Third Person's POV

Dr. Robotnik floats above a house of sloths on his Egg-O-Matic hovercraft with two mini pods for Scratch and Grounder "Those slowpoke sloths are the perfect bait for my Sonic and Brody trap! Now jump down there and use my careful and scientific plan to dismantle, destruct, and destroy!" Robotnik said "Whoa-ho! You first, Grounder!" Scratch said "You're older! You go first!" Grounder said "How about if both you microchips for brains go at the same time?" Robotnik asks and throws Scratch and Grounder off the Egg-O-Matic.

The two land in the sloths house front yard having crash through the house "We trashed Sloths' manor your nastiness!" Scratch said "Yeah! Can we go home now?" Grounder asks "D'oh! This is embarrassing!" Robotnik said face palming "Mobius greatest genius, reduced to a junk collector!" Robotnik said lifting Scratch and Grounder with a magnet and heads back to his fortress.

One of the kids from the Sloth family named Rocket saw Robotnik leave and he got out and slides down a zipline and when he reaches the othet end he opens a door on a tree and pulls on a handle repeatedly "Save..... us.... Brody...... and.... Sonic!" Rocket said as the handle causes a hammer to hit a rope repeatedly and the waves travel across the telephone signals to Sonic and Brody.

Meanwhile at Robotnik Fortress "That was to get Brody and Sonic's attention! Now you two go back to Sloth city with my latest brilliant invention!" Robotnik explained showing a laser cannon "What is this?" Scratch asked "It's a subatomic slow-go beam weapon!" Robotnik said  "This is for Sonic and Brody! It's the ultimate weapon for catching those meddling, high-speed hedgehog and wolf!" He said pulling the laser off Scratch's head "Ow-how-how!" Scratch said "How does it work Dr. Robotnik?" Grounder asked "it shoots a slow-motion beam that'll slow them, to slow motion!" Robotnik said cakling "It's power by this Mobian Mega Crystal, that took me nine years to make!" He said "Now remember just shoot the slow motion beam at Sonic and Brody! It'll slow him down for exactly one hour, plenty of time for you to capture them!" Robotnik said "Then we squish them and squash them into tiny little Sinc and Brody lint balls?" Scratch asks "No! Then you call me to pick them up! Is that clear?" Robotnik asks as he tosses the beam at Scratch "Okay!" Scratch said and then he and Grounder start arguing and accidentally shoot the beam at Robotnik "Come back in exactly one hour so I can dismantle you!" Robotnik said in a low slow voice.

*Meanwhile at Rocket's house*

Rocket and his family are outside and Rocket is holding a checkered flag "Sonic and Brody promised they'd.... be.... here.... fast!" Rocket said then Sonic and Brody run past Rocket's house "Here..... we..... are.... Brody! Sonic! Stop!" Rocket said causing Brody and Sonic to run back and stops at the house, Tails flying above them.

"Your S.O.S. dodn't tell us the half of it!" Brody said "You really got Robotnik'ed!" Sonic said and they look at Rocket's family hanging from a different piece of the tree "Looks like your whole family's in shock!" Brody said "No. They're.... this.... way... all.... the... time" Rocket said and Brody pulls out a tape measurer "Let's figure out how to fix this place. Take some notes would you Tails?" Brody said while giving Tails a notebook and pencil and Brody runs around the house taking measures.

"Revise, Reinforce. Two main braces, four standing joints, three crossbits" Brody said "Twenty-four hundred board feet divided by four sloths, one warpin' wolf... one cute blue hedgehog and one two tailed hero in training!" Brody said measuring himself, Soic and Tails causing Sonic to blush when he was called cute.

"Right!" Tails said "Mhm, Now, let's see. That should take about.... ten minutes tops! Now lets check those notes" Sonic said grabbing the notebook from Tails and Brody and Sonic see Tails wrote a bunch of scribbles "I'm only four and a half years old! I don't know how to write yet" Tails said "I'm.... older" Rocket said "Really? What's your name?" Tails asks "Rocket!" Rocket said as Tails flies to him shaking hands "Hi Rocket" Tails said "I'm... the.... fastest... sloth.... on... Mobius! Wanna... see?" Rocket asks and then let go of the tree branch falling down with Tails "See? Now.... that's.... fast!" Rocket said "No time for hanging out gang!" Sonic said "Let's get fixin'! Sonic and I'll saw" Brody said "You guys haul!" Sonic said  as he puts two logs for him and Brody and they spin through them.

And Tails grabs the planks tossing them to Rocket "It's an assembly line! Let's rock and roll, Rocket!" Tails said as Rocket catches the planks "I'm.... rocketing!" Rocket said but the pile of wood planks gets to heavy causing Roclet to fall over "Whoa!" Rocket said "It's not working. Any ideas Brody?" Sonic asks and Brody hums in thought "I got it!" Brody said and runs to two wood planks and a short log forming a seesaw.

Brody then puts one wood plank on one end and jumps on the other causing the wood plank to get launched to the tree and Sonic catches it "Nice! Now somebody give me another board!" Sonic said "Look, Rocket! You can do what Brody did! Use your head!" Tails said "Can.... I.... try.... Brody?" Rocket asked "Sure kid" Brody said "O...kay!" Rocket said letting go of Tails lading on his head on the seesaw "Yeow!" Rocket said "I didn't mean use your head for real!" Tails said "Nice try Rocket!" Brody said "Agreed!" Sonic said as Brody jumps on the other end of the seesaw sending Rocket flying to the tree and getting caught by Sonic "Wanna.... see... it.... again?" Rocket asks as Brody jumps on the tree branch with a gong and small mallet "That's okay! We got a task for you!" Sonic said setting Rocket down "Yup, you stay here abd be our lookout. Just sound the gong if you see anything!" Brody said giving the gong and mallet to Rocket "Okay!" Rocket said and  Brody and Sonic jump down but quickly get back up before Rocket hits the gong "If you see trouble that is!" Sonic said and then the two get down and run around the house rebuilding the fence when they stop hearing what sounds like whistling as the two hammer some nails "Hey, hear that song? Sounds like the sloth family finally got moving!" Brody said but they see that the family(excluding Rocket) are sleeping inside the house "Not!" Sonic said.

*Meanwhile*

Scratch and Grounder are on their way to Rocket's house "Dr. Robotnik's gonna recycle you when that Slow-Mo ray wears off!" Scratch said "Not if I catch Brody and Sonic first!" Grounder said when they hear the sound of Sonic and Brody running in the distance "What's that noise?" Scratch asks as Grounder activates a sattelite ontop his head "Hedgehog and Wolf ahead!" He said "Dr. Robotnik was right! Sonic and Brody came to help the sloths!" Scratch said and prepares to aim at them "Let's get them!" He said and Rocket sees them in the distance "Uh... oh! Trou.... ble!" Rocket said hitting the gong "Hold stil, lugnut! We'll practice on that little sloth in the tree!" Scratch says firing but misses hitting the gong "Whoa!" Rocket said "D'oh! Missed!" Scratch said and Sonic and Brody jump to Rocket "Nice goingin', Rocket!" Sonic said "So what's the trouble? Duck!" Brody said and the three duck missing the shot from the beamand then the three jump off the branch and Scratch shoots again getting it to go inside the house startling Tails "What was that?" Tails asks.

Sonic and Brody enter the house, Sonic carrying Rocket and sets him on a tree branch "We're under badnik attack!" Sonic said "Let... me... at.... 'em!" Rocket said letting go of the tree barnch falling on the floor as the beam fires at the branch "Stay foot, Rocket. Sonic and I gotta fortify!" Brody said as the two run around the house building a steel wall then look through the window of Rocket's house "We could tell you guys, 'Don't move, We'll take care' but why waste our breath?" Sonic asks "Tails, you take care of the sloths while Sonic and I get rid of the badniks!" Brody said and the two run off and Scratch gets ontop of Grounder and they chase after them "Faster, you bucket of bolts!" Scratch said and tries to zap Sonic and Brody who run past a waterfall and Scratch ends up hitting the waterfall causing the water to fall slowly and Sonic and Brody look at the waterfall in shock "Did we see what we saw or what?" Sonic asks "Follow me we have to see something" Brody said and the two run off.

"Aw, stop complaining! It's my turn to be on top!" Grounder said who was now on top "Well, at least turn off your treads!" Scratch said as Brody and Sonic run to a mountain "Gotta see if that zapper does what I think!" Brody said as the two stop "Hey! Give it your best shot!" Sonic said "And try aiming this tine!" Brody said as Grounder zaps the boulders causing them to fall slowly "Yep! That zapper slow-mo stuff" Sonic said.

"You missed again, you miserable meat grinder!" Scratch said trying to take the beam from Grounder "How could I slow them down if they won't slow down so I can zap them?" Grounder asks as Robotnik appears floating on his Egg-O-Matic holding a megaphone "Can't you rotten robotd do anything right!" Robotnik yelled "Whoo! Guess that means the hour's up  and his slow-mo ray wore off" Scratch said  and Grounder looks up "He's probably not mad anymore" Grounder said "Want to bet?" Robotnik asks causing Scratch and Grounder to fight ove the Slow-mo beam "Quick! We better zap Sonic and Brody! Hey!" Scratch said "Hey, no, let me!" Grounder said "Give me!" Scratch said and theyend upshooting Robotnik again "Uh-oh!" The two said "You're robo-junk! See you in an hour!" Robotnik said in a low slow voice flying away.

Brody and Sonic start running back to Rocket's house dodging the shots from the beam "That Slow-Mo Zapper really works!" Sonic said "Gotta make sure the Sloths are safe, then we gotta dtop em'!" Brody said and Sonic nodded and the two run up to Rocket's house and Rocket looks out the window "Can.... we.... come... out... now, Sonic and Brody?" Rocket asks "Not till We've scratched Grounder and grounded Scratch!" Brody said "Come on Tails!" Sonic said.

*Later*

"I don't get it. How do we catch Sonic and Brody with an inflatable schoolhouse?" Grounder asked "Oh Grounder it's so simple!" Scratch said inflating inflable children and hammers down a 'SLOW SCHOOL ZONE' sign "Sonic and Brody slow down for the fake school zone then we zap them!" Scratch said.

Brody and Sonic run to the fake school zone with Tails flying behind. Soon they screech to a halt when they see the fake school "Whoa! Sub-sonic speed! School zone ahead!" Brody said  as they stop "I smell a bit plot!" Sonic said "Want me to get the tails out for you?" Tails asks "I got a better way to check it out!" Brody said as he and Sonic run off and come back disguised as school crossing guards and hold the fake kids walking with a sign "Do you see Sonic and Brody yet?" Scratch asks "Nah, just some dumb school crossing guards" Grounder said "Let me see!" Scratch said peaking over the inflatable school and sees them "You rustbucket! Those are no crossing guards! Those are Sonic and Brody! Get them!" Scratch said and Grounder fires the beam and Scratch pulls on it causing it to aim out of control "Tornado drill kids!" Sonic said "Tornado? What tornado?" Grounder asks "A Sonic and Brody tornado!" Brody said as the two run around Scratch and Grounder creating a big tornado and then grab the tornado by the bottom and throw it away sending Scratch and Grounder flying.

*Later*

"What am I doing here?" Grounder asks being in a sloth disguise haging on a tree branch "Simple. Brody and Sonic can't resist a sloth in distress!" Scratch said hiding in a tree "Here they come! Act like you're in trouble!" Scratch said "Ouch! Oh! Ow! Oooh, hurts! Oh pain!" Grounder said and Sonic and Brody stop near the tree "What's the matter big guy?" Sonic asks "Did your arm fall asleep before the rest of you?" Brody asks and Tails flyes up seeing Grounder in the costume "Sonic! Brody! It's a trap!" Tails said and Scratch aims the beam at Sonic and Brody "Get back, We'll..." Sonic said when Scratch shoots him and Brody "Save!" Sonic finished in a low slow voice "You.... go.... warn... sloths!" Brody said in a low slow voice and Tails nods flying awayand then Scratch and Grounder grab Sonic and Brody "Gotcha! We captured Sonic and Brody! We won!" Scratch and Grounder said and laughed "Oh, no! We're done for!" Brody and Sonic said and Scratch and Grounder get ready to call Robotnik.

*Back at Rocket's house*

Tails was pacing back and forth on a tree bramch Rocket was hanging on "We've gotta help Sonic and Brody!" Tails said "Ready.... when.... you.... are!" Rocket said "No offense, Rocket but we gotta rescue them in this lifetime!" Tails said "You.... can... do... it, just... use.... your... head!" Rocket said and let's go of the tree branch "Whoa!" He said landing on the ground "You could use your own advice, Rocket. You stay, and keep the family from doing anything hasty. I'm going after Sonic and Brody!" Tails said helping Rocket back on the branch and then flies off.

*At a cave behind a waterfall*

Scratch and Grounder were taunting and teasing Sonic and Brody who where in a cage. Unaware to the robots Tails had arrived and grabbed the Slow-Mo Beam "Let Sonic and Brody go!" Tails said aiming the beam at thembut Grounder turns his drill into a hand stretches it slapping the beam off Tails' hands but made broke the crystal in the process "The Crystal broke!" Grounder said "So? I'll just.... put it back in and slow-mo the brat!" Scratch said grabbing the beam putting the crystal back in and aims it at Tails but Sonic and Brody pull on Scratch's tail feathers "Yeow-ow!" Scratch said dropping the beam and Tails catches it "Tails! Save.... yourself!" Sonic said and Tails nods flying off with the beam.

*Back at Rocket's house*

"I just gotta go back, and this time. I won't let them trick me! I'll slow-mo them both and save Sonic and Brody!" Tails said "I'll.... go.... too!" Rocket said "You can't Rocket. You're just too slow!" Tails said "No.... I'm... not. Watch!" Rocket said falling ontop of the slow-mo beam and it ends up hitting Rocket but it actually makes Rocket really fast and he runs around the house "Wow! I'm even faster than ever!" Rocket said talking normally and Tails picks up the slow-mo beam "The Slow-mo is a Fast-mo! It must have happened when the crystal broke!" Tails said and Rocket stands next to Tails "Too bad. Now we won't be able to slow down the badniks or free Sonic and Brody!" Rocket said "It's even better! Now we can get a whole gang and outspeed em'!" Tails said zapping Rocket's parents and sister  "What are we waiting for? Let's boogie!" Rocket said and they all head to rescue Brody and Sonic.

*Back at the waterfall*

The sloths use a wood plank to launch themselves inside the cave bouncing all over the place startling Sceatch and Grounder, Grounder turns his drill into a tennis racket and launches the sloths back outside "We'll work fast and keep em' busy while you save Sonic and Brody!" Rocket said as the sloths go back at it and Tails flies inside the cave and lands behind the cage "Don't worry Sonic and Brody you'll be back to your old selves!" Tails said zapping Sonic and Brody returning them to normal.

"Wow! Way to go bro!" Sonic and Brody say getting out the cage "Hey you two!" Sonic and Brody said running to Scratch and Grounder "Hey! How'd you two get out?" Grounder asks "Relax, Grounder. No slowpoke hedgehog and wolf's gonna bother us!" Scratch said "Slowpokes?" Sonic asks "Up, over and streakin'!" Brody said and they run around and get on top if Grounder's treadmills and starts spinning him "Whoa! Hey; get off me you two!" Grounder said "We gotta get our excercise!" Sonic said "Whoa-o-o-o-oa!" Grounder said "Let's show Scratch your great forehand!" Brody said the two making  Grounder hit Scratch with the racket sending him flying out the cave and then Sonic and Brody get off Grounder who was dizzy and then Brody and Sonic put part of a slignshot behind Grounder and let go of it launching Grounder out of the cave crashing into Scratch.

"Fast work, Sonic and Brody! Couldn't have done it quicker myself!" Rocket said "Tahnks Rocket!" Brody and Sonic said "Couldn't have done it without you and Tails" Brody said and Sonic nodded "Hey, Sonic and Brody what do we do with this?" Tails asks holding the beam "Hey, you little double-tailed troublemaker!" Robotnik said from outside the cave "What are you doing with my priceless creation? Give it back!" Robotnik said "You heard the man Tails!" Sonic said "Let him have it!" Brody said and Tails nods aiming at Robotnik who flinches "No! Don't shoot! You'll make me slow again!" Robotnik said "Wanna bet?" Tails asked zapping Robotnik and his Egg-O-Matic causing it to fly all over the place out of control at high speed "Gotta make sure this doesn't fall into Robotnik's hands again!" Brody said grabbing the crystal crushing it and then throws the beam in the water and Tails and Rocket cheers while Sonic and Brody high five in victory.

"Stop! I can't take this for an hour! I get speed-sick! I'll get Sonic and Brody for this! Hey, where did that mountain top come from? No, stop!" Robotnik said in a high pitched fast voice and screams as he crashes into a mountain.

"Ow! Oh! I.... hate... that... hedgehog... and.... that.... wolf!" Robotnik said in a high pitched voice as this chapter is over.
