Sans waited for Luigi to stop crying. Luigi then asked, "So where am I? I thought I was in Deltarune." Sans responded, "yep, you are in the right place." Luigi then asked, "Then why is it so bright?" Sans winked and replied, "i don't know what you mean." Luigi looked confused. Sans sighed, "listen bud, i'm glad you came here. it makes my bro happy to have a friend, but we both know you don't belong here." Luigi looked up at Sans, then back down. "Yeah, I know. But I can't go back. Here I can't mess things up for my brother." 

Sans smiled, "well, papyrus does enjoy your company, but come on pal, we both know you got things to do, throw me a bone." Luigi chuckled a little. Papyrus shouted from the other room, "SANS, ARE YOU BOTHERING MY FRIEND WITH PUNS?" Sans chuckled, "sorry bro, i just got a skele-ton of them!" "OH MY GOD!" Luigi smiled. He already loved these guys. "but anyway, if you want to stay, we'll gladly take you. papyrus really could use a friend. but you know you don't belong here." Luigi sighed. "yeah, I know, I just don't think I could go back."

Luigi stayed with the brothers for about a day. Sans suggested he stay indoors so other monsters wouldn't see him and think something was up. "are you really not going to go back?" Luigi shrugged. "I don't know. I think Mario will be better off with me here." Sans sighed. "you know, i've thought that my brother would be better off without me dragging him down a few times, but we're stronger together. believe me, i bet your brother misses you dearly. you can't just hide here forever." Luigi looked up. "I don't even really know how to go back." Sans smiled. "I do."

Luigi turned to him. "You know how I could get back." Sans smiled and shrugged. "ehh, yeah." Luigi then turned around. "It doesn't matter, I can't go back. I'll just make things even worse." Sans grabbed his shoulder. "listen, i'm good at judging people, and i can see that you are a good person. your soul glows green with kindness, you don't make things worse. you're just too kind to see the bad in others oftentimes, just like my brother." Luigi smiled, but then frowned. "What about Papyrus. He seems so lonely, I can't leave him." Sans shrugged, "yeah, he'll miss you, but i'm always here for him." Luigi looked down, then back at Sans. "Alright, I want to go back. I need to see my brother again!"

Sans took Luigi to this weird spot all the way out in the forest. There was a weird looking room thing there. "alright pal, out here there is a weird glitch in the game. inside that room there is a direct access to the game files, and lucky for you, i got the key!" Luigi was surprised with how much this guy knew. "How do you know all this?" Luigi asked. Sans just shrugged and winked. "how else could i prank my brother across time and space." Luigi smiled. "You know, I'm really going to miss you two. Even though it's only really been a day, I enjoyed hanging out with you guys. Tell Papyrus that I'll miss him!" Luigi waved goodbye and walked into the room. Sans shut the door, locked it, and went home. "good for that guy, going back. sigh, what and i gonna tell paps?" 

When Sans got home Papyrus asked, "BROTHER, WHERE IS THE HUMAN? I MADE THESE FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS FOR US." Sans scratched the back of his head. "ahh, so sorry bro. i am the worst, it seems like i scared him off with my puns." Papyrus's smile faded. "OH...WELL DO NOT WORRY BROTHER. I'LL JUST GIVE THIS BRACELET TO YOU INSTEAD! NYEH HEH HEH HEH!" Sans smiled. "thanks bro. you're the coolest."
