Aro's Pov.

"It's time now, we've been waiting long enough", I say and sit down again. Jane and Alec leave the room. I look to Caius. He looks pleased. Markus only reads a book.

We will get her, no matter what!

Amber's Pov.

Carissa spends the day with us. This isn't the first time she's with us. Unfortunately, she also brings her brother to us.
Great.

I hear them from afar and wait until the bell rings. I go slowly to the door and open it. Carissa almost jumps on me and hugs me. I let them in. Grayson follows us slowly into the living room. We all sit down.

The others promised me not to be in the house all day today. They won't be back until tomorrow morning.

I sit on the couch while Carissa and Grayson play a video game on the new play station. They look so happy.

After Carissa performs a victory dance and laughs at her brother, we go to the forest. There is nothing to hear except a few deer that only I hear.

We stay in the forest for two hours, then we go back to the house. In the evening, Carissa asks if she and Grayson are allowed to stay here. We're both skeptical, but I nod. I give Carissa my room, Grayson takes the other guest room. I sit in the living room and look at the fire.
It blazes dangerously. I love it.

I hear footsteps, it's Grayson. He sits down on the couch. I just keep staring into the fire. A pesky silence grows which is broken by him after a while .
He asks me if I like the school and how the Cullens are.

I kind of like talking to him. It seems as if it's the same for him. He keeps smiling.

After an hour I hear his calm breathing, he has fallen asleep.
I look at him. He is cute when he sleeps.
I can't take my eyes off him.
What is wrong with me?
