Pumasok ang mga air elementals, kasama si Avarice at Luel, sa isang village. Lahat ng mga gusali o bahay dito ay kulay brown. Napangunahan sila ni Elara Celeste Adler.

Elara is the head of the Air elementals. Junior palang siya ang Aerilon Academy, at isa rin sa pinakamalalakas. She has a lustrous black hair with gold streaks. Isa na rin siya sa kumakalaban sa ganda ni Arenspade Moonthrone. Her gray eyes sometimes reflected the atmosphere, whilst Arenspade's reflected the galaxy. Sa academy, silang dalawa ang hindi magkasundo. But in times of need, nagkakasundo naman.

"This is the park of Air Elementals. Dito rin ako magpapatawag ng meeting kung kinakailangan," wika ni Elara habang nakaturo sa malaking parke.

"This may also serve as your training ground."

Luel looked at the park as she noticed some Air elementals training there. They were wearing a silver version of the uniform.

Namangha siya sa mga sphinxs nila, at mas lalo naman siyang na-enganyo sa pagpapalabas ng sarili niyang sphinx.

"Each of you will share a cabin with someone higher than your level. As for me, I will share my cottage with you," napalingon naman si Luel, at tumango nang ituro siya ni Elara, "Lucianna Sariel Rofocale."

May iba namang nakasama si Avarice, at ang mga lalaki ay sa lalaki rin ipinares. That was the rule of Aerilon Academy. Of course, they had to uphold dignity and respect.
"Ang gagawin lang sa Cottage or log cabins ay matulog, the rest of your activities would need to be either in the park or the official training grounds, libraries, etc.," paliwanag ni Elara.

"Your senior or junior cabinmates will lead you to your own cabins. As for Lucianna, follow me," wika ni Elara at dinismiss na ang mga bagong air elementals.

Luel almost rolled her eyes as she was called Lucianna. Minsan ay naiinis talaga siya kay Sinclair kung bakit ba naman ang ganda-ganda ng pangalang 'Sinclair', samantala ang sa kaniya ay Lucianna?

Mabilis na sumunod si Luel kay Elara. Tinanong naman ni Elara si Luel, "Where are your personal things?" She noticed that Luel's things were nowhere to be found.

Tinaas naman ni Luel ang kaniyang spatial ring, at mabilis naman iyong na-gets ni Elara. Sana all, isip niya habang nakatingin sa spatial ring ni Luel. Luel's things were inside her spatial ring na kapares naman ng kay Zach. Palibhasa ay parehas bigay ni Sinclair.

Medyo madilim na kaya't naghahanda na ang iba para sa dinner. Para sa unang araw ng bagong school year, everyone is requested to have a dinner at the main dining area of Aerilon. It is located between clouds, and makakapasok lang d'on kapag may ganitong pagkakataon.

Elara smiled as they reached their cabin. Maliit lamang ito dahil ang purpose lang naman talaga ay tulugan at lagayan ng personal na gamit. Tamang- tama lamang para sa dalawang tao.

Luel looked at the cottage. It looked simple, and mukhang alagang-alaga ito ni Elara. Nang buksan naman ni Elara ang pinto ay napa-irit siya kung kaya't napataas ang kilay ni Luel, at sumilip sa loob.

Sumama naman ang tingin niya nang makita si Zacharias Sol Montero sa loob ng kanilang cottage. Ang pinapaniwaalan niyang boylet ng kaniyang ina ay narito. She looked at Elara, ngunit nagulat din siya nang makitang biglang tumawa si Elara.

Why the heck is she laughing? Isip ni Luel, at matimbang na tiningnan ang dalawa. As Zach met Luel's eyes, he looked surprised but then his gray eyes returned to Elara's.

"I'm here to get my weapons, Elara," sabi niya kaya't mas lalong sumama ang tingin ni Luel. First, he got a spatial ring from her mother, next, he gets weapons from the head of the Air elementals! Is he a bayaran or something? Isip ni Luel at mukhang kinabahan naman si Zach sa kaniya.

He gulped before going out from Elara's bed. Elara cleared her throat, "You're not allowed to go here without permission next time, Zach. I already have a cabin-mate."

There will be a next time?! Luel thought. Umirap siya, at nilagpasan na si Elara. She stabbed Zach with her eyes, at bahagya pa ngang nagpatay-buhay ang ilaw. Both Zach and Elara felt chills, at nagkatinginan silang dalawa. Zach widened his eyes at Elara, and Elara just shrugged.

Lumapit naman si Elara sa may kama niya at kinuha mula sa ilalim ang isang wooden box. Padabog namang umupo si Luel sa kama niya, at pinanood ang dalawa.

Normal lang ang kama ng dalawa. A queen-sized bed, with a small table beside it. Mayroon ding restroom, and isang long sofa ang buong cabin. There was no kitchen area because students were supposed to eat at the cafetrias or dining halls of the academy. That was also to prevent food poisoning between students.

"Nariyan na lahat ng pinabilin mo, Zach," sabi ni Elara at umupo sa kaniyang kama. Luel noticed that Zach's uniform was colored red. A fire elemental, she assumed.

She almost scoffed when Zach knelt and kept the box inside his spatial ring. Namangha naman si Elara, "woah! Kailan ka pa nagka-spatial ring?"

Zach smiled, and answered it while looking at Luel, "Birthday present sa'kin." Taas-noo naman niyang tiningnan si Zach. Hinahamon mo ba ako? Isip-isip niya.

"Sinong nagbigay?" usisa pa ni Elara. Her gray eyes shined dahil parehas na mayroong spatial ring ang cabin-mate niya, at ang ka-close niya.

Napatingin naman parehas si Elara at Zach nang si Luel ang sumagot, "my mother. Sinclair gave it to you, right?" Tinaasan ni Luel nang kilay si Zach.

Zach mentally chuckled. Finally, mukhang alam niya na kung bakit gan'on nalang makatingin sa kaniya si Luel. She must have mistaken her as her mother's lover.

Si Elara naman ay nagtaka kung bakit Sinclair lang ang tawag ni Luel sa kaniyang ina. Well, for Luel and Sinclair, it was kinda normal. Hindi naman siya nagtaka nang si Lady Sinclair ang nagbigay sa kaniya n'on. After all, it was as if Zach was also Lady Sinclair's child.

Tumayo na si Zach, at nagsimulang umalis sa kanilang cottage or cabin. Luel smirked and greeted him one last time, "Happy birthday, Zach."

Zach looked at the girl that he was supposed to protect. Una palang ay mukhang nahihirapan na siyang protektahan ito. Pakiramdam niya ay talo siya sa babaeng 'yon.

Ngumisi nalang din siya bago isara ang pinto ng cottage nila. Napa-iling siya at nakaramdam ng sakit sa scar niya sa likod. Alam niyang si Luel ang kadahilanan ng sakit na 'yon. She had a similar power with Sinclair, to emit physical pain to the enemy without touching them.

Hmm, that's your birthday gift huh? He thought as he dashed out from the Air Village, and return to his own.
