Before the human can respond a person of great power appears, one that they've never met before.

"Jessa, Dhiren, before you pronounce judgement on my child there are some things you should know." The female states and they become even more alert and ready to fight. At least Dhiren does, he moves to go in front of Jessa when he finds that he can't move. That, of course, angers him a great deal.

"Sister, that is a good way to make sure that he won't listen. If he doesn't then it won't matter what Jessa orders, he'll not back her up." Lady Zira appears there as well and with her words Dhiren is released from his stasis and immediately goes in front of Jessa.

"Are you alright, Jessa?" Jethro asks looking at her worriedly. "I mean truly? You aren't looking well."

Jessa wants to reassure her great grandfather, but honesty compels her to tell him the truth. "Not really. I'm doing my best to not scream in agony at this time. The infection is getting worse, I can almost feel it as it works its way further into my body." Dhiren looks at her horrified at her words. "There is nothing more the elves can do."

"No, nor is there much more I can do, but, I can ease things for a short amount of time. Dhiren, you must not go in easy stages or she won't make it. Tomorrow you must ride hard. What I'll do will last through tomorrow possibly the next morning, but no longer and by then the infection will be bad." Jethro looks to Dhiren to make sure that he understands and Dhiren nods once sharply. He'll ride Wind, his mount, and carry Jessa, or they'll take Moonglow. Either way tomorrow they will be in Castlerock so that her grandfather can help her.

A throat clearing brings them back to the goddess that called them there. "I am sorry to hear about your pain. I'm not here to cause you more, but there are things you need to know about my child," the goddess motions to the human and they can see him even though he isn't part of the group. "And also about yourself that the others haven't told you that you should know."

That last part certainly captures Jessa and Dhiren's attention. "What do you mean?" Jessa asks with curiosity. She thought they had her past figured out pretty good by this time.

Dhiren is a bit more direct, "Who the hell are you?"

The female looks over to Dhiren angrily, not liking his attitude or words.

Zira puts a calming hand on her arm. "You never did introduce yourself and didn't wait for me to do so. Dhiren has never cared for surprises, it brings out the worse in him and it doesn't help having Jessa lying there injured and him helpless to ease her pain or heal her."

Zira then turns to Dhiren and Jessa, "This is my sister, she has many names or titles. She is known as Faith, Fe, Chance, Destiny, Fate I'm sure you can think of some others. She is my elder sister and oldest of us all, with the exception of perhaps the dragon deities."

The other female smiles nastily at that. "They like to think that they are out of my purview, but they too are under my control and doesn't that just chafe the Ancient One?"

"Careful of how you speak of me, Fay, my children may be under your purview, but you aren't infallible or invincible. I have known for centuries how to end you should you ever need it." The Ancient One rumbles as he comes into sight. He looks over at Dhiren and gives him a slight nod before looking at Jessa.

He growls at what he sees. "You shouldn't be stopping this close to help. She needs it shortly or she won't make it."

"She has a name, I would prefer it if you would use it, Ancient One." Jessa says more than a little irritatedly. The others are horrified at her attitude and hold their breathes to see his reaction.

The Ancient One chuckles, "You are indeed your father's child and most definitely one of mine. Forgive me, Jessa. You need to see Alaric as soon as possible, not taking a break and moseying along."

"Hush, Lady Fay was just about to tell me or rather us some information about me that you and the others haven't." Jessa is still irritable, she truly is uncomfortable and in pain, although Jethro had eased that quite a bit with his abilities.

"Fay, you know that is information that is best not told." The Ancient One grumbles warningly.

"Stop, if it is about me, then I have a right to know what it is." Jessa motions for Dhiren to help her up. Instead of helping her he picks her up and carries her over to the irate dragon god.

"What is it that you've had Alaric keep from me?" She looks over to Zira and then Jethro, "What are you hiding?"

"Quite a lot, but then all deities do. But there are some things that pertain to you directly that you need to know. Some that I cannot tell you, at least not yet.

"Please, make yourselves comfortable, this might take some time and I wouldn't want you to hurt even more." Dhiren gives the new deity a distrustful look before setting himself on the ground, he continues to hold Jessa near. They find comfort in the close contact and Jessa hopes it will be enough to keep Dhiren from jumping up and attacking the new deity if she says something he won't like.

"To start off, I need to tell you a couple of things about yourself, Jessa. You, alone of all sentient creatures are outside of my purview. I have no control over you or your destiny.

"The other, everything that has happened to you, was necessary. You are the one that will either be the savior of all or the destroyer of this world." Her words make the Ancient One growl once more in warning that she ignores, Jethro and Zira look away from Dhiren and Jessa. Only Fay continues to look at them.

"What do you mean the savior or destroyer? Why in the hell would I destroy this world?" Jessa demands more than a little angry at what she'd been told.

"I seriously doubt that you would intentionally do so. Even in your life, there are set things that must happen. Your parents meeting, them marrying, them dying. All that was necessary to bring you into the world. The elves finding you before you died, them accepting you and raising you. That also needed to happen.

"Had Prince Dhiren been listened to by his father and you raised outside of Silva, this world would have been doomed.

"You learning and being better than the elven youth was another thing that had to happen or again this world would be doomed.

"Prince Dhiren, had you not regained control of yourself when you first sparred against Jessa, you would have ended her life and sparked civil war among my sister's people. The moon elves would have destroyed themselves allowing the evil to flow through this land. Instead of the fight starting elsewhere and the elves being instrumental in stopping it.

"Dhiren's and Jessa's lives have always been intertwined. He either learns to love her and she him and he backs her in her choices and decisions or he kills her and destroys her before she can save this world.

"With you having chosen to love her, you will now need to follow and back her decisions whether good or bad without complaint.

"Jessa," Fay turns her direct attention from Dhiren's aghast face to Jessa, "You have an infinite amount of choices ahead of you. Each choice will take away some options and open others. However, there is only one path out of them all that will save this world.

"Gaining Dhiren's love was one of the things that needed to happen to remain on the path to saving this world. The punishment you choose for my child is another point that will help you on this path or take you off. "

"I see," Jessa says softly. She doesn't like this weight that now seems to be pressing on her shoulders.

"Jessa, don't over think things. There was a reason you weren't told of this, your decisions must be your own. Use your heart to make them and you will surely make the right decision."

Jessa gives a short chuckle before pain stopped her. "I thank you for not telling me of this heavy burden. Lady Fay, I'm not sure if I should thank you or curse you for telling me."

"How about neither? Making your own way and knowing that they are your decisions is a heavy burden. You can't blame others for them and must take full responsibility. But you have already done an excellent job.

"The bandits was one of the things that needed to be done."

"So was Nathan dying?" This thought makes Jessa angry.

Fay sighs, "I know his loss hurts you greatly. But just as your parents needed to die and you be raised by the elves, so must he die. Your decision let him have the path that gave him the greatest honor with his chosen god. He died doing what he wanted, to protect you and his fellow guards from bandits. His death was inevitable. Had you chosen to not go against the bandits then he would have been killed by them without him even being able to get off an arrow in return.

"He fought by your side, he was able to take down some of the dragon kin. Unlike my child's brother who died helplessly under the arrow barrage.

"My sister knew that his death was imminent that's why she allowed one of her children to have his child."

"Children, Fay, she is having twins." Zira breaks in.

Fay looks at Zira astonished. "You don't allow many of your people to have twins, Zira."

"Sorsha earned that right when she was able to overcome her hatred of Jessa and has now become her champion. Nathan earned that right long before he gave his life to protect Jessa in her duty."

Fay looks at Zira smiling brilliantly. "I'm sure that their children will be greatly blessed."

"They are to be my children's guards." Dhiren says narrowing his eyes at the female deity. He's not happy with the revelations she's given.

"They will be excellent guards I am sure. I have no doubt that Jethro will see to that."

Jessa says nothing and just observes everything. "I believe we've gotten off track here."

"Yes, you're right." Fay says and once more directs her attention to Jessa. "Please listen to him before you make your judgement."

Jessa merely looks at the deity before nodding.

Expecting more Fay merely sighs before returning them to the camp.
