"I told you, it will work. He'll literally do anything to get his brother to trust him again."

"Okay, but how are you gonna get me out? I wanna go playyy!"

"Don't you worry. I'll guide him and help him put together that broken key, then you'll get him to free me."

"Weeheehee, this is gonna be so fun!"

Luigi woke up. Dimentio's voice chimed, "Good morning!"  "Aaaah!" "Relax, relax. I told you I would guide you." Luigi thought to himself. "So, what will even happen to you once you're out of my head?" Dimentio quickly responded. "Don't you worry. I'll just disappear. You won't have to worry anymore." "Oh." Luigi really didn't see a bad side to this. He just wanted to be trusted by his brother again. That's all he wanted. "So, how do I get to you...friend." Dimentio's voice echoed, "this is going to get a little weird, so listen carefully, you're going to have to get out of the game and into the files." Luigi was completely lost. "Uhhh, what?" Dimentio giggled. "How do I explain this....well. I have found a small glitch in your world, like a little portal which will take you to all the different game's files." Luigi replied. "Still lost." Dimentio replied. "Just go behind Peach's castle. There is going to be what looks like a small, weird hole. That's how I get from world to world. I'm going to need you to go into it in order to get to my friend."

"A-are you sure this is safe?" Dimentio laughed, "I've been through this a million times! I'm surprised no one knows about it, it's perfectly safe. Nothing bad could happen." Luigi closed his eyes and stepped forward. "For Mario." He stepped into the portal.

"W-what is this place?" Luigi was floating in what seemed like a strange void, surrounded by weird floating files. Dimentio responded, "You know, I never really thought of a name for it, but this is the place between worlds. Now I am going to need you to go into that section way over there." Luigi moved over towards where Dimentio pointed. "Now, I need you to go into this file, but I need to make sure we go straight into a specific place, I don't want you to have to travel all the way through that world." Luigi started shaking. "I'm not sure about this... this doesn't seem normal." Dimentio replied, "Don't worry, remember. This is for Mario. You want him to trust you again, right?" Luigi nodded. Dimentio continued. "Good, good. Now, I have a way to get near my friend, you'll have to go into this file, but instead of walking straight into it, I need you to go downward to the small portal like the one you saw behind Peach's castle."

Luigi did exactly as Dimentio told him, he went down towards that weird small portal. When he got out, it was really dark. It was kinda scary. "W-where are we Dimentio?" 

"This, my friend, is Deltarune."
