Sasuke stared at the cloudless starry night through the window. The moonlight gently kissed his skin and hair, Gray was still asleep. He would glance at the sleeping mage a few times.

Sasuke left the bedroom to check on Tsukiko if she is alright. The male slowly opened the door to avoid that annoying squeaking noise. He entered and closed the door silently.

Sasuke walked over to the baby girl's crib, then a small smile formed when he saw Tsukiko sleeping peacefully.

How did I get myself into this? At least I'm happy for once.

He thought that having children was a hassle. But he didn't expect that it would be a good experience.

The raven male heaved a sigh, glancing at the walkie talkie at the bedside table near Tsukiko's crib. Just to be sure that if she cried, either Gray or him will hear it. A lot of things were lingering in his mind about what happened recently.

The fear of bringing Tsukiko to the wrong path, maybe she would repeat his sin that he committed years ago. Or she would make bad choices that would change who she is.

There was so many doubts that remained in his mind ever since he saved Tsukiko. He didn't know what to do since he never raised a child before and it irked him.

"You alright?"

Sasuke blinked and looked over to see Gray who was rubbing his eyes a little. A wave of relief washed over the raven and looked away.

"Just fine. I was checking on her if she's okay."

Sasuke turned once again, his back facing Gray. The cool breeze blowing against him and made him thank Mother Nature for the small action. His train of thoughts were interrupted when he felt strong arms around his waist and the familiar weight on his shoulder. "Gray...?"

"You're overthinking. Aren't you?" Gray asks.

Sasuke stays silent. Gray knew it. The Uchiha can't hide anything from Gray anyway. He observed him so well to the point that Sasuke had to at least avoid him. Sometimes. "We'll figure things out, Sasuke. You shouldn't hold that burden all to yourself. I will always be by your side, don't forget that, please."

Sasuke then turns around to face the mage. His cool hands cupping his cheeks and made Gray look at him. "I won't. I'm sorry, it's a filthy habit." Sasuke says in a pained tone, which made Gray's heart break by hearing it

Gray then lets go of his waist then placed his hands on the railing. "Promise me, Sasuke..that if you have anything that is making you feel this way, tell me." Gray said.

Sasuke chuckles then sighs.

"I will."
