He wants me, Calum thought to himself. He couldn't believe it at all. Once he got home, he decided to finish his homework off. Which was a first.

In the middle of doing his maths homework, Luke called.

    "Hey man," Calum greeted.

"Hey. Listen, Ashton and I were wondering if you wanted to join us for dinner tonight."

"Where at?" Calum furrowed his eyebrows, wondering why the two of them wanted to ruin their alone time by inviting him.

"My house," Luke replied. "We're getting Chinese."

Calum's eyes started to shine from the mention of his favourite food. "I'm in."

Once he finished getting ready, he stood in front of his mirror, slightly raking his fingers through his wet hair.

An uneasy feeling settled in his stomach as his thoughts wandered to Mr Clifford.

What he was planning was completely illegal and could end up with the older man in jail.

He inspected his facial features as he thought about the next step, which was quite a leap from the first step.

To be honest, he felt horrible for having this plan just to get good grades. But, he also had a certain lustful attraction to the older man.

He would've tried things with him anyway.

A big rule that Luke had set up for him, that he had to live by once this plan is done, is that developing feelings for Mr Clifford will be totally forbidden.

He had to completely rake away the previous feelings, only leaving behind the attraction.

There are things that Calum had never felt before that he felt around Mr Clifford for the first time.

He was completely and utterly attracted to the man.

"So," Ashton spoke with a mouthful as they sat on Luke's bed, Calum sitting across from the couple who sat against the headboard.

"You and Mr Clifford, ey?"

A small smile tugged onto Calum's lips because of Ashton's childish manner. "Yeah, Ashton."

Luke spoke up. "Just don't tell anyone, dude."

"I won't," Ashton and Calum replied in unison. They looked at each other before bursting out in laughter.

The blonde furrowed his eyebrows, not finding the situation amusing. His facial features softened once Ashton softly placed his hand on Luke's knee.

    He wanted that.

Unfortunately, the sun doesn't shine bright for everyone. In Luke's case, the sun is blinding him from the brightness.

"So, what's the next step?" Ashton enthusiastically asked. Calum giggled before explaining it
all.

"C-Calum, I have a meeting," Mr Clifford breathed out as the younger boy continued peppering kisses down his jaw. The younger boy only hummed against his milky white skin.

He pulled away, giving a small and warm smile that made the insides of Mr Clifford's gut twist and churn. The older man breathed heavily, and stood up from his chair.

He only patted Calum's shoulder, lingering his fingers on the fabric of his jersey before exiting the classroom. Calum sighed in content and made himself comfortable in Mr Clifford's chair.

It was after school and there was no students to be seen at the school anymore. So he just waited for Mr Clifford to finish with his meeting and then see how it goes from there.

Hard it was for him. To not get attached and to not get feelings. Mr Clifford is just that type of person who makes it hard not to love them.

It took about fifteen minutes for Mr Clifford to come strolling back into the classroom, seeming flabbergasted seeing Calum sit on his chair. Although he shouldn't be too surprised.

"Hey," Calum greeted, getting up from the chair to let his teacher sit again. Mr Clifford nodded and sat down.

Just as Calum was about to prop himself right on Mr Clifford's lap, hands were placed on his waist, preventing him from doing so.

Calum, confused, turned his head to glance at his teacher. He was giving him a disapproving look. "I'm not in the mood," he said stiffly. The younger boy nodded, gulping harshly before backing away from Mr Clifford.

"Sorry."

"Don't be."

Question marks were flowing through Calum's mind. Why was he not in the mood? Was he just tired? Will he never be in the mood for Calum ever again?

As these questions ran through Calum's brain, he was quick to text Luke to come and pick him up. He wasn't too sure if he wanted to have Mr Clifford give him a ride home.

"I'm going home."

Mr Clifford looked up from his pile of work, smiled, and nodded. He was quick to look back down at his papers. Calum frowned, slowly turning on his heels and making his way to the door.

He glanced back one last time before exiting.

"So- how was it?" the blonde turned to his best friend as the car stood at a red light. Calum huffed, his arms crossed. "I don't wanna talk about it."

Luke nodded, smiling sympathetically. "Your wish is my command."

"I wish to have ice cream," Calum slightly chuckled, making Luke turn in a sharp U shape. "On it."

This is why Calum loved Luke so much, the blonde would do anything to keep him happy and most importantly, sane. The two boys sang along to some Good Charlotte before Luke bought Calum some chocolate ice cream.

"Thanks," the brunette smiled gratefully once they pulled up on his driveway. "Anytime, really. Would you like me to come in with you?"

Calum shook his head, "Nah, I think I need some time to think if that's okay with you. This Mr Clifford stuff is really confusing me and stressing me out."

"Of course," Luke agreed. The two said their goodbye's and Calum made his way into his house and into his messy room. He groaned, hating the disorientation of everytthing.

He plopped himself up onto his bed, opening his laptop.

He had yet another English assignment. Mr Clifford had no chill. He titled his project and began typing away. He was not going to forget about it this time.

+

Calum hadn't stopped typing. Crickets were chirping outside and the only light was from the moonlight and his laptop screen, which was burning his eyes at this point.

He sighed once he finished, fingers aching and back hurting. He arched himself, allowing his spine to let out a few loud cracks. Turning on his lamp, he was able to see his mess of a room again.

With his sore back, he waddled over to the bathroom where he took a scorching hot shower because it was becoming winter and he was freezing.

Wearing fluffy pajamas and fuzzy socks, he was finally warm enough to function normally and go to the kitchen to make himself some tea.

His sister was sitting at the kitchen counter with a coffee cup at hand, her eyes burning into a paper that was placed in front of her.

Calum didn't take much notice as he turned the kettle on. He started whistling a tune as he put two spoons of sugar into his mug. Smiling, as he bobbed his head to the tune he was whistling, he was suddenly interrupted.

"Calum."

The younger boy turned to face his sister, seeing the shocked expression her usual gentle face held.

"What?"

"How could you? What on earth is this?" she suddenly held up the paper she was reading from earlier.

Calum felt himself crumbled into a million pieces and he just wanted to melt into the ground like an ice cream cone.

Seemed like under his pillow was not a good enough hiding spot.
