouragingly.
"You know Aro, if he wants to have someone as a guard, he doesn't give up until he has that person", I just say and go down with her to the others.

The witnesses won't be able to wait for a long time. If we have bad luck, the Volturi will attack just when they're gone.

I try to calm down. But then I smell again this unbearable stench. The dog plays Play Station with Ren. Since the incident with Jane and Embry, he leaves me alone.

Embry's doing better now. Some of his bones were broken, but they are already healing.

I go to Alice and ask her if she had a vision again, but unfortunately she negates that.

I go to the front door and turn around again. Then I close it behind me and go to the car. I'm going to Port Angeles again to clear my mind. After spending a while there, I drive on.
I don't know where to go.
