Dimentio could Barely handle Jevil, but he couldn't let himself lose. "Cut it OUT" he yelled while grabbing Jevil's devilsknife. Jevil just laughed and summoned another. Dimentio threw the weapon over at Luigi and Mr. L, who were easily able to dodge it. Dimentio turned to Jevil, who had been going crazy. "You're bound to get tired eventually." Dimentio chimed, as he continued to dodge Jevil's attacks. "What can we do?" Luigi asked Mr. L. Mr. L looked over at him, "If I had one of my machines here with me, this could be easy, but looks like we're going to have to beat him with just ourselves." 

"But I can't." Luigi pleaded, Mr. L looked at him. "You are just as powerful as me, you just gotta be brave enough to use it! Come on!" Luigi nodded, and charged forward, only to be knocked back by more of Dimentio's magic.

Jevil's attacks were weakening. He was growing tired. Dimentio grabbed another one of Jevil's devilsknives and was about to throw it at Luigi, but something told him that that wasn't the smartest course of action. He looked to Mario, who was just sitting at the edge of the room, and threw the weapon right for him. Mario tried to dodge, but was cut right on the side. Luigi looked over to his brother, then back at Mr. L.

Mr. L looked at Luigi. They were supposed to defeat Dimentio together, be the hero together, but Mr. L could see what Luigi wanted to do. "It's fine, go to him. I can handle this." He told Luigi. Luigi nodded and raced to his brother's side. "Mario? Mario?! Don't worry, it's going to be okay!" Mario let out a groan. Luigi tried covering the wound. "Don't worry, it's a bad cut, a really bad cut, but you're going to be fine." Mario looked up at him. Luigi felt so much at that moment. Fear, pain, anger. His eyes began to glow green

Dimentio could tell Jevil was slipping. This whole adventure had been super draining for Jevil. If he had all of his energy, Jevil would have been much more of a problem, but he didn't. Dimentio waited for Jevil to stumble, before hitting him and knocking him out. "Sorry it had to come to this, old friend." Dimentio sighed. "Hey!" Called Mr. L's voice. Dimentio turned around. Mr. L was surrounded by green electricity, green thunder. "You. Don't. Belong. Here." Dimentio laughed. "Neither do you, luv" Mr. L suddenly sent waves of green thunder at Dimentio. Green fire surrounded Mr. L. Dimentio had never seen him like this. "Why are you fighting me? We're partners! Your real enemy is over there!" Dimentio pointed towards Mario. Mr. L's face tightened. "I'm not doing this for me." Luigi took is eyes off of Mario and looked over to Mr. L. They made eye contact for a brief second, before Mr. L turned his head back over to Dimentio. "I'm doing this for him, for us. It's time we be the hero." 

Mr. L shot a concentrated beam of green thunder at Dimentio, who was using his chaos magic to oppose it. Suddenly, Mr. L was being overpowered. "I don't want to do this to you L, I really don't, but you leave me no choice....." "LUIGI, I KINDA NEED YOUR HELP NOW" Mr. L yelled. Luigi looked down at his injured brother. "Go." Mario whispered. "W-what?" Luigi asked. "Go be the hero." Mario responded. Luigi nodded, got up, and headed for Dimentio. 

"All right Luigi, you got this. You can do this" Luigi told himself as he headed towards Dimentio. Mr. L Yelled as he was being consumed by the magic, "LUIGI, IF YOU'RE GONNA DO SOMETHING, NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME." Luigi's eyes started glowing green, as he lifted himself into the air, surrounded by green fire and lightening, "Get out of my home, Dimentio!" Luigi shouted, sending lines of thunder and fire at Dimentio. This threw Dimentio off, giving Mr. L a chance to hit him with more thunder. Dimentio made one last smile, "Bold to assume that I won't have the last laugh!" Dimentio yelled, before dissappeaing, surrounded by all the green thunder and fire. Mr. L lowered his hands, "N-no....Dimentio?"

Luigi collapsed, drained from doing what he just did. Mr. L stopped thinking about how he had just destroyed Dimentio and ran over to him. "Luigi, Luigi? Are you good?" "Luigi lie there, and spoke without opening his eyes. "I....I didn't know we could do that." Mr. L laughed. "Yeah, well, you're more powerful than you think." Luigi opened his eyes. "We need to get Mario to the hospital." The two looked over at Mario, who was unconscious now. Mr. L rolled his eyes. "What's with you always being so concerned for him?" Luigi sat up and smiled. "He's my brother."
