"Come on!" my friend Mia yelled. We were at the ice rink and I was afraid to get on. That ice sure looked slippery. Even though I had a walker to help me on the ice, but still....

My friend Mia went without me so I followed her not wanting to be alone. "Wow this is actually pretty fun" I beamed with excitement.

"Try skating without the walker, Jay" Mia suggested. "Sure" I replied, feeling confident. I skated only falling a few times. Then I went faster. Then that's when I plummeted into the ice. Wrist first.

I heard a loud, terrible shriek. All of a sudden bam. My wrist hurt. Bad. Then I realized that I hurt my wrist.

Tears were streaming down my eyes as the pain got worse. Mia helped me and sat me on the bench. She called my parents while I was screaming. Luckily there was a doctor there. She said that it was most likely broken and to go to the ER.

Well this sucks.
