Cold air tingling on your bare arms made you shiver. You looked up and saw the snow falling down the ground.

"(Y/n), hurry!" It was the ever jolly kid Shalnark calling you as you fall behind a few steps from the rest.

You smiled at him and continued to walk. You glanced at your friends' backs as they walk while giggling with each other while Chrollo is remaining composed.

He stopped walking and let the others go first. He waited for you to reach him.

You went beside him and stopped walking.

"The world really is a scary place." You suddenly said. You glanced at him who was looking above.

"It is not the world that is dangerous. It is us, humans." Chrollo uttered. He looked at you and smiled.

"If we are not in this state of living, if we have a real family, if we're living in the city, do you think we will still ended up being thieves?" You asked him who's smile didn't fade.

"How queer of you to talk about things such as that." He commented.

He paused and stole a glance from you who wasn't affected by what he said.

"Well in my opinion, maybe we're being a nice citizen if it wasn't for this. But don't you think it is harsh to say such things?" Chrollo asked.

You gave off a smile, thinking he didn't get what you are trying to interpret.

"I can't argue with you if that's how you think of what i've said." You paused. "But you're lying if you say things such as that didn't ever cross your mind."

"I always think of it. That I ended up doing things like this."

He giggled sorrowly.

"We're pathetic aren't we? We tried our best to retrieve the lives we we're dreaming of yet all we do is destruction."

You flinched from what he said. You couldn't believe that the one who founded the troupe himself finds it awful that he does horrible things.

"Split personality much?" You blurted out. Chrollo bursts in laughter.

"You can say that again." He wiped the tear that escaped from his eye because of his laughs.

"I can say such things but I regret nothing. I never regretted that I killed tons of people. I never regretted since the day I started the troupe." He added.

"Then, how about you? It seems to me that you're regretting on joining the troupe." Pakunoda said, appearing out of nowhere.

"How rude." You smiled and looked at the sky. "I do have realizations, yes. But regrets? I have none. For that's how I met all of you."

The other troupe members appeared.

"You sneaky." You said to Chrollo. He gave off his usual smile.

"Now then, shall we go?" Franklin said.

You smiled at them.

"Sure."
