Chapter Four
Aella POV
Aidan led us to his house where Nashira/Ally would stay.
We twisted and turned onto different streets and eventually came to a blue and green house. It was a nice size. Not too big, not too small. The windows seemed like they were cleaned by a professional and the lawn was the normal pale green. That's how our grass is in the Aether. The walkway was made of chiseled Quartz that was the whitest I've ever seen in a village house. And to top it off, there was a nice little fountain with a cloud spewing out water from the top. Our symbol was a cloud anyway. I think that Nashira was really going to enjoy it here.
"Sorry about how clean this place is, my parents are quite rich and they like to show off most of the time." Explained Aidan.
"It's allright! I think Ally will enjoy it hear until she'll have to leave." I said trying to act polite.
Aidan nodded in response and led us into the house. The inside wasn't that differently made compared to the outside. It had the same theme as the front yard. Clean blue rug at the front entry, polished chandelier hanging right above us, and newly swept Quartz stairs.
Just to act polite, I removed my dirty boots and placed them on the shoe rack that was on my left. Nashira must've seen me do so because she took off her white boots too. But for some reason, Aidan just kicked his shoes off and left them where they were not caring at all. I guess he wasn't that beat and tidy as his parents.
Aidan led us upstairs, through the living room to a fairly long hallway with doors on the side and the occasional painting. I didn't bother looking at the paintings because that wasn't the thing I was interested in.
We went into one of the rooms in that hallway. It looked like a guest room because of the made bed with no rinkles in it.
"Will you be fine with staying in here for the night?" Aidan asked Nashira.
"Yeah I think I can manage." She answered. I didn't think that she'd ever slept in a room so neat before.
"Well then I'll let you get settled then." Aidan said. He left the room after that.
"So, how do you think you'll last in this place?" I asked jokingly.
Nashira chuckled. "With what? The new name, clean room, or both?"
"Well don't blame me! I think Ally kinda suits you."
"Yeah I guess you're right about that."
"How long do you think you'll stay here? I mean in this house?" I asked.
"Few nights maybe. Or about a week. I still gotta think about it." Answered Nashira.
Suddenly there was a call for down the hall.
"Aella, could you help me for a sec?" Aidan called.
"Sure!"
Time skip to night (Ally POV)
I closed the door to Aidan's house leaning up against the wall and sighing. Aella was just saying bye and see you in the morning.
I sighed and thought today had been pretty busy. Aella had been showing me around the Aether and having me meet new people. It was nice but I'd rather have had a calming day. But I still had a few more days until I either went back to the Nether, or went to another Aether village. But I still had to figure out a few more things about Aella's family, and all that type of stuff.
Aidan came walking down the hall and turned it face me.
"Do you need anything right now?" He asked.
I shook my head. "No, it's fine. I'm just gonna go to bed. I'm really tired." I answered. I yawned right after the sentence. My eyes just wanted to close right at that moment but I had to get to bed first.
"Yeah I think I will too. If you need anything, you know where to find me." He turned and walked down the long hallway.
I sighed and ascended up the staircase to my room. I hoped tomorrow Aella would introduce some of her siblings tomorrow. I wanted to get to know them before I left.
I turned around and closed the door to my room. Now I was finally alone and could sleep for a few hours without anyone disturbing me. I just wished it was like that in the Nether. My older brother would never leave me alone. He would normally wake me up by punching me in the stomach or slapping my face. He was just as abusive as my dad. The last thing he did before I left was take out his sword and make that huge gash in my arm. I was really happy when Aella had bandaged it up for me today. It's been feeling much better.
Without even bothering to take my vest off, I climbed into bed and as soon as hit the soft pillow, I was out like a light.
Unknown POV
I woke up in the middle of the night, grabbed my bag of supplies and jumped out my window. I ran to the house where Aella Skyewood was sleeping. She was the perfect victim to use for my mission.
When I got to her house I climbed up the wall right underneath her window. I was happy that the drain pipe was right beside her window so it could help me keep my balance.
Once I had made it to the window I was happy that it was unlocked so I could just open it and jump in.
Once I did, I slowly crept over to her bed where Aella was sleeping peacefully. Well she wouldn't be sleeping peacefully for long.
I reached inside my bag and took out my needle to get some of her blood. I took her arm out of her blanket so I could use the needle on that part of her body. I slowly injected it into her arm and let the entire vile fill up with her white Aether blood. It had little bits of sparkling blue dots in it to resemble her as part of the royal family.
I took the needle out of her arm and didn't bother bandaging it up. I didn't have any time for that. She groaned a bit in her sleep now that she had lost some of her blood. I had it done to me before and I was nauseous for a few hours.
Before Aella could wake up, I ran to the window and slid down the drain pipe. I hit the ground with a soft thud and ran back to go to sleep. The next night I would work on her blood sample.
Ally POV
The next morning I awoke to heat pouring down onto my face. I opened my eyes and saw that I had left the curtains open all night because I was too tired to close them. So the sun had found me and had decided to wake me up right now.
I yanked and stretched my arms. That sleep was the best I'd had in months.
I had trouble getting out of bed because my body was screaming at me saying, Stay back in bed! But I didn't have time to sleep the whole day.
I checked my clock. It said 9:00. I was gonna have to meet Aella in two hours.
When I saw that, I jumped out of bed, nearly stumbled into the door face first, and opened the door so I wouldn't fall into it.
As soon as I opened the door the sweet aroma of pancakes filled the hallway. My nose followed the smell to the kitchen where Aidan was just flipping a pancake off the pan and onto a plate piled with about four more. He turned the element on the stove off (stoves aren't really in Minecraft but YOLO right?) and turned to face me.
"Morning Ally. Was the bed okay?" He asked.
"It was great! It's so comfortable. I never had a bed like that in the N-" I suddenly stopped myself before I said Nether.
"My village." I finished nervously. I didn't want anyone to know that I was from the Nether.
Aidan eyed me suspiciously for a few moments but then his expression softened.
"Come sit down. You can have some pancakes before Aella gets here." He said gesturing to a seat at the table.
I nodded and took my place. The chairs were made of really sturdy blue wood that's called skywood. The cushions on top of them where I sat were really comfortable. They weren't too hard and weren't too slippery.
Time Skip
I put the last piece of pancake into my mouth and chewed it slowly. I was really full from my breakfast but the pancakes were the best I've ever tasted. I had eaten about two and a half of them and I didn't think I would have anymore for quite a little while.
"You can just leave your dishes there. I'll clean up soon." Aidan said.
I stood up and stretched for the second time today. I was suddenly caught mid-stretch by a knock at the door.
Aidan stood up and went to answer it.
"Hi Aella. We just finished breakfast. I'll go get Ally." I heard him say.
He walked over to me and was just about to tell me Aella was here but I interrupted him.
"Okay see you later Aidan."
I ran passed him into the front entry, slipped my boots on, and went after Aella.
"How was your sleep?" She asked me.
I groaned. "How come everyone says that? First it was Aidan, then you." I said.
"Ally, that's not everyone. Come one I wanna introduce you to my cousin Shayla." She explained.
Aella unfolded her wings and took off. I followed right after her while letting the cool breeze go through my hair.
Hi guys! So I'm sorry for not updating this much. I've recently been on vacation and I can't update any of my books while I'm not online so when this is updated or while you're reading this, I'll be back from my vacation.
Yeah! You're probably wondering who that unknown person was. Well do you expect me to tell you? Of course you'll just have to wait and see who that person is.
Well anyways, see you later! And as always: Keep Calm and Read Books! :D (And Write Books lol)
