"Seriously?" Taehyung asked disgusted.

"What?" Yoongi responsed defensively.

"Why did you do that to him?"

"Are you his savior?"

"No. I just don't want you to pick on him. He's a nice guy."

"Fuck off." Yoongi shrugged walking away.

"Hey, hey, it's fine. Don't overdue yourself. By now, you should know that Yoongi won't stop until he's satisfied. Just let it be." Hoseok said.

"Let it be?" He repeated.

"Yeah." Jin responded throwing his cigarette on the ground. Taehyung rolled his eyes and walked away himself.

"I'll talk to him." Jungkook said following him.

"Where's Namjoon?"

"I don't know, he had to make up some test." Jin shrugged.

"Cool. Want to hang out?" Hoseok asked casually.

"Sure."

Meanwhile, Jimin was riding his bike down the road to his house. Since his father prohibited for him to take the short way, he had an extra fifteen minutes.

This week not being home had felt a little liberated. Jimin clearly wasn't making friends at school and he knew he would get picked on.

His fathers rules and emotional abuse made everything else tolerable. So, in fact he was dreading going back home.

He made sure he was wearing his glasses otherwise he would throw a fit. Jimin, didn't really even need them except for reading.

He never understood that. In reality, he never understood Jimin period. And at times Jimin felt like he wasn't wanted or loved.

Suddenly, he heard a car behind him and he turned around. He didn't have time to see who it was because he panicked since it was so close to him.

It caused him to lose his balance and he slipped on the ground. He winced at the bloody scrape on his knee.

The car went by splashing dirty mud water on him. He took a deep breath and wiped his face as best as he could and then looked at the black car.

He would keep it in mind for sure.

"Min Yoongi!"

Yoongi turned around and his friends snickered. "Your bestie." Jungkook teased.
"Why does he keep trying?" Namjoon asked astonished.

"He's motivated for sure." Hoseok replied.

Jimin approached the group of friends who walked away as soon as he was close to them. "Hi! And bye!" He waved enthusiastically at the three.

The only one that waved back was Namjoon. "What do you want?" Yoongi asked as he blew cigarette smoke on his face.

Jimin coughed feeling a little nauseous himself. He hated the smell of smoke and he tried to not make a face.

"I..wait, is this your car?" He asked looking at a black car he was leaning on. "Yeah." Yoongi replied with a satisfied smile.

"Oh! I think you accidentally splashed me with muddy water Friday on the way home! I'm not saying you mean to but—"

"I meant to splash you idiot."

"Oh, well, that's okay. You were probably in a hurry and I know I'm a slow bike driver and—"

Yoongi walked by pushing him with his shoulder. Jimin stumbled and quickly walked in front of him.

"Hi! It's me again! Listen, I don't want any problems. Please. I want us to get along. And if you don't want to be my friend that's okay too. I just...don't like the way you treat me sometimes." He whispered shyly.

Yoongi raised and eyebrow stepping closer to him. Jimin felt so small compared to him even though they were closely in height. It was simply the way Yoongi looked at him. Like he was unimportant and Jimin felt that.

"You don't like the way I treat you? What are you going to do about it?" He smirked.

Jimin remained quiet unable to answer. His knees were starting to feel weak and his heart was beating so loud against his chest he thought maybe even Yoongi could hear.

"That's what I thought. You won't do shit."

Before Yoongi could walk away again, Jimin shoved a zip lock bag to him. Yoongi looked at it and then at him.

"I made some food over the weekend. I'm not that good at cooking, but I wanted to bring you some."

"You brought me food?"

Jimin nodded timidly still holding the bag. "Are you trying to poison me?"

"No. Never. I actually like to cook some recipes. My mom taught me how to..."

Jimin's voice trailed off when Yoongi took the bag. He smiled sweetly waiting for him so say something.

Instead, Yoongi picked it up in the air staring at it disgusted. "I don't like dumplings." He stated dropping the bag on his feet. He walked away as Jimin looked down.

His heart broke a little he admitted. But, he was used to this after all.

"Jimin!"

Jimin turned around startled as a panting Taehyung approached him. He was wearing gym shorts and a tank top with a headband around his hair.

He bent over to rest his hands on his knees making his tank top drop and exposing his bare chest.

Jimin couldn't help to look. Taehyung was angelic. There were multiple words to describe him, angelic was his best description yet.

"Hi!" He grinned excitedly. He was currently sitting by himself on the very last bleacher. He had his camera around his neck and his messy book bag bedside him.

"What are you doing here by yourself?"

"I came to snap some pictures."

"Of the football field?" Taehyung laughed.

"Well, yes." He admitted embarrassed.

"I'm not trying to make fun of you. It's the simple fact that our football field looks like shit. Our bleachers are rusty and falling apart and our grass looks dead."

"I know. I tend to find beauty in everything."

Taehyung gave him a boxy smile melting Jimin to pieces. "I like your way of thinking. How long have you been here? It's getting dark."

"Umm..." Jimin looked at the sky. He was right, it was getting late. He would've been back in his dorm if it weren't for the fact that Yoongi kicked him out once again because he had a visit over.

"Not long. I'll be heading back soon."

"I need a break. I've ran around the school." He said taking a seat next to him. Jimin could smell the sweat from here and he was so very close to his tan skin he thought he could die.

"I can tell."

"Hey, whats that?" He asked reaching over to grab the zip lock back from his book bag.

"It's dumplings. I cooked them over the weekend."

"Nice. Can I have one?" He asked, but taking one out anyways.

"I wouldn't..." Jimin mumbled as Taehyung took a bite.

"What?"

"I dropped them on the ground. They were inside the bag of course! I've been carrying them around the whole day and I don't think they're good. It's only my second time making them and I am a pretty horribly cook—"

"They're great." He said with mouthful.

"Really?"

Taehyung nodded as he continued eating. "Thank you. I'm glad you like them." He smiled.

They remained silent while Taehyung kept eating. Jimin finally got the courage to ask him a question.

"Taehyung, since you're good friends with Yoongi can you tell me what he likes to eat?"

"Why?"

"I want to buy him something. Maybe then he will like me."

Taehyung stopped eating and looked in his direction. "He's been mean to you hasn't he?"

"No! No, he's been nice. I just want him to like me more than he does."

Taehyung knee this wasn't true. Especially after Yoongi bragged of what he did to him on the basketball court.

"What happened to your knee?" He asked looking at the scab from where he fell off the bike.

"Oh, I slipped by accident. I'm so clumsy."

"Did he do that to you?"

"No."

"Did anyone do that to you?"

"No." He shook his head.

"If Yoongi continues to pick on you punch him in the dick."

"I...I can't...I wouldn't..."

"Never mind, you're too nice for that. I will do it."

"Can you please tell me what he likes?"

Taehyung hummed, "He likes lamb skewers."

"Okay! Thank you!" Jimin said taking out a small notepad from his book bag and a wood pencil.

He wrote down on the piece of paper biting his tongue like he was concentrating so much. Taehyung smiled at the sight. How could anyone ever be mean to him?

"You still use wood pencils, huh?"

"Oh, yeah, I like the smell." He giggled.

"Yeah. The smell is nice. Well, I have to finish running. I'll see you around. Don't stay out too late! Remember they do routine check ups at 11 to make sure everyone is in their rooms. Thanks for the dumplings! Bye!"

"Bye! Thank you for reminding me! You're really nice! Thank you!" He waved as Taehyung started to jog.

"Also, if he keeps being mean to you tell me and I'll gladly punch his dick!"

Jimin caught himself laughing while covering his mouth. He kept giggling about it until Taehyung's figure disappeared in the distance.

He was all smiley and happy. He kept thinking about it waiting to tell someone about this. He envisioned himself calling or texting a friend and talking about boys and love and life.

His smile suddenly faded when he looked around and realized he had no one to do that with. The air suddenly felt too heavy for his chest as he watched the sun set in the horizon.

Loneliness was his best friend.
